Hi, I'm a renter so no option to grill. But I do have a slow cooker! I made this recipe just yesterday and used the high setting; you were spot on with the timing. In 3½ hrs I had the most tender and perfectly sauced ribs with the BBQ smoky flavor I craved. Thanks for sharing 😁

I’m putting mine in the slow cooker on high too. I hope they come out good! My sister told me to never use high on my slow cooker or your meat will come out tough or dry. Idk if that’s true though 😭

I really enjoy your videos you have a good way of explaining what to do, a good voice for it. And the ribs look ohhh so good! I will be doing my ribs this way, instead of onions on the bottom, I will be adding some potatoes or something, can't do onions.

Excellent. Came out as described. I gave it an extra half hour on high though, to get it even more tender, and it was fall off the bone. I did the 3 and a half hour on high version. Only did a teaspoon of chili powder. I dont like too much heat, and added some Tarragon to the rub. I'm 2 for 2 with Dave here. That never happens with some other cooks, due to some failure or another. The beef roast was another success from a couple weeks ago.

He didnt mention an important fact. Take the membrane off the back of the ribs(bone side). This allows rub & sauce to come through the meat. Use a butter knife and start at the narrow edge of the slab. Once you get it to peel grab it with paper towels and it will come off in one sheet.

slow cookers rule! the onions are important to protect the ribs from the cooking surface.
save the fat/grease and substitute it for water for those packets of McCormick powder gravy mix.
