Hi, I'm a renter so no option to grill. But I do have a slow cooker! I made this recipe just yesterday and used the high setting; you were spot on with the timing. In 3½ hrs I had the most tender and perfectly sauced ribs with the BBQ smoky flavor I craved. Thanks for sharing 😁
I’m putting mine in the slow cooker on high too. I hope they come out good! My sister told me to never use high on my slow cooker or your meat will come out tough or dry. Idk if that’s true though 😭
I really enjoy your videos you have a good way of explaining what to do, a good voice for it. And the ribs look ohhh so good! I will be doing my ribs this way, instead of onions on the bottom, I will be adding some potatoes or something, can't do onions.
Excellent. Came out as described. I gave it an extra half hour on high though, to get it even more tender, and it was fall off the bone. I did the 3 and a half hour on high version. Only did a teaspoon of chili powder. I dont like too much heat, and added some Tarragon to the rub. I'm 2 for 2 with Dave here. That never happens with some other cooks, due to some failure or another. The beef roast was another success from a couple weeks ago.

He didnt mention an important fact. Take the membrane off the back of the ribs(bone side). This allows rub & sauce to come through the meat. Use a butter knife and start at the narrow edge of the slab. Once you get it to peel grab it with paper towels and it will come off in one sheet.
would this be the same for any ribs or any meat to rub the salt and let it release its juice for 5 mins or so before you bake? I NEVER KNEW this before thank you so MUch :)
Mr. Dave have you made oxtail soup slow cooker style? I must be blind? I couldn't see something like thato n your page. Btw. I made the brazo de mercedes. Exactly how you did it. It was a hit. My team won the NFL haha. Good food made the game more fun for us. Thank you
u dont like bbq sauce would it still work out with just salt and herbs? no water added? i wanted to slow bake this in the oven in a clay baker do u know the temp of your crock pot on low? 6 to 7 hrs on what temp?
slow cookers rule! the onions are important to protect the ribs from the cooking surface. save the fat/grease and substitute it for water for those packets of McCormick powder gravy mix.
Hi Shielo. I suppose you could. I understand these cook a lot faster, so I don't know if you will get the same effect. You could give it a try. You will just have to reduce the baking time.
Well I combined several recipes and threw in some of my own ideas, and it is now cooking but I don't think I like what I smell, and I should have checked you out first.
Lynn Alban Wow, we thought ignorant people on the decline when it comes to food knowledge. Worms in a pork rib? Really? You need to do research. There is a reason pork is popular, tasty and, yes, even HEALTHY!!!! Why, you may ask? Because there are not frikken' WORMS you moron....Just sayin'

Hi. I would make it about 250 F. Slow is the way to go.
Nice.....
Hi. Thanks so much.
slow cookers rule! the onions are important to protect the ribs from the cooking surface.
save the fat/grease and substitute it for water for those packets of McCormick powder gravy mix.
So leave the ribs in the slow cooker for 3 or 5 hours?
Hi. Yeah, low and slow is the best. You could even leave them for 8 hours on low. Hope this helps.
Hi there can i use pork neck bone instead of back ribs?? Tnx!
Hi Krystal. I suppose you could. That's the great thing about a slow cooker. You can do just about anything in it.
I can't get over how similar your voice sounds to the dubbed voices from traveling shows....
LOL. Well it's not dubbed.
can i use convection cooker/turbo broiler?
Hi Shielo. I suppose you could. I understand these cook a lot faster, so I don't know if you will get the same effect. You could give it a try. You will just have to reduce the baking time.
mmmmmmm i have to try pork ribs lol
+Josephine Cowley Hi. I think you'll enjoy them.
Did you remove the silver skin?
Hi Chris.I didn't with these. I usually do, however.
wow no water in a crock pot ?
Hi. Not on this one. There was enough fat on the meat and water from the veggies to actually cook it.
Maraming salamat po.
You're welcome.
I have no slow cooker what can I use instead of?
Hi Dahlias. We have an oven baked recipe if that helps. You can just search our RUclips channel for it. Hope this helps.
