Thanks! I'm 71 years old. Tried this last week. Fantastic! Finally! After all these years, I've learned how cook incredible baby back ribs! You're the man!
This is by far the best tutorial on oven made ribs. I’ve tried a few other ones and they were always wayyy to soft. These are crisp and delicious without using too much material.
The tip about grabbing the membrane with the paper towel, wow what a huge difference. I’ve struggle with that slippery little sucker for years and your tip made is so easy. It’s clear you know your way around a cut of meat. Sub earned sir.
Probably one of the biggest bang for your buck tips I’ve come across. Was aware of this before this video but I remember when I first heard this it was a game changer.
First time I tried cooking ribs today. I followed exactly what you did and they came out looking like yours. Family enjoyed it and were surprised I cooked them! Thank you!
Dude your rib recipe is hands down the best simplest and easiest ..I love how you specify (not fall off the bone)..to me that's key..as a 34 year Butcher I appreciate your cooking..Great Job!!
So, for all of you who have not tried this technique, or who are procrastinating, get off the dime and do this!! The results are by far the best oven ribs I've ever tried. Seriously! I now have a go-to recipe for winter ribs or simply a fast (two hour), simple way to satisfy my craving for ribs. Thank you for posting this for all of us to try. Great job!
My first time making baby back ribs. Followed your video to the letter. There were 10 of us for dinner and everyone raved about how good the ribs were. Fall off the bone tender. Thank you very, very much.
I didn’t even bother waiting to put them back in the oven after the first go around. I just smothered them in sauce and went to town. SO good! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing! Tried this method twice with great results. I used slightly lower temperature as others had mentioned like 330 and 320. Tips. Remove as much oil as you can before going up to 450! (As shown in video) Excess oil will smoke or even catch fire. For those in apartments, this will smoke a little so smoke alarms may go off.
I followed your instructions exactly and made some ribs in the oven last night. Let me just say those were some damn good ribs. Even my boyfriend was impressed. Thank you so much for sharing!
Most other tutorials I've seen suggest slow-cooking the ribs at 275-300 and covered. After that, remove the cover, brush on the sauce and crank the heat to 450 for about 20 minutes. But not having to cover them like you show here is a nice touch, so I'll give this a go.
This is my second time using your method and recipe the first was on the 4th of July. Super easy and I look like a rib master now and everyone agreed that I should make these today on Christmas. Normally when I try diy RUclips things my end product ends up coming out like the Wish version of what it was supposed to look like 🤣. But I make these in secret all by myself and make it seem like it was a tedious process. My family is gonna tear these up in a few hours. Thanks man and Semper Fi and may you and yours have a Merry Christmas.🇺🇸

Brother, I used your cooking method, and I can't believe how well these turned out. I switched out a couple of things. I used Louis cut ribs. For a binder, I used some liquid smoke, not too much. I used my own rub. I followed your cooking instructions, except I added another 45 minutes at 350 because I wasn't using baby backs. Man, they were so good. Thanks for sharing.
@@jamescain1846 I did the entire cook at 350, I just added time because they were St Louis ribs, then turned out great. And for the record, I am an avid fan of smoking meat on my smoker, I'm just saying these were much better than I expected.
You have such a calming voice and your instructions are to the point without a lot of BLAH BLAH BLAH to simply make the video longer. I have used your recipe several times and it was perfect each time. It's hard to find a recipe that comes out the same every time, but this one does! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!
My goodness! Easiest cooking method I have ever seen for ribs and to be honest I’m going to keep doing this! Absolutely easy and delicious! Use your favorite rub and sauce!
I did the babyback ribs today and did everything like you did in the video and they came out so tender and falling off the bone. First time that i do them in the oven and came out so good and tasty.

Every time the family wants Ribs and we can’t do them outside due to weather etc. I always pull out this video and follow along. Every time the ribs come out amazing. Thanks for the video
Tried this the other day to see if it worked as well as the video shows. Much to my surprise, it did! I just used a supermarket BBQ rub and followed the techniques shown. The ribs weren't dry at all, as I thought they'd be from not being completely wrapped with foil in a dry oven. If you don't have a smoker or many hours of time to wait, this is a great way to get similar results with much less babysitting. A+ from me.
I’m am not a chef by any means. I’ve never cooked ribs before and I used this video to do it for my first time. Amazing way to quickly cook ribs. Just cooked two racks this way and they were perfect. Amazing tutorial and great video!!! 🎉
Gotta be honest, I was VERY skeptical when I saw you set the temp to 350. But I have to say I tried this with St. Louis style ribs, cut the time down a hair and they came out surprisingly great! I’m adding this to my Arsenal, thanks!
My moms from the South and she’s been doing this since I was a kid. I’ve since incorporated it into my arsenal. Im a professional chef in Vegas btw. Every single person has absolutely loved them and asked for the recipe but thats for family only! You do yours almost exactly the same though so here ya go guys! Amazing ribs!
Thanks for the tutorial. Ribs came out great. I would just recommend to everyone to put down a 2nd piece of tinfoil after removing the 1st piece before you put the sauced ribs back in the oven.
You can definitely do that. Granted I probably should’ve done that on the video, but my overall point was to remove the drippings from the beginning of the cook before turning up the temperature
I was so worried about 350 and not covering them. Beat ribs I’ve ever cooked! Even my picky eater son who “hates bbq sauce” ate 3 of them. Thanks so much for a great recipe as I followed it to a T.
OMG! Thank you so much for sharing this video. I followed instructions to the letter and it was the best rib dinner I ever made, and the best ribs I’ve ever had. Best part…. My husband wholeheartedly agreed…. No leftovers ☹️ but I let him have the last one 😇 Your temperatures and cooking times were spot on, and absolutely the easiest cleanup ever! Football 🏈 and ribs….. #heaven #subscribed!
My oven is a split-oven. The single shelf oven has such intense heat that I had to adjust the temperature and time to cook and man, I gotta tell ya: it's all trial and error to get it to the way you cook your ribs. Because the space inside that single shelf oven is also so confined that I had to stay with the ribs during the broiling part so that it doesn't burn the crust (I skipped the BBQ sauce since I'm not really a fan of BBQ sauce on my ribs; I prefer dry rub). Y'all kept your instructions lucid, simple, and easy. Thanks so much, Chef!
I use this recipe and change up the seasoning every time- but what I do is use parchment paper AND foil, and they end up so juicy. But the temperature and timing and adjustments are just so spot on, every time we make ribs it ends up phenomenal. Thanks, 😊dude!
Bro that was crazy easy. Cutting board, butter knife, cookie sheet? That’s like barely any cleanup. Thank you for this video, you made this looks so simple I have to try this recipe
Dude your oven recipe is the Best out there simple easy and (not fall off the bone) not making pulled pork haha..I'm a butcher so appreciate your cooking style!!..Thanks Again
I have made these already 4 times and they are always AMAZING!!! if your debating, just try it. I promise it'll be worth it. THANKS for teaching me this ❤
I’m still looking for the spices so I can make the homemade rub , I don’t want to run out and just buy something. I’m just gonna use once where is the recipe please share.
Wow! Best Ribs Ever! Super Easy and without a huge mess! I made four racks; the oven was packed! And they turned out great by following your instructions! Thanks!
I didn't change times at all, Although when I put them back in for 10 min and then three under the broiler I did those one pan (2 racks) at a time just to manage the finish a little better.
@@AndersonsSmokeShow Hey Anderson GREAT VIDEO BRO! I have a question, with this recipe, I have a "RIB RACK" with slots for the racks of ribs and was wondering if and HOW can I use that with this recipe? Please reply and thank you sir!👊💪🏆
I don’t see why you couldn’t use it. Obviously I would make sure that you place the rack on a cookie or baking sheet. It could change the timing up slightly, but if you just keep an eye on them I don’t see why it wouldn’t work
@@AndersonsSmokeShow You said you use mustard as a binder on ribs for the grill, can you use mustard for this oven recipe? What kind of mustard as well Anderson? You Rock bro!
That butter knife tip to get the silver skin off worked like a charm. I was already using a paper towel to pull it off but struggled to get a part loose enough to start. The knife did the trick. Thank you!
Update, made ribs for a party the way you did it word for word, even found the BBQ Sauce. The most phenomenal ribs I've ever had. Thank you bro I'm in Western NY and this will be made during Bills games😏
I use this recipe every time I make ribs. I always get compliments and they always come out so tender in the inside with a thin crispy outer layer… so delicious👏🏼
I’m making them right now. Just put them for the first 2 hours. Using the butter knife to remove the membrane worked perfectly. I’m following your directions….so far…everything’s good. When I’m done…I’ll come back and let you know how it went.
Ok we just had them for birthday dinner, they were absolutely tremendous. Summer or winter this is my go to rib recipe forever. As I said previously I used Famous Dave’s rub and Sweet baby Ray’s BBQ sauce. The only mistake I made was the 3 minutes in the broiler the rack should have been lower so there was some charcoal on them but they still ate good. Great recipe my friend.
Followed this procedure earlier tonite.....excellent!! The one thing I did different was, for the 2-hour bake, I wrapped the ribs in foil. Came out really tender. The 3-minute broil at the end makes all the difference! Thanks!
Great Video, great presentation, great tips and didn't waste time with Blather. When you took a bite, my mouth watered. Definitely gonna do this recipe later this week. Thank You So Much.
Thanks! Hope you enjoy them! Just keep an eye on them towards the last 15-20min just in case your oven temperature is a little hotter than what it reads
Just want to say I appreciate how thorough you are when applying the seasoning because I'm the same way. I don't understand folks who just halfass sprinkle something on, I want it COMPLETELY COVERED or what's the point?
It was too cold outside to smoke ribs so i decided to throw them in the oven. I wasn't sure on the temperature or length of time till I found your method. I seasoned the ribs my own way, but followed your cooking method accordingly. It was simple and a success. I'm positive i will continue to use this method in the future. Thank you!
Thanks bud! I was gifted a slab of baby back ribs and, since I have no grill, didn't know what to do with them. What I have, is a gas oven. I made them as you explained and finished them (along with some brussels sprouts) under the broiler and it was just incredible.
This video is of GREAT value. Thank you for bringing the value!!! I've been searching around for an embarassing amount of years for ribs that fit the plan. BINGO. This!!!! Right here. Searched for this exact recipe for a very long time. I even asked at the local rib houses what they're doing and never got an answer. This is the answer, right here. Better than any local rib specialty joint.
Nope, you did not lie!!! This is the best, easiest recipe for baby back ribs! Tender, fall off the bone good! Cleanup was great, olive oil rub before the seasoning was makes a great difference as a binder. Thank you! Gonna make another rack! Superbowl feast is gonna be great, gonna score with this recipe big time! YES!!!😍
@@AndersonsSmokeShow Thank you for that tip Anderson! Keep up the GREAT work helping people like me to NOT be afraid of cooking amazing food! Thank YOU sir!🙏
I just made these and just finished eating. following your instructions exactly. I used a Bourbon and brown sugar rub and Sweet Baby Rays Hickory and brown sugar sauce. It perfect in tenderness, juiciness and flavor. Thank you!
I was a bit skeptical about 2 hours at 350, expecting dry AF ribs, but your instructions were spot on. Meat fell right of the bone, juicy and tender 👍🏻 🐷
I've been wrapping my ribs and less dry rub. Your temps and times and open ribs were perfect. I got spareribs and rubbed'em good. The 2 hr at 350 is perfect. Poured Memphis BBQ sauce good and thick at 450 for 10 minutes and it was hot. I put a bit more sauce on before the broiler and they were bubbling and charded spots. Fantastic. Thanks.
people this is the easiest baby back rib recipe ever, I made these this weekend and they were so perfect and tasty, serious, this is the best recipe video I have seen in a very long time. Do exactly as instructed. Thank you sir for this video, very good job. Thanks again.
I tried your oven recipe for the first time today. I was set to try a much more complicated oven ribs recipe, but decided to try yours because it is MUCH easier. They turned out PERFECTLY! SO tasty and I love that char! SUBSCRIBED!! 😋
One more upvote for this recipe, and thank you, Sir! I had to adjust the rub to accommodate for what I had on hand - smoked salt, garlic powder, paprika. Going with, unwrapped, 350f (177-180 C) for ~2hrs, for about 3lbs of ribs yielded great caramelized crust, firm yet tender meat. I am a bit over the "fall of the bone" phase, and my wife actually prefers her ribs on the dryer/firmer side, so this came out JUST so! After the two hours, I pulled them from the oven, wrapped in foil and let rest for about 1hr. Afterwards I sauced 1/2 of the ribs and left the other with just the rub. Both were get-out-of-town delicious. Thanks again for the tutorial!
This was my first time cooking ribs in the oven and I gotta say they turned out better than expected. Next time I'm going to lower my broil time to maybe one or two minutes because it really charred up my sauce but overall would make again. You earned a subscriber from me!
Made these tonight & OMG, they were AH-MAZ-ING!! Thank You soo much! Made my own ribs rub & used Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce. Tasted like more! Will definitely be making these again soon. Happy Holidays to you 🎄 ⭐️ 💫
I live in apartment so I don't have the luxury of a grill. I followed your other video for spare ribs in the oven. I followed it to a t and they came out great. I now have a rack of baby back ribs in the oven following your video and they look great so far! Fan from Cincinnati.
I was skeptical, not going to lie…I’ve only really used the Crock Pot, or Grill (grilled after an overnight root beer marinade)…But I watched the easy preparation, and the results you had after…also made me feel confident when I saw that you use the same brand of BBQ sauce that I now swear by (I use the Honey Sweet flavor). I did the oven prep for 2 hours, and then sprinkled a little extra season mix that I blended together, rested in warm oven for a few before taking to the grill, Saucing, and cooking the remaining 20 min at 450…My neighbors went crazy and would not stop raving…this was such an amazing prep and cook, and I have to say a huge HUGE Thanks!!!
I'm looking to bake my first ever rack of spareribs today, I've been watching different channels for a few days to get tips and time/temp ideas, and am struck by how different temperatures suggestions, anywhere from 225 up to 350 as in your case. And they all look good, but nobody is taking me up on my suggestion to be their taste tester. What would be the difference is I followed you recipe but lowered the temperature down to say 275? Would the ribs simply take longer or is it more complicated than that? Is there also any advantage and disadvantage to covering in foil vs not covering the ribs? It's darn confusing for a beginner, but I sure get hungry as I watch. :)
Basically boils down to time. 275 would be perfectly fine... but they will take longer for sure. Wrapping the ribs in foil traps the moisture inside and tenderizes them without losing the moisture.
Made these today. Came out OUTSTANDING! Thank you man. Only thing I changed was mustard instead of Olive oil. Didn’t have any so mustard worked wonders. Added flavor too. Oven ribs at its finest. Thanks again Brother!
Thank you, thank you, thank you bro!!!! I saw this vid about 2 yrs ago, and I've cooked ribs many times since exclusively using your recipe. My go-to rib rub is Famous Dave's, and my go-to barbeque sauce is Stubbs sticky sweet with an added touch of brown sugar.
I’ll be trying this for my breakfast I like to add a sunny-side-up egg on top with the serving portion and five. This was such an amazing video I can’t wait to try it thank you for being such an amazing home cook and making this just look so related to everybody. First time watching your videos I’ll definitely be checking out other videos for sure🎉
Lifesaver. Long story short roofers kept me from my barbecue and I had three racks… This saved the day. Super tender. Went to cut them and they just pulled apart. delicious.
These are the best oven ribs I've ever made! I would use avocado oil instead though because its got a much higher smoke point, but it doesn't matter much with a recipe like this, where the oil is just used as a binder. Thank you!
Great teaching easy & understanding step by step..I like the fact that you only spoke about the recipe ( not what grandma did when you were a kid ..Great Job

Glad you like them!
I’m glad you specified that you were “not going to lie” before making most of your statements, it really reassured me that you are not lying.
Wow! Best Ribs Ever! Super Easy and without a huge mess! I made four racks; the oven was packed! And they turned out great by following your instructions! Thanks!
Awesome! So glad to hear!
You made all 4 racks at once? Did you have to adjust the cooking times or tsmperature at all?
I didn't change times at all, Although when I put them back in for 10 min and then three under the broiler I did those one pan (2 racks) at a time just to manage the finish a little better.
@@harlanschafer4530 thanks!
Thank you, I tried this last night and they were the best oven cooked ribs I ever made.
Tried this today and all I have to say is wow 👏 my family loved it kids destroyed them nothing but bone left! Thanks man 👍👍
Glad everyone like them Joshua! Thanks for the feedback!
You can use mustard for these as well. I typically just use plain yellow mustard
Thanks bro I need this I’m making ribs as we speak and I’m using your method!
Awesome! I have an updated video from earlier this year that shows some tips
That butter knife tip to get the silver skin off worked like a charm. I was already using a paper towel to pull it off but struggled to get a part loose enough to start. The knife did the trick. Thank you!
This video just saved my ass for dinner. My girlfriend was mad I waited all day to start cooking. But I've got this in my back pocket for ever now.
Hahah glad I could help out! Thanks for watching
Love this recipe. I’ve made them 3 times and they’re increíble every time.
Well now did they turn out?
They turned out great. They were so good that I’m making them again. I make a big pot of homemade Mac and cheese to have with it. It’s yummy.
Thanks for the feedback Bob! Glad to hear that you enjoyed them
sweet baby rays is a great sauce for this 🤙👏👏
living in a college dorm with oven only and wanting to make ribs this video was amazing! made it for my roomamtes and they all loved them
Awesome! Glad to hear that they were a hit!
Followed this procedure earlier tonite.....excellent!! The one thing I did different was, for the 2-hour bake, I wrapped the ribs in foil. Came out really tender. The 3-minute broil at the end makes all the difference! Thanks!
Glad they turned out for you!
I was just asking about that
I’ve been doing this ever since I first saw your video like a year ago! They always come out GREAT
Heck yeah! 💪🏻
Made ribs today with this cooking technique and it turned out amazing. Paired ribs with Mac n cheese and fries. So super yummy.
I made these ribs tonight and they were awesome! This was fast and easy. This is now my go to method for oven ribs!
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked them
It kills me, that you people are claiming ribs that took over two hours to cook were "fast"!
You did a very nice job in your presentation and explanation!!! One of the best ones I’ve seen in a long time!! Keep up the good work!!!
Thanks Maria! And thanks for watching!
Thank you!
Glad you liked them!
Tried this, and the ribs came out amazing. Great video 👍🏾
Thanks bud! I was gifted a slab of baby back ribs and, since I have no grill, didn't know what to do with them. What I have, is a gas oven. I made them as you explained and finished them (along with some brussels sprouts) under the broiler and it was just incredible.
You've made me look like a BBQ genius at our 4th of July party. You've earned a sub and looking forward to trying another recipe!
Awesomeness!!!
YES!!!😍
I’ve made ribs in the oven a couple of times, years ago, they’re not too bad. Awesome looking rack Andrew!
Oh man these were phenomenal! Most people don’t accomplish this finish in the oven! Thanks for watching!
@@AndersonsSmokeShow bout to make some tonight
And his ribs aren’t bad either
Mustard will work as well. Just keep an eye on them towards the end of the cook.
@@AndersonsSmokeShow Thank you for that tip Anderson! Keep up the GREAT work helping people like me to NOT be afraid of cooking amazing food! Thank YOU sir!🙏
My husband loved them the best ever thank you 😊
Awesome to hear!
This is by far one of the best oven made rib vids I've seen thus far! I'm definitely gonna try this. Thanks for the post!!! 👍👍
Be sure to let me know how they turn out! We loved them!
Made this tonight with homemade bbq sauce and dry rub. Absolutely fantastic! Who needs a smoker?!? Thank you!
Awesome!
I just made these and just finished eating. following your instructions exactly. I used a Bourbon and brown sugar rub and Sweet Baby Rays Hickory and brown sugar sauce.
It perfect in tenderness, juiciness and flavor.
Thank you!
Awesome! Glad they turned out!
Dude. They look awesome! Thanks for the tips.
Thanks for watching
For fall off the bone, bake at 275 for 4 hrs.
Or ribs wrapped all the way up at 350 for 3 hours.
Would it be dry?
@@stevenagood1159 Nope Perfect! Low and slow alwys win with ribs!
I was a bit skeptical about 2 hours at 350, expecting dry AF ribs, but your instructions were spot on. Meat fell right of the bone, juicy and tender 👍🏻 🐷
Heck yeah!
Fantastic. Thanks.
Awesome! Glad to hear they were good! I love this recipe because of its simplicity.
Just made these today they’re excellent everyone enjoyed 9/10
9/10 is that my score? Or the date? Lol
2 years! And this is still the best video for oven ribs
Wow, thanks!
350 degrees baby 🔥🔥🔥
Go for it 👍 350 degrees for 2 hours. 1 hour one side and another hour on the other side 👌
This is the recipe I’ve been waiting for to make ribs in the oven go up a notch. Thank you 🙏🏽🍽
Did you give them a try?
@@AndersonsSmokeShow They we’re amazing, so good 👍🏽💯
Glad to hear that! Thanks for the feedback!
I just made these today and they were fire!! Frst time ever making ribs. Thank you
Awesomeness!!!
people this is the easiest baby back rib recipe ever, I made these this weekend and they were so perfect and tasty, serious, this is the best recipe video I have seen in a very long time. Do exactly as instructed. Thank you sir for this video, very good job. Thanks again.
Glad you enjoyed them!
I tried your oven recipe for the first time today. I was set to try a much more complicated oven ribs recipe, but decided to try yours because it is MUCH easier.
They turned out PERFECTLY! SO tasty and I love that char! SUBSCRIBED!! 😋
Glad you enjoyed!
This was definitely easy! I will definitely be trying this later this week. Thank you!!!
Thanks for dialing this in - I just cooked up a big rack-
They are soon to be served- they look incredible and taste better.
Thank you!
This was my first time cooking ribs in the oven and I gotta say they turned out better than expected. Next time I'm going to lower my broil time to maybe one or two minutes because it really charred up my sauce but overall would make again. You earned a subscriber from me!
Served this up for my mother’s birthday dinner and she was super excited just watching the process, end results were even better. Thank you, man 👌🏽
Awesome! Glad to hear that everyone enjoyed them!
Made these tonight & OMG, they were AH-MAZ-ING!! Thank You soo much! Made my own ribs rub & used Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce. Tasted like more! Will definitely be making these again soon. Happy Holidays to you 🎄 ⭐️ 💫
SBR's Sweet & Spicy is the 💩
There's never a bad time to have some ribs. Those look awesome! 🔥🔥🔥
Heck yeah man! Thanks for watching!
I live in apartment so I don't have the luxury of a grill. I followed your other video for spare ribs in the oven. I followed it to a t and they came out great. I now have a rack of baby back ribs in the oven following your video and they look great so far! Fan from Cincinnati.
O H - I O🙌🏼
Heck yeah!!!
I just made them for my family and they absolutely loved them! Thank you so much for sharing this cooking method, I just subscribed to your channel 👍🏻
Glad everyone liked them! Thanks for the support!
I’m doing this exact recipe except 275 and wrapped in foil so I guess I’ll see how long it takes
This is literally my go to when I cook ribs in the oven. Great video! (I've watched it like 1200 times) 😂
Heck yeah!
Made these today. Came out OUTSTANDING! Thank you man. Only thing I changed was mustard instead of Olive
oil. Didn’t have any so mustard worked wonders. Added flavor too. Oven ribs at its finest. Thanks again
Brother!
Great job!
Breakfast? Sunny side egg?....on top of your ribs? WTF?
Lifesaver. Long story short roofers kept me from my barbecue and I had three racks… This saved the day. Super tender. Went to cut them and they just pulled apart. delicious.
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed
These are the best oven ribs I've ever made! I would use avocado oil instead though because its got a much higher smoke point, but it doesn't matter much with a recipe like this, where the oil is just used as a binder. Thank you!
Your way has been my way ever since I saw your video..THANK YOU
Great teaching easy & understanding step by step..I like the fact that you only spoke about the recipe ( not what grandma did when you were a kid ..Great Job
