Love the design of this cart! That dowel storage is genius. Much more elegant than my concrete tube and plywood bottom solution, ha! - Joe

Good build. I like your thought process on why you made it the way you did

@fangerwoodworking very clever! I particularly like the ends.
Ya know...when you lined up your lumber cart and plywood handler...it almost looked like a "handshake"...I wonder if there's a way to combine them.
Also...I watched your plywood handler video...I think it's great you are using it as an infeed table! That being said...perhaps you can add pvc tubes over dowels to act as rollers to reduce friction.

I like the roller idea for the cart. I was thinking of trying those roller balls used in a lot of commercial applications. They just screw on and they roll in any direction which could help when feeding.

@@fangerwoodworking roller balls are a better idea! Thanks for another tip!

Great video. I have a cart a trash can and a shelf, if it doesn't fit there it gets burned!

Thank you! Part of this design was to limit what I can save to force myself to throw tiny scraps in the burn bins.

@Fanger Woodworking ... I like this design. Because I have built one of a different design, and after using it for a while, think this one incorporates the various types of "scraps" I typically produce and save. But ... I either need to build a one much bigger ... or ... become more disciplined about what I save ... like @kenCharlesTheGreat mentioned below. :)

Thank you! It’s always easier to come up with a design when I’m cleaning up a mess or solving a problem I consistently face. I typically throw short pieces in those plastic bins to use as camping firewood so this design helps me decide what’s worth keeping or what goes in a burn pile.
