There is a blue Libertad path in the middle of the lower area of the city leading directly north to the Torre del Leon (capitol building). You have to go through the sewer but when you emerge, you are directly behind the tower. It’s an open square, and you can access the first floor of the tower (there’s a special weapon crate in the back room behind the room with the statue of Anton). But in those inner city zones, you’ll face constantly-spawning waves of special forces if you’re detected.
Every time I follow one of those paths into the inner city zones, special forces are usually already hunting me, whether I’ve been detected or not. Look for blue Libertad graffiti to direct you to escape routes. There’s even a safe zone in there somewhere.
Found this by happy accident! I went to fly in using the hover craft and went to the closest spot before anti aircraft. Well it blew me away even though I was on the water, but I see a flood control tunnel and had to follow it. Couldn't believe I could get to the tower. Very disappointed I couldn't get on the elevators not were there stairs. Fought for a long time to see if I could get something but I didn't. Thought maybe grappling hook but nothing. It was still cool though
There is a grapple hook...ones u get inside building....walk through right side path..and look up...but it will only show hook option...u need to find where to hook from@@DK-mt1xw
Honestly ubisoft should just put a side mission in esperanza too open up the whole city and just cruize through the streets in our cars that would be cool and actualy fill it with interactive people and shops
I managed to get into the city by accident. I was swimming threw a tunnel and then I jumped up onto some rocks and then I fell into this glitched spot that was in water and I couldn’t go back up. So I swam under for a min and then I fell off the map and then my screen went black and I thought I disconnected. But then it loaded me to where u first start in the game.

Get the fire back pack double jump and use it at the same time as the perk it will increase the distance in the video your off by a few frames give it a try and show us.
Fun fact: if you do the early ending when you escape the revolution, when you skip the credits it takes you to the capital, but you can’t confront Castillo but you can get in the capital building but only the first floor

When I made it to the main land, I went straight to the highest ranking area (Obviously Esperanza) and at Rank 3 against Rank 8 enemies, it honestly wasn’t as difficult (was still brutal) but once I found some loot within the area they were a joke. To be fair I am playing on Action Difficulty, the fact that the ranks that show red (or a skull if your Rank 3 or below) are probably a good reason if your playing Gurreilia mode.
There should be a game mechanic where you can trick the military in Esperanza where you can fly safely by flying military aircraft. It’s works well on paper: fly military aircraft, military thinks you are one of them, and they just leave you alone, but in this game, even if you were to fly a military aircraft in Esperanza, you would be threatened to land immediately or have you aircraft and yourself killed which doesn’t make sense. Maybe the military can see your face or are really smart. I have no idea why for some reason, even though the rest of Yara is liberated, the city of Esperanza still isn’t liberated cuz of some hidden AA cannon.
Over a year ago I gave up on this last mission to get to the capitol building and started playing Assasin’s creed. But now I a k back and determined to find my way in, been trying since yesterday and I just keep failing hahaha. Pleasantly annoying mission. Will keep on trying
I was just roming around while hiding from troops vehicle....there is a sewer ...I just wanted to visit my place where game started...i actually went there...nothing was changed not cut scene nothing....then I didn't go back in the sewer where I came from....I tried different path...and actually found another sewer which directly opens to the main building.......I will tell u in detail if u want ....but u won't find nothing...even if u kill all the guards ....
You can actually get to the tower. You used a different sewer path that doesn’t actually take you in. There should be one right in the south and you just have to follow it until you get there but any other way does not work as far as I’m aware.
I managed to do this but if ur tryna kill Castillo u can’t his building is protected by all kinds of troops and even if u get past then his tower is cornered off by walls that won’t be roved until final mission and u can’t break the walls
I was loving this game until I ended up in the last mission way before it was supposed to happen and with most of the map undiscovered. I had to cancel everything and start from the beginning fuvking Christ
You can make it too the tower the second u touch main land. I literally did that. You just can’t get in the tower though so still “No, you can’t meet Castillo early at the tower.

Well they do ask who you are, military pilots likely have identification codes which obviously you don't have.

You can actually get to the tower. You used a different sewer path that doesn’t actually take you in. There should be one right in the south and you just have to follow it until you get there but any other way does not work as far as I’m aware.

I was fake teleported to the beginning balcony of the game after respawning from a death before even doing the Juan Mission
Actually you can get into the capital through a tunnel before you finish the game but you can't kill them
