Just did this on ps4 and it disappeared on me 3rd try. I wonder if I need to disconnect from internet and remove an update? Anyone else having trouble?

Yes because if you finish the mission, the money won't spawn again.

Hmm, Interesting. I was able to do it for 8ish times, and didn't see the key disappear yet. Perhaps the game recognized what you were doing? Lol
