Poison gun is good for crowd control if you don't care about Stealth. Just use the upgrade to make the gas projectile. Shoot one or two times, the enemes in the entire camp will kill themselves. Work very well in story missions too.
I'm a huge fan of the Bliss Rifle. I don't use poison often, but the underbarrel grenade launcher is a great way to soften a number of enemies without wasting a slot on situational ammo. (I rarely bother with switching ammo types--it just takes too long to cycle through them)
Finished the game, barely used Resolver weapons and Supremo backpacks. I cleared 1 base with La Varita and it's corresponding backpack and that's all I ever did with Resolver weapons. For the Supremo backpacks I used the rocket launcher a few times in the beginning of the game but after that I never really used any of them. They are not needed as the game is hardly a challenge which is my major flaw with this game. However, for the SpecOps I do find them usefull, mainly the healing one.
Lol okay I’m in a similar boat too, been playing this a lot, almost at lvl 8 now, and I never touched the rocket supremos. I just bought the medic one as soon as I got that and have used it maybe 3 times in total?? It gives a nice damage resistance
They definitely need to buff a lot of these guns in different ways to make them feel much better for those not near the top, in addition, just rework some mods that aren't as effective or feel more like a hindrance. La Varita's round upgrade that leave pools of fire on the ground feels like it causes more trouble then it helps at times, feels like it needs a better ability like having headshot kills ricochet a bullet to the nearest enemy for an additional headshot kill. Other then that, more mod slots would be nice too to further improve each weapon's utility and just having more resolver weapons in the future in general would be great too.
for a game that repeatedly says "use the right tool for the job", its strange that there's no loadout switcher 5 mo edit: yes im aware this is in the game now
You can switch your loadout in the field at any time. If you need to equip a rocket launcher, you can go to Map, then Arsenal, then change the weapon in one of your weapon slots to whatever you want to use that is not equiped. The only thing you cant do is change the gun to having armor piercing rounds if it doesn't as that needs to be done at a workbench, You can change Supremo also, while out in battle.
@@gamersanonymous4me131 yes, i think everyone knows this, but it's tedious. im referring to a loadout switcher, which is a system that enables you to save entire loadouts (weapons, gear, supremo) and switch between them with a single button press in the arsenal. AC Odyssey did it, it's very simple

I figured you were talking about complete loadouts for specific tasks like Stealth, Rambo, etc. But for me its just as easy to add a rocket launcher when needed or whatever weapons would be helpful. Yup.. Once you put heatseeking rockets in it becomes way better than a lock on rocket lancher as it has 27 rockets that do considerable damage. Its my absolute must resolver weapon.
Los Bandidos Ops really need a mobile app. its a no-brainer. most ppl (including me) cant be in front of their console everytime an op is ready, especially when there's no way to know without taking several minutes just to get to that screen. a mobile app would be so low-effort on ubisoft's part. use uplay to link the game to the app. the UI is basically already there. notifications would be a god-send. simple and easy, come on! edit: an auto-assign feature would also be nice, matching leaders with skill requirements and prioritizing ops by expiration
Agreed! I can't believe they didn't think about this before. Back then I remember they did have a mobile app for FC4, the one where you can get the arena ranking or something. So this wouldn't even be a new thing for them to make.
Its a demon weapon your suppose to use your regular other weapons until your demon magic is filled up activate triador and you have infinite ammo than use it once the magic stops use regular weapons again

the special weapon u get when u have the stealth supremo and the triad kit is one of the best. Activate the ability and u can shoot and see enemies thriugh walls meaning u can take out heli pilots so easily with one shot
Of course you can use La Clavadora against animals, it's how I was one-shotting alligators early game, also it has the bonus of not damaging the meat. It's a fairly decent stealth weapon that takes most enemies down in one hit, but yeah, it's pretty useless if going against vehicles or multiple enemies.
the la sorpresa can take out any helicopter from almost any range with 1 shot, using the single shot all you have to do is hit the glass near the pilot and it will kill him without having to blow up the heli
In my opinion La Clavadora's best use is as a long-range bait launcher. Sadly, enemies in outposts seem to trigger alarms in response to aggressive animals now, so the usefulness of this feature is limited significantly
Guys dont sleep on el basito or poison weapons. If you sit there trying to kill enemies with it youre wasting your time. You need to run around shooting short bursts at enemies making them fight each other. Just sit back and watch the fireworks, then take care of the last one standing
I would love a loadout switcher espec for spec ops. Like one loadout to run with the thing (with parkour set) and other to fight (with damage reducing clothing and stuff)
Yeah, that would be hella useful. Having to switch up your weapons/cosmetics manually is tedious, and that’s why I made my best attempt at a “Jack of all trades” load out - it became to tedious and mind-numbing to constantly switch between weapons and cosmetics for specific situations.
The el Muro is great combined with the fuego supreme ability. You can zip around the battlefield easy and in between boosts the shield gives you protection so you can make more aggressive dashes through enemies
El Bestio is hilarious if you max it out and then get a vantage point in a base... Then rain your red wrath upon the enemies, and as they fight amongst each other, they're also dying of Covid.
My favourite is the Zeusito, you have to supplement it with a shotgun maybe some C4 or a rocket launcher but the ability to take out helicopters and tanks for a moment is invaluable. I usually destroy any and all vehicles I see and switching to a shotgun after and wiping out any drivers or pilots and then using some C4 or dynamite to destroy the cluster at one time is a great way to level up quickly albeit at the expense of speed but I was level 18 by the time I got around to the Esperanza missions. Now that I am at the insurgency part of the game I will experiment with the other resolver weapons.
You didn’t mention my favorite aspect and the only reason I use Discos locos when going stealth, when you upgrade it and wind it up it will play la Macarena 🕺
El pequeno is the best one, having a plethora of ammo as well as having blast and incendiary rounds, allows it, to take care of planes, helos, vehicles, and low armor enemies, honestly putting armor piercing on it, makes it worse,
Though I see the benefits to pyrotechno I struggle to see reson to purchasing it over using the base supremo. Plus the use of base supremo leave weapon slots open for more weapons including resolver arms. Just saying.
Bruh El Bestido is not useless, the projectile mode (which you did not even mention) sends out a massive cloud that expands on impact and turns enemies against each other in a large area, and you can also blow it up at will with fire ammo / gadget.
poison can also be used to have enemy's go delirious, and attack their ally's (i use it to make them fight away from an objective, only to pick them off from as they're infighting)
I stopped using El Sussuro as soon as I bought Western Front from Lola, put a suppressor and a large sniper scope on it to kill enemies from a distance. That’s my main build every time I get a Far Cry game. A long range combat weapon (preferably an assault rifle), a short range combat weapon like a shotgun or SMG, a suppressed sniper rifle and a suppressed pistol with a scope or reflex sight. Always works.
Literally same dude sometimes I switch out the sniper rifle for a bow and take em out that way just cause I'm a huge far cry 3 fan and I remember being a teenager slaying with the bow in far cry 3

Best #1 weapons in my opinion #1 La varita as long as triador demon magic is on to shoot all enemys through walls in very hard tight surving situations #2 the sink or swim lmg silencer is good for accuracy strongest weapon but 2nd strongest to mini gun #2 is mini gun #3 silence lmg sink or swim version #4 iron curtain the silence sub machine great accuarcy for running shooting all enemys fast and quiet but needs to do alot more damage and they need to allow it to be equipped with a scope i would really say number 1 strongest weapon in game is rambo arrow that has explosive arrows to blow up tanks and helis if your not a gun type of person and the emp arrows are highly usefull both use up same ammo tho
my loadout is the sks for stealth as easy silenced headshots, nethershot for attack which is so cool and so good and the vengeance bow which is just great for anything and 1 shot takes down a heli. and then just a silenced pistol too
The new update including the new pg240x is bugged for me, I can't switch weapons over the wheel. Some Dialoge is missing and some enemies are invisible.
Ya, I can't believe they didn't add the 2nd to the Top Elite "Disk Launcher" from New Dawn... That thing was so FUN, the one in which the disks bounce around killing multiples.
Honestly, I never used Resolver weapons. I got the Fire Shotgun and the Min-Max AK from Ubisoft Connect. Those got me through a huge chunk of the game. Also a Bow. It’s not Far Cry without a Bow
definitely wrong about the gas gun upgraded the cloud size and then just shoot clouds into a base i Clear entire bases by doing nothing but pumping the base full of gas clouds
I only used the resolver weapons 2 times the whole game the first time was the mission where you have to burn all the plants and the second t8me was for the stranger things reference also have a good day
I actually like using the La Varita even without the corresponding Supremo. It has insane damage. I’m playing on action mode and it one shots every enemy but the special forces. Other than that my favorite so far is the El Muro. Still have a few to unlock though.
the thing i kinda hate about far cry 6 is that they nerf ammo capacity and equitment capacity. Also the change throwing rock to baseball which can carry only 4 ball
El Besito is a fave of mine, maybe my favorite. You need to use it the right way. Whats the right way? Upgrade it fully and use it in conjunction with a throwable. Molotov, pipe bomb, grenade, whatever. With the gadget buff from La Cantina that allows us to carry more throwables it aces👍Also using it with La Sorpresa is a blast. Literally. Just fire a blast of poison and a cluster round from La Sorpresa right behind it. The vid shows what happens when mixed with fire if your being attacked. Works the same for attacking😉Lots of fun and effective. I also find it good for disabling large groups of enemies in a pinch or sneaking up on them. Just blast the poison, lob a throwable and enjoy the kaboom🙂I like the fully upgraded El Tostador. Best flamethrower of any FC game. Never used one before, really. This one changed that for me.
Pyrotechno is my favorite resolver weapon, the others just suck. I've been using La Varita just because I wanted to get some use out of it after having spent the time to get it.
Do you ever notice people talking about suppressed snipers as though it's their PHD thesis for Far Cry tactics? Oh really? A silent long range weapon is useful in a stealth game? Hell, you should know the atmosphere is mostly nitrogen (but we breath it for the oxygen bits), gravity is 9.8m/s (roughly), the sky is blue and it also rains sometimes. Heads-up champ, that water falling from the sky is wet. Welcome to Earth. It rounds down to "this game is easy if you take every possible method of reducing the difficulty." Somewhere, someone is telling a famous detective about their shortage of manure.
I actually love poison in this game. I am not super far into it yet but I put poison ammo on a pistol and its great. Damage over time is okay but its great for so many other things. Shoot a dog, its health is basically 0. Shoot people, they attack their enemys. Typically I just shoot things once and sick my amigo on them, it makes leveling them way easier. anytime you get overwhelmed just shoot things once it poisons and stuns them. you can run away, let your amigo do the work, swap to another weapon to kill them before they are shooting again....hell i shoot them once and melee them to death. Saves a ton of ammo.
@@arthurneddysmith solid point. however you can still kill about everything with a single poison bullet. so if you don't care about ammo, maybe you just care about the fact it just works. plus the poison bullet on a pistol makes doing any of the amigo challenges way easier. poison everyone and let the amigo do work. but you are already done with that anyway im sure. poison supremeo is also just fun.

I found that the biggest issue for Resolver weapons is that you can't loot more ammo easily when out there in a fight.
I know I’m late to the party but you can summon your car and get ammo from the trunk after fights

The flame weapons are good for setting traps and if you light foliage down wind..... Just experiment they have there uses,.. in old one for sure

Add a Pistol which has Reloading this weapon reloads all weapons and you’ll be unstoppable

I pretty much mained the El Muro with slugs for any loud encounter. Stupidly big revolvers are just too much fun

The new update including the new pg240x is bugged for me, I can't switch weapons over the wheel. Some Dialoge is missing and some enemies are invisible.

my favorite thing is to do is take out the alarms, gas bomb the camp with El Besito then sit back while chaos ensues.

Ya, I can't believe they didn't add the 2nd to the Top Elite "Disk Launcher" from New Dawn... That thing was so FUN, the one in which the disks bounce around killing multiples.
The el muro was my second resolver weapon, early game was easy as hell for me

Honestly, I never used Resolver weapons. I got the Fire Shotgun and the Min-Max AK from Ubisoft Connect. Those got me through a huge chunk of the game. Also a Bow. It’s not Far Cry without a Bow
Only place I've seen Pyrotechno at #1, most don't even list it yet its the best vehicle killer in game by far which is pretty crucial
A bow with emp arrows is way more effective. You can steal the vehicle.

I think La Varita is the best resolver even without the supremo it’s still the best in my opinion
Favorite resolvers are the el Muro and the pyrotechno it’s unfortunate that the spas overpowers the muro cause of how weak it is

definitely wrong about the gas gun upgraded the cloud size and then just shoot clouds into a base i Clear entire bases by doing nothing but pumping the base full of gas clouds

the nail gun, shotgun pistol /shield, explosive sniper, fireworks launcher are pretty awesome. the rest are kinda just gimmicky

The nail guns sight is pretty bad and u don’t need to waste a main weapon slot on a stealth weapon when you’ve got a sidearm slot just for that IMO
La Varita is THE best gun in the game. It one shots majority of enemies on a body shot, and armored enemies on a chest or higher shot
I've been using the nailgun and it's very very good for stealth or not.
Practically the only gun I used both times I played this on hard difficulty super easy headshots
I only used the resolver weapons 2 times the whole game the first time was the mission where you have to burn all the plants and the second t8me was for the stranger things reference also have a good day
My favorite resolver weapon is the crossbow because the enemies get launched so far
I actually like using the La Varita even without the corresponding Supremo. It has insane damage. I’m playing on action mode and it one shots every enemy but the special forces. Other than that my favorite so far is the El Muro. Still have a few to unlock though.

the thing i kinda hate about far cry 6 is that they nerf ammo capacity and equitment capacity. Also the change throwing rock to baseball which can carry only 4 ball

El Besito is a fave of mine, maybe my favorite. You need to use it the right way. Whats the right way? Upgrade it fully and use it in conjunction with a throwable. Molotov, pipe bomb, grenade, whatever. With the gadget buff from La Cantina that allows us to carry more throwables it aces👍Also using it with La Sorpresa is a blast. Literally. Just fire a blast of poison and a cluster round from La Sorpresa right behind it. The vid shows what happens when mixed with fire if your being attacked. Works the same for attacking😉Lots of fun and effective. I also find it good for disabling large groups of enemies in a pinch or sneaking up on them. Just blast the poison, lob a throwable and enjoy the kaboom🙂I like the fully upgraded El Tostador. Best flamethrower of any FC game. Never used one before, really. This one changed that for me.
Use the Poison Weapon to spread a poison cloud, then toss a molotov cocktail in the cloud and ignite it
My favorite resolver weapons are non resolver weapons. I haven't used any besides the flamethrower in the plant burning missions.
Pyrotechno is my favorite resolver weapon, the others just suck. I've been using La Varita just because I wanted to get some use out of it after having spent the time to get it.

Oh really? A silent long range weapon is useful in a stealth game? Hell, you should know the atmosphere is mostly nitrogen (but we breath it for the oxygen bits), gravity is 9.8m/s (roughly), the sky is blue and it also rains sometimes.

deadass thought the number one weapon was just firework with no damage. I'm very new to this game and have not tried everything lol
I actually love poison in this game. I am not super far into it yet but I put poison ammo on a pistol and its great. Damage over time is okay but its great for so many other things. Shoot a dog, its health is basically 0. Shoot people, they attack their enemys. Typically I just shoot things once and sick my amigo on them, it makes leveling them way easier. anytime you get overwhelmed just shoot things once it poisons and stuns them. you can run away, let your amigo do the work, swap to another weapon to kill them before they are shooting again....hell i shoot them once and melee them to death. Saves a ton of ammo.
Who cares about ammo when you can get full ammo in any camp?
@@arthurneddysmith solid point. however you can still kill about everything with a single poison bullet. so if you don't care about ammo, maybe you just care about the fact it just works. plus the poison bullet on a pistol makes doing any of the amigo challenges way easier. poison everyone and let the amigo do work. but you are already done with that anyway im sure. poison supremeo is also just fun.
