This is the second best game in the series in my opinion (4 is first).

Sorry the terrorist degenerates didnt get to brainwash that poor boy, he got a mercifull death instead
7:10 the way he just says that so casually shows what an amazing character ubisoft have created
Once again a farcry game where id like to play as the enemy.
Lemme guess, SJW commie protagonists who pretend to be the “resistance” in this one?
@@dogestranding5047 yupp
@@dogestranding5047 Nothing in the writing or story describes Libertad as communist lol. If anything Castillo is the communist dictator how he makes people work in state sponsored labor. He reminds me of a blend between Bautista and Castro together tbh
You do , you play as unhinged psychopaths who dismantle the government and take control of a country they don’t know how to lead
They even acknowledge, people will die , people will lose their jobs , people will starve and riots will happen and a civil war could even be caused
@Mister Majestic name a country where communism has worked successfully to this day and isn’t a massive shithole ?
I’ll wait
You know, out of all the Far Cry Villains, Anton Castillo has got to be the most fashionable, whenever I saw on screen I always thought "Man, I want that suit!"
Bro that speech with anton and his son at the final death was cruel when he squeezed his son's hand with the badge in it
Even though you can fight the bosses in any order, to me in canon it looks like you take out Maria / El Doctor last as that's the first real sign you get of Anton being sick; it doesn't show with either Mackay or Jose's deaths.
It is, it goes Jose, Admiral Benitez, McKay, Maria then Reyes.
what great comedic timing, as soon as Jose blew up I had a 5 sec ad lmao
The reaction to marias death is the best, it's played so well
When he said that we killed Diego’s mother I thought there was going to be a twist that his real mother died the same time we killed Maria cuz Diego didn’t really resemble her.
Diego seems to have more of anton's genetics
I can't help but like Anton Castillo.
"Go on, backpack. Go join the fiesta back in the-"
*NO*
It’s unfortunate they killed his dad. He seemed like a positive influence
Considering South America's track record with dictators and revolutions, we can pretty much say for certain that Yara is still fucked up either way.
Giancarlo Esposito is one of those actors that just eats up the scene that he's in. I've loved his acting in everything that I've seen him in: The Mandalorian, The Boys, Once Upon a Time, Revolution, Breaking Bad... loved them all.
Dam el tigre was my fav character in the game honestly i got sad on what happened w him
I really like that he was more upset at being disrespected than actually dying.
far cry 6 would be better if we could play as antons soldiers.
Would love it if we got to kill José anyway and become the new General. Lions eat the lambs, afterall
and sneaking around , taking all sorts of things around the yara map, killing random guerrillas ? it doesn't sound good honestly.
There’s no way that’ll fly with media outlets who’ve never picked up a controller in their lives complaining that the game was “right-wing propaganda about suppressing a movement of freedom fighters”.
I, for one, loved Far Cry 6. Anton was well written and compelling, he really sold the game for me, but Dani, in my opinion, is a top 3 protagonist (Her, Ajay and Jason in no particular order). I actually felt compelled by a lot of the substories, and I loved the approach of Libertad using other factions as weapons to achieve their goal. The ending was satisfying. This is the second best game in the series in my opinion (4 is first).
Imo 5 is best, 3 is worst, and 4 is the weird middle child, while 6 is a whole new franchise

Vaas fought with his mind games and intimidation factor. Pagan fought with his sick, twisted, sadistic torture methods to hold Kyrat. The twins fought with ruthlessness and 0 mercy towards anyone outside the Highwaymen. But Anton was the first to use his Charisma to his advantage
Would you not sat that Joseph also had Charisma on his side? He built up a loyal vult of followers in 5 who were ready and willing to die for him
@@an-animal-lover true, but Joseph himself never actually screwed with your mind, his family did one by one. Where as Vaas himself was always at the head of the front when it came to trying to bring down Jason. But I would still pass Joseph bc 5 was one of my favorite farcry games. And Anton, even in some of his final speeches, was able to tell his failing army they still had a shot and his tattered forces still believed him. Kind of reminds me of Hitler in a way, who gave his own final speech to his destroyed army and ruined people in February of 1945.
Got to admit I’m rooting for Anton
I was until he killed el tigre
@@BrickEat literally. El Tigre was one of my favorites. When he died I was like "goddammit, at least Jonron or whoever-the-fuck also died but still" Then at the end of the game, Diego, my other favorite character, also diedof course. I guess I'm not allowed nice things.
Seriously though why couldn't the Maximas Mantanzas twins have died instead of El Tigre? Fuck those two
@@BrickEat El tigre was my favorite side character. As for Anton he had good intentions but as the saying goes. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. He went about a lot of things the wrong way.
The thing about grenades is they use a heating process so that guy would not have been able to save himself from that his mouth is already melted
these cutscenes makes me wanna vote for him actually
you wouldn't vote a guy who let his army slaughtering people, imposing rigid rules and pretending to have a cure for the cancer without actually giving it for you
so i guess you are easly conned
1:29 the shrapnel didn’t hurt them? I’d imagine that at least the skull fragments would hit them. Idk
He is a great character! Just hoped the other ones would have been too…
Yep almost everyone here is boring
They spent their entire budget on writing Anton's character
What about Diego?
3:52 robocop reference
7:01 Anton's gide into how to traumatice your 13 year old son
He was also traumatized

I’m not even a story buff like that but the symbolism of the the kid with the pendant at the end of the video really says a lot
Actually glad he didn't go all Gus Fring on his performance with this character. It shows his ability to play a very similar character in a different way and still make both memorable and entertaining on their own. Very impressive actor, Giancarlo Esposito is.
First boss: Pinochet
Second boss: US propaganda machine
Third boss: Himmler (experimented on Jews for Hitler)
Fourth boss: Mussolini (he was also hanged upside-down by the Italian people)
Fifth Boss: Literally the USA
Last boss: Antón is Batista
P sure it was Mengele experimenting
Fifth he was Canadian
go outside and touch some grass
Nananana a, Pinochet was way better than that
@@realskhk I do, unlike you.
11:25 El tigre basically says the entire point of the game in this line.
1:56 the way anton says "mi papa had a saying" with a calm tone, then *"GOD* gives victory to the lions." Which in my opinion it's funny.
LOL at the gamer who still killed the fake doctor while the obviously real one was shooting him at point blank range. Genius gameplay right there.
the maria one caught me completely off guard and had me speechless
Giancarlo Esposito’s character is the only thing that makes this game worth it. The graphics are pretty poor. Wolfenstien new order has better graphics than this, and it came out in 2014.
Pretty sure they weren’t aiming for graphics
Is there a point to your prattling?
Okay virgin go play last of us part 2
Well what platform are you playing on? I play on ps5 and the game looks beautiful. I will say it seems they rendered down the graphics of some characters though.
@@BeastBoy557 Then they should. Bad graphics break immersion, it's a lame excuse
Secret Boss fight: Hector Salamanca
🛎️🛎️🛎️
The last boss literally took a magnum shot to the head and didnt die
Maria one was heart breaking
Holy crap, Gustavo has come a long way from Los Pollos Hermanos
Bro was also in the empire
At this point the writers should make an entire Far Cry game about being the Dictator, king, etc and stopping the revolution that is only destroying your country
Yeah, when do we get to play as the bad guy? It’s not like all “good guys” are actually good.
Shadow of war moment
I really wished that you could do that in Far Cry 4 with Pagan Min.
To be honest I felt bad for Jose he thought Anton loved him but he didn’t
jesus, that 2nd reaction scene was crazy
Outstanding villain, wished there would be more content with him
Anton and Diego are such well built villains, holy shit I just love them so much
Is it just me or the graphics look worse than previous far cry games
I was just gonna say that. They look garbage. Idk of it’s just what this guy is playing this off of
Pretty much everything is inferior to the previous game.
It's Ubisoft, what do you expect?
It's only the cutscenes for me
@@johnb.d oh hush
13:05 I can’t say more
8:51 Who tf was playing? The real one is clearly shooting them and has an icon over their head, and the person is shooting the hallucinations still.
6:12 who else got anxiety when he was playing the record player At first I thought it was only you
Yeah, I thought he would trash the room
Giancarlo did such a great job, once again. One of the best current actors to do the villain role.
Poor Anton. Can't catch a break.
You’re sympathising with a fascist?
@@louissykes2406 I am empathizing with him. It is different. Besides, he is a fictional character, so no need to make a big deal out of it.
I can't believe Gustavo got his own game!
Nice to know the main villain in far cry 6 is also one of the main villains in the boys
Everybody gangsta until Jose's ghost haunts Anton for vandalizing his grave
@Antón Castillo arent you suppose to be dead?
14:11 this guy is a legend
“LION THIS, LION THAT, WHAT THE FUCK IS A YARAN”
He's such a good actor.
Imagine Jose was able to pull the grenade out of his mouth and just threw it at them. The game would be over lmao
14:03 here we see the revolutionaries are so in fear of Castillo they would even murder an innocent child for sharing his name. You can never really be on the right side in a Far Cry game. Rebels or tyrants, both are merciless and callous in their cruelty.
Diego deserved better. Only Dani and Lita saw him for what he is: a child. All the other revolutionaries only saw him as a tyrant's spawn.
after watching multiple videos, i am finally embarassed to admit i have never played a far cry game.
Dr. Reyes is literally another Faith Seed especially the fights and disappearing in smokes
