Euro bro here. I'm taking my motorcycle license this year, probably gonna have it by the start of June. My question is, when will us euros be able to enter the raffle?
I just bought one yesterday and like the true squidlet I am I got the DCT. As a brand new rider I can’t say how much it’s helping with my comfortability in learning how to ride. I know papa yams might not be proud of my choice but I think it’s awesome and the gear changes feel great. As for power, the engine can be put in 3 different modes. A sport, standard and rain mode with a bonus 4th mode that can be customized on settings. The rain mode (which is all I’ve kept it in) put the power output to around the rebel 300 level meaning throttle control is not intimidating but it’s still plenty reactive. Honestly I’m so happy with my purchase and to whoever wins this, you’re getting a great bike
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MORE VIDEOS ON THE 1100!!!!!!!!! had mine for just over a month and I love it. 54 yrs old and loving this cruiser. Its got zip, style, and attitude. my only wish was that it was configured for a little taller rider. I'm 6'1 and feel just a bit cramped. Also, love that it has the DCT option for us older lazy gents. It's exactly the reason I bought this bike. Kudos!!!!!
I have the Rebel 1100DCT. I love the bike and I am glad to finally see it on your channel. The dual clutch transmission adds to the cruising aspect in my opinion and really lets you take your mind off of everything and just cruise! Can't wait to see the riding videos!

Had a Harley bro tell me I had a nice bike when I stopped at a gas station outside New Orleans. Told him it was the new 1100, he said, “That’s a Rebel?”
Well, he had a Harley strapped down in the trailer of his truck and was wearing Harley brand gear... also, I’m sure he didn’t think it was a Harley. I think he was just shocked at how good it looked.
I just bought this as my first bike, and I love it so far, especially with the dct. The dealer didn't even know it was on the showroom floor when I sat on it, so I got pretty lucky with getting one already.
Congrats!! I love the 1100. I'm a new rider (with no bike yet). Are you a new rider? If so, how do you feel about the 1100 as a new rider. I'm a little disappointed when I hear folks say that the 1100 is not a good choice for a new rider, but I also hear others say "buy what u want (within reason), but just respect the power of the machine, practice, practice, practice, take it slow. etc." I'm interested to hear a very brief summary of your opinion on this.
I just bought my 1100 two weeks ago and honestly it has been the most fun I've had on two wheels in years it cruises, it handles and when you want it to it can really get to it in sport mode.
Good engine, decent suspension setup to save your spine, and good lean angle to keep pace with the fast bois... This is the only low-spec cruiser I can, in good conscience, recommend to someone.
This Rebel looks like a truly nice “upgrade” to replace my SV 650. Probably not this year though. There are a lot of bikes on the market that are either uninteresting because they don’t offer much more than what I already have, or they just offer “too much” of everything (which includes a rather beefy price tag). The Rebel 1100 looks like the sweet spot for me.
Spite dressed up looked like the metrosexual version of Walker, Texas Ranger. The Rebel 1100 gets generally good reviews and is supposed to be a very nice bike to ride. I think overall this was a great purchase.
Can confirm this is one FANTASTIC looking bike in person. I saw one in this exact spec a few days ago and damn the attention to detail is freakin great and it has some great presence to it! Can't wait to see what the other colors look like too, if I were to get one I'd definitely get the black it looks so amazing
Hi Yammie Noob From AUS . I have been watching you for a few years and I find your opinions to be very honest .The Rebel 1100DCT ride away is 14900 USD here in Australia. I am 61 years of age and am interested in the DCT so I hope you get to take the DCT for test rides as well as the manual. In my opinion I think Honda is taking us for a ride on the price.
A Sportster is $11,000 with paint, alarm snd ABS. Honda is lighter, more horsepower, TC, ABS(both standard) driver modes, stability control cornering ABS. No stage 4 needed!
The Harley sportswriter does not get updates very often but the softail was redisigned in 2018 and it’s a great bike it’s got a better motor and rear suspension than the dyna oh there peeeeeerrrrrrrrrtttttyyyy
Mid controls on a cruiser makes sense. It's like sitting in an office chair and not out stretching your leg to handle it properly. With quick leg deployment when needed. I sat on one today but walked away cuz they wanted a new car price for it. It's a great looking bike
I have a rebel 1100 dct and its an awesome bike. Its probably a better commuter than a touring machine without some accessories added. Its capable of doing just about anything though. Not a beginner bike but for anyone else, can make of it what you will.
Its kinda crazy to hear that after all these years, Honda's main goal with the Rebel line is still to compete with the Sportster. Harley tried to sue Honda back when the OG Rebel came out in 85 because the styling was such a rip off. I know a few people that went from an OG rebel 250 to a Sporty, now there's no reason not to just graduate from a 300 or 500 Rebel to an 1100. BTW that tank cut is probably paying homage to decades of rebel tanks dented on an MSF range! 😂
You know, I know Spite is a big guy with big boned build and surprisingly the Rebel under him did not look so bad. His legs were not bent in angles that would slow bloodflow too much and prevent cruising longer trips. At least in theory. Looking forward to his driving impressions. I am a beginning driver myself with also a big, tall and heavy frame so finding a cruiser that not only is beginner approriate but also can fit my fat ass I mean big bones without getting paralyzed limbs on longer driving sessions is utmost importance.

1. Go Get those wheels powder coated bronze. 2. During the riding clips in sun, the shock tubes look like a dark blue almost. Don't know if that is a video color correction thing or if that is the color of the tubes.
For a rebel it actually looks pretty nice. Although I’m not a fan of gas tanks that sit at an angle like that. Also at this point I think you just hate the Vulcan S because you just want to hate on it! It’s an awesome bike. And that engine is solid! 😂
I got a VS because the price was right. Was looking at Scouts at the time, but they’re about twice as much used. Now seriously considering a Rebel 1100.
I love a blacked out cruiser ... no chrome. As soon as a gram of chrome goes on you need to chrome at least 10% for it to look right. That’s the problem with the CB1000R Black Edition, it looks way better in full colour than black & chrome.

Cruise control?!?! Now I want to trade in my 500. I could care less about the extra HP, but cruise control! And the improved rear shocks are pretty cool too.
You compare it to the vulcan 650 as if they are direct competitors when this bike is nearly 2 times the price? I think the Rebel 1100 is a great sportier cruiser but I don't feel that it competes directly against the vulcan.
Agreed. Also this bike puts out 30 more horsepower than the Vulcan s, which brings you from friendly beginner bike to something a more experienced rider probably won’t “outgrow”.
Honda has immutable standards. lean angles have to be at least X no matter the style of bike, transmissions have to last 100K mi at least no matter power or use, and so on.
I hated the new rebels design, I knew the rebel as a beginner bike. Seeing this 1100cc 270degree parallel twin, sub 500lb, sportster ergonomic Honda!!! I love it. So long as the torque figure is as good as the Buell 1200s I am sold. I need a pay raise. Got a new bike I want

Cruise control?!?! Now I want to trade in my 500. I could care less about the extra HP, but cruise control! And the improved rear shocks are pretty cool too.
Need an upright position bike but I hate cruisers. Getting old sucks. My back cant handle 600s anymore.
Best intro ever! My first bike might be a rebel. Probably not an 1100 though 😅
The 500 is great, I have more fun on my dad's bike than I do on my 1300 vtx
Honda has immutable standards. lean angles have to be at least X no matter the style of bike, transmissions have to last 100K mi at least no matter power or use, and so on.
I hated the new rebels design, I knew the rebel as a beginner bike. Seeing this 1100cc 270degree parallel twin, sub 500lb, sportster ergonomic Honda!!! I love it. So long as the torque figure is as good as the Buell 1200s I am sold. I need a pay raise. Got a new bike I want
Finally found out what Joe Lean looks like. I'm gonna watch every Rebel video.
