I actually have your strut rods and upper control arms just haven’t gotten around to installing them yet. Rear frame on this truck needs some attention. Gotta love Michigan 🤣
How does this system affect the ride? Did you keep the ball joints flipped? Is it stiffer? Does it rattle your teeth on regular roads? Would you recommend it for a daily driver?
Rides 10x better than it did with cut springs. The ball joint is still flipped. The Coilovers have adjustable dampening so you can set it at the softest setting and go from there with what you are wanting to do with the truck
The right advise and system. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the coil overs and springs. How low will it lower the truck without the ball joint flip?@@StreetTsukuru
I looked in the comments and I saw the part number but that corresponds with many other models of the same part. I hate to have to be spoon-fed the information but in this economy, I don't want to buy parts and have to return them. Can tell me exactly the part number for both the coil-overs and the springs. Would it be too much to ask where you ordered them from?@@StreetTsukuru
No problem, you can order both on Summit just type in the part numbers in the search bar. Springs are 8mb600 and the shocks are gs401. Don’t need to worry about what is says the vehicle is for. Just have to buy the adapter plates from MJBTACO
Well when the jack stands you’re using aren’t wide enough to be safe/sturdy on the frame rails you use the body instead of letting the truck fall on you when you’re working on it 🫡
Did you miss us? We’re happy to be back with some higher quality content.
Feels good to be back making videos again.
Look at Mini just stealing the whole show 😂
Looks good man! Cool video
Thank you!
Let me know if you want some adjustable tension rods so you can actually put some caster in that thing.

What’s that plate called ? The one that sits under the front coilover
Now remember to place the driver side higher because of the infamous "taco lean".
Yea, we will need to do some adjusting after driving it around for a week or so
Do you think 18" wheels would fit without cutting the sheet metal ?
🙌🙌
Thanks man! Trying to up our game! 👊🏻
are these g33 +15 wheels?
did you have to cut fender
What’s the part number for those coils??
Do you guys have a part number to those coilovers by chance?
The coilover is a qa1-gs401 and the spring is a 8mb600. MJB Taco/MJB Fab has the plates you’ll need to adapt them.
what does it mean to adapt them? I have limited tools.@@StreetTsukuru
I love your wheels, what are the specs and brand?
Thanks, they are SSR SP1 17x9.75 +5 in the front and 17x10.25 +10 in the rear

Roughly 3-4 inches I believe. The ball joint flip alone is about 2 inches lower.

Is the tacoma a stock 2.4?
Yes, it is a stock 2.4
You dont put the jack stands on the body, its not unibody like a car, put it on the frame.

“The weight of a people” 🤌🤌
Dude, I be dumb sometimes. 🤣
