I made these today, OMG they are so good light and fluffy and not so sweet. The only issue I had Diva said to put yeast into water temp 120-130 when I put yeast in it didn’t Blume, so I started again this time lowered temp to 110deg. It blumed within 10 mins
My motivation to march 15 min miles with a pack on my back. Prizes like these at the end of the training. Bake em up in cast iron and I feel more manly about it. ;) You rock little lady.

I gotta get up early to go fishing anyway so I may as well start a fire, get some coals and coffee going before anyone else is even thinking about getting out of bed. I do have a question on buttermilk…can I use buttermilk powder with water or milk for the buttermilk in the recipe? I don’t often purchase buttermilk often and don’t use up quickly enough, so I was thinking of having buttermilk powder in my pantry. Please help.

I made them they were extremely delicious. The dough did take a while to rise. I didn’t add the cream cheese and it was just as good!
