I've used another cinnamon roll recipe from another RUclips chef and it was a FAIL, and did not come together at all. I was at a loss...so I started searching again and watched your video more times than I dare tell. Then I decided to dive in and go for it. I have been baking rolls using your/sister's recipe for many years now. This is such a lovely recipe!! Thank you so much for your generosity. You have such a great presence, combined with a passion for baking. Love you!!
I just made this yesterday and it was my first time to bake a cinnamon bun and everyone loves it! It’s not too sweet and its so soft! Such a good recipe. Thank you so much!
I tried different recipes all these years and I never liked results. I just tried this new recipe and I loved it! the cream on the top of cinnamon rolls made them so soft and tasty. I tried the same tip with Swedish cinnamon buns and result was awesome. I don't have enough words to thank you for this recipe :3
I love it. It’s so delicious. You must try it out. I did not use bread flour. I used all purpose flour instead but the bread still came out fluffy and soft. Thank you for sharing. Best luck to you in whatever you do.
Omg. Made these yesterday and they came out sooo perfect. Usually when I’ve try making cinnamon rolls in the past, the bread portion came out too stiff/dry. Haven’t tried again for years as a result and had almost given up on any I made from scratch turning out right. These were flawlessly soft and fluffy. Perfect texture! I think the step of the cream on these really make the recipe unique and virtually foolproof for those who aren’t that great at baking, such as myself. I did end up needing to add about 1/3rd a cup to 1/2 a cup of extra flour in order to knead it without it sticking. Don’t worry if you need to do this guys! Just add JUST as much flour as you need to in order to be able to knead it without it sticking to your fingers. No more than that! Also. No problem if you don’t have loose dental floss (we use the pic flossers ). I cut mine in firm quick motions with a dough scraper. Thanks Tatyana for your amazing recipe and great instruction!
Made these again yesterday, but didn’t need to use even all the flour the recipe called for this time around....so again ( for any looking for tips), I will emphasize how important it is to just go by feel when you start using your hands with the dough and stop adding the the flour as soon as the dough is no longer sticking to your fingers .... that being said...this time I made a variation of the frosting that incorporated real maple syrup ....and sprinkled real bacon pieces/bits (like the kind you add to salad) on top...was sooo delicious! (For the maple frosting, for 3 rolls [youd need to make about 3x more if you’re making frosting for the entire recipe] I just eyeballed about 2oz of cream cheese, 1-2tb of softened butter, a dash of vanilla, 3-4TB or so of pure maple syrup, and about 3-4Tb of powdered sugar) I only baked as many rolls as I needed for one breakfast (3 rolls, that fit perfectly into a parchment lined standard loaf pan, so my family of of 3 wouldn’t end up eating the entire recipe within 2 days like last time 😂) , and the rest I placed flat on a baking tray and froze...after that placed in a ziplock bag....plan to simply thaw/rise them at room temp for a few hours as needed in the future, and a batch of 3 only took 5 (before the cream addition) and then 15 minutes to bake, instead of the full time.
Every time I make these people are always blown away.. it's my go to recipe , I'm making them for my relatives who are visiting me in Botswana from south Africa this coming long weekend. I Thanks YOU so much, they're gorgeous, fluffy and just sooo yummy!!
I just made these today and I am still bowing to the applause in my head. Look no further. This is THE best cinnamon rolls recipe. Thanks, Tatyana and Nina.
Today I am making these for the second time. This recipe is so delicious my husband begged me to make it again since his family is out visiting. Thank you Tatyana for sharing this delicious recipe!!
WINNING RECIPE!!! This was my first attempt at making cinnamon rolls by scratch. I never felt confident and kept putting off trying. I made your recipe today and they got rave reviews. Using bread flour and adding the heavy cream during baking makes such a difference. Thank you so much for sharing!
This was my first time making cinnamon rolls this morning and chose your recipe because the idea of using heavy cream intrigued me & I had some in my fridge. Well, I followed the directions/ingredients exact and they turned out AMAZING! It reminded me of Cinnabon, they were so fluffy and just melt in your mouth. I put them in the fridge and just warmed one up in the microwave for about 30 seconds and they are just as delicious. It might have taken me about 3 hours to make them since it was my first time making cinnamon rolls from scratch but I cannot wait to use this recipe for company in the future, THANK YOU for sharing! NO MORE Pillsbury dough from the can!
Tbh, i didn't expect it to turn out this good! DEFINIFELY the best recipe ive ever tried nothing i have ever baked came out this good looking and tastes so good with such a simple and easy recipe, my family loves it too! DEFO TRYING AGAIN
@@TatyanasEverydayFood Ive been doing some research into the size of the pan. Your recipe indicates a "large casserole pan". The link to the pan you used shows a 17"x10"x2.5" lasagna pan. I have a 15"x10"x2" casserole pan. There's not too much difference in the sizes. But, when they rise, they might get too large for the pan I have. Will I have to make adjustments to the size of the rolls or will I be able to scrunch them all in my slightly smaller pan?
@@sekereterra Hi! The smaller pan will work great, too! The rolls will turn out just slightly taller, so you may need to bake them for an extra minute or two. You can always check the doneness of the dough with a thermometer. Yeast dough is ready at 190F. Enjoy!
I made these cinnamon rolls yesterday, and I just felt so proud of myself! I used the ingredients necessary and followed the instructions to the letter. They really are THE BEST classic recipe you can try. I brought them to a family reunion today and people finished them all. They loved them and were asking for the recipe, even suggesting I should make some for sale! This recipe will be a staple as part of our family cook book. Thank you so much!
I just made these and they turned out perfect. I am 65 and never had a desire to make them. My husband loves them so I thought I’d give them a try. He ate two and just couldn’t get over how moist they were. Thanks for the great recipe.
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! I made these today and they turned out amazing. Soft and fluffy just like brioche bread. The cream was a magic touch!!
I made my own cream cheese for the frosting and replaced most of the butter with shortening, and it still turned out amazing♡. I can't eat more than one at a time because of just how filling they are 😋
Hi Tatyana! I've watched this a few times just so I can remember exactly what you did in the video hahaha. Anyway, I tried to make this a few days ago and it turned out reallyyyyyyyy good! The bread was so soft and with the added heavy cream in betwen baking- that made it softer! Thank you so so much. :)
Listen people I have been baking for most of my whole 52 years on this earth and cinnamon rolls are my specialty..or so I thought until I made these amazing pillowy soft not too sweet morsels of wonderfulness!!! I found this recipe today and immediately made them My whole family RAVED They're just on another level The ONLY thing I changed is I like a thinned down buttercream icing with maple flavoring added instead of a cream cheese icing These are a 10 out of 10! The whipping cream on top after 10 minutes of baking is some kind of magic
I tried this today and it was delicious so moist and so good if you are debating to try this just try it.😉 all I would say is that this does take a long time whichever cinnamon roll does around 4 hour for me.
i just made these and after devouring 2 at once i had to come and say that these are hands down the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. way way better then Cinnabon. i cant describe how good they are. definitely exceeded my expectations! thank you!
Hi tatyana! My husband and I were so happy with the result of our first attempt in baking Cinnamon rolls that i followed from your recipe. It was indeed soft and moist! We got lots of compliment and private messages asking for the recipe. We'll be baking some of your recipes soon.
The best recipe i have tried! :) And i have tried for long, have never seen anyone do what you did with the cream on top before you put them in the oven :) Thank you!
These truly are AWESOME! I just made a batch yesterday, but made them into pesto rolls instead with sundried tomatoes. I stupidly kept the sugar amount the same (should've cut that in half) but they turned out SO YUMMY anyway. Hubby couldn't quit eating them when he got home from work. In a couple days I'll make cinnamon rolls from the recipe and I already KNOW they're gonna be killer! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this top notch recipe. UPDATE: Okay, it's about 2 weeks ago since I made the pesto rolls. And this morning I finally got around to making the actual CINNAMON rolls.......O.M.G.!!!! What you have here is a recipe that makes the 4 & 5 dollar cinnamon rolls you can get at all the artisan bakeries. I'll NEVER waste my hard earned money at those places again! I'll make my own at home. And what an impressive dessert for friends or family whom visit! We all owe this lady a BIG thank you for sharing the recipe. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
I shared this with my mom, sister and nephew and they went FAST. They love them!! My mom said it has beautiful flavor. I love how dense it is too. Soooooo good!!!! Can't get enough!!!!

hello i am from pakistan and tatyana i tried today your cinnamon rolls and they turned out amazing...i tried many other recipes for breads and buns but nothing has ever worked with yeast...this bread of rolls turned out extremely well...thank you
I love this, very detailed. I have tried different versions of Cinnamon rolls and plan on trying this one for Christmas--will let you know how it turned out. Thank you!
I browned the butter in this recipe to enhance flavour. I did find the dough to be a bit too soft and light and airy. I actually prefer the dough to be a bit more dense or heavy but these are good. I also toasted pecan in salted butter, chopped them and added with the filling and some on top of frosting after baking.
@@millieways9228 Its the dry yeast.. If you talked about the one in between the sugar and the yeast - its the balance of sugar that left in the bowl if i'm not mistaken..:)
Nice. But do you mind if I share some suggestions? I don't care for cream cheese. I follow a recipe not too dissimilar from your own. I use butter, confectioners sugar and heavy cream. I first cream my butter then add the heavy cream and whisk that in. Finally I gradually add my sugar until I get a quasi gelatinous mass. The next step I just started doing in the past week. I take the contents of the icing, assuming it was mixed in a metal bowl, and place it over a hot bath and allow the heat from the steam to slowly "cook" the ingredients together. After a few minutes, the congealed mass begins to liquefy. I stir it fairly constantly over the next ten minutes. When I'm done, the sugars and milk products have become completely incorporated. The icing is nothing short of perfect. For roll placement in the pan, try placing six per pan, assuming you're doing 12 rolls. This will allow the rolls to more fully proof and give the illusion of more roll than what there would be in a normal twelve rolls per pan arrangement. When I worked as a baker making donuts, I allowed the goods to reach maximum size through proofing before frying them. They look like there is more there. And I suppose there is. There's more carbon dioxide, which adds to the overall flavor. When making your filling, I can't stress enough to cream your butter and then add your cinnamon and brown sugar (and whatever else you might add like nutmeg or cumin. Cumin, you say? I don't really know if it will work but you won't know unless you try, right?) and cream the ingredients together until smooth. It should be more smooth than dry/grainy. If need be, add additional butter or even heavy cream until you get the prescribed consistency. This way, putting the filling on will be easy and you ensure you get equal distribution of butter, sugar, and cinnamon with ever bite. One final note, when you have rolled your dough almost completely up, consider applying a small portion of water with a brush to the outside body of the roll. Then pull the remaining flap of dough over the body so it will stick. This, coupled with your wet filling, will help the roll hold their shape when placing in the pans. One other thing, if you do place 6 rolls per pan, I cannot stress enough not to press down the rolls. Allow them to be larger than life. Oh and don't forget the heavy cream over the rolls like you showed. Thanks!
I made this for my hubbys birthday and everyone loved it! They couldn't believe it was my first time making cinnamon rolls. My family wants more next weekend lol Thanks
Hi Tatyana :) I've been baking this recipe over and over again that I simply forgot to thank you. Thanks so much for sharing this delicious and most amazing cinnamon rolls I've ever tasted! And thanks to Nina too for her tips. I wish her success in her culinary endeavors. And I wish you success in your cookbook too :D Cheers!
wow your the only person on RUclips that actually lets your cinnamon rolls rise enough! I love the tip of pouring heavy cream over the top right before backing. Many years ago I remember having dry cinnamon rolls. Why aren't people using foodprocessors for the dough making as it is easier to get a tender moist dough?
I just finished making these cinnamon rolls, and you can add my name to your five star reviews!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟These are THE best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever eaten! I cannot even believe I was able to make them! I tried a different recipe yesterday and they were so bad I threw all of them into the trash. The first recipe called for instant yeast, and instant yeast just never works for me. I should have known better. Active dry yeast, and letting it proof (I had to wait 20 minutes because my house is cool) is always better for me. My dough rose beautifully and it was so easy to work with. I didn’t have heavy cream in the house so I just poured 2 tablespoons of whole milk on them at the 10 minute mark. I am beyond thrilled how they came out! I will never use another recipe for cinnamon rolls. Thank you for an awesome and easy recipe. I love them! 💜💜💜
Your recipe is the best! I really love cinnamon rolls 💛 and the Cinnabon stores in Chile are closed, but your recipe is the answer to save my sweet life. Cheers from Chile, thanks a lot!!!

@@TatyanasEverydayFood hello from Greece!how do you recommend to reheat them?the microwave didn't have a good result...should we refrigerate the rolls without the frosting for better results?
@@sandy-xi3nx Hi! Thanks for watching from Greece! The microwave would probably melt the frosting. I would recommend using a toaster oven or even the regular oven for reheating. Keep the frosting off if you are planning to reheat :) Enjoy!

I baked these today and they were delicious! Last night I actually made the dough and put the slices into the baking pan, then I covered the pan with Saran wrap and put in the refridgerator until morning. I took them out of refridgerator and let them warm up on the counter for about an hour. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about adding the cream/milk to the rolls after baking 10 minutes. I only used about 1 tablespoon on each roll. They were light, flavorful and absolutely professional level. Thank you for this recipe, it's now mine :)

Awesome!! :) So glad you enjoyed the recipe! :)
Awesome!! :) I'm so glad you finally gave them another try with my recipe! :) So glad you enjoyed these!
Thanks YOU so much, they're gorgeous, fluffy and just sooo yummy!!
That's so wonderful to hear! :) I'm so glad everyone enjoys the recipe!
I just made these today and I am still bowing to the applause in my head. Look no further. This is THE best cinnamon rolls recipe. Thanks, Tatyana and Nina.
Wonderful! :) So glad you enjoyed the recipe!
Colleen Austin loved this comment 🤣
@@ShesComplicatedDesig I truly hope you give these a try!
Today I am making these for the second time. This recipe is so delicious my husband begged me to make it again since his family is out visiting.
Thank you Tatyana for sharing this delicious recipe!!
So glad you enjoy it! :)
Did you use bread flour or all purpose flour?
sweet sunshine I’ve made these twice and making some right now. I’ve only ever used all purpose flour with no problems.
hands down the best recipe ever!! as stated!! thank you Tatyana!! ❤️
I'm so glad to hear that! It really is an amazing recipe! :)
That's wonderful - glad you went with my recipe and that you enjoyed it! :))
Tbh, i didn't expect it to turn out this good! DEFINIFELY the best recipe ive ever tried nothing i have ever baked came out this good looking and tastes so good with such a simple and easy recipe, my family loves it too! DEFO TRYING AGAIN
I'm so glad you loved the cinnamon rolls! :)
Enjoy!
I just made these today and they were DELICIOUS..So soft and fluffy .. Thank you tatyana for this great recipe
+aween0 :) I'm so glad you enjoyed my recipe!
TatyanasEverydayFood can I use full cream milk instead of the heavy cream?
I've already baked it and it tastes soo delicious 😍😍 , my family love it . love your channel
You're so welcome!! I'm so happy they were a hit with everyone! :) These are my all-time favorite!
I just made these and they turned out perfect. I am 65 and never had a desire to make them. My husband loves them so I thought I’d give them a try. He ate two and just couldn’t get over how moist they were. Thanks for the great recipe.
That's wonderful!! :) I'm so glad you gave the recipe a try!
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! I made these today and they turned out amazing. Soft and fluffy just like brioche bread. The cream was a magic touch!!
+Saira Kassam Awesome! I'm so glad you enjoyed them! :))
I made my own cream cheese for the frosting and replaced most of the butter with shortening, and it still turned out amazing♡. I can't eat more than one at a time because of just how filling they are 😋
Awesome! :))
Hi Tatyana! I've watched this a few times just so I can remember exactly what you did in the video hahaha. Anyway, I tried to make this a few days ago and it turned out reallyyyyyyyy good! The bread was so soft and with the added heavy cream in betwen baking- that made it softer! Thank you so so much. :)
Anjaela Yamagami I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Hi Erma! That's so wonderful to hear! I'm very happy you loved the recipe and I'm glad it was a hit with your family! :)
I tried this today and it was delicious so moist and so good if you are debating to try this just try it.😉 all I would say is that this does take a long time whichever cinnamon roll does around 4 hour for me.
Awesome! :) I'm so glad you enjoyed the recipe, even though it took a while! :)
Mmmmm! Absolutely the best I've tried (I've tried lots). The cream really helps! But even without it, the bread is still soft. AWESOME recipe!! 👍🙌
I made the cinnamon rolls in two days ago. It was very delicious! My family love it!
I followed the recipe and it turned out amazing!! Thanks!
i just made these and after devouring 2 at once i had to come and say that these are hands down the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. way way better then Cinnabon. i cant describe how good they are. definitely exceeded my expectations! thank you!

Hi tatyana!
My husband and I were so happy with the result of our first attempt in baking Cinnamon rolls that i followed from your recipe. It was indeed soft and moist! We got lots of compliment and private messages asking for the recipe. We'll be baking some of your recipes soon.
Jho Roxas which flour did ypu use ?
I used your recipe yesterday and everyone that ate them liked them a LOT. My first time and they turned out great! Making more this weekend:-) Thanks
The best recipe i have tried! :) And i have tried for long, have never seen anyone do what you did with the cream on top before you put them in the oven :) Thank you!
Thanks Tatyana❤️ I’ve tried this recipe 😍The Cinnamon Rolls were super tasty, fluffy and amazing! Highly recommend using this recipe
Hi! :) I'm so glad you enjoyed the recipe! :)
UPDATE:
Okay, it's about 2 weeks ago since I made the pesto rolls.

I will try it one day its look so yummy.
Thank you for the great recipe, this is my first time to do cinnamon rolls and the result was sooo yummy! Couldn't stop eating!
I love this, very detailed. I have tried different versions of Cinnamon rolls and plan on trying this one for Christmas--will let you know how it turned out. Thank you!
Well?!?!
Tatyana, Made them today - love, love, love them and my husband who is critical of almost everything loved them too! Thank you!!
Awesome! so glad you enjoyed them!
I finally found the one that I always wanted!! First attempt came out delicious and moist. Thank you for sharing the best recipe. Stay safe 🙏🏼
You are so welcome! So glad you enjoyed the recipe! :)
Hi what is the next ingredient after sugar 1:24 in the dough preparation. Thanks in advance
@@millieways9228 Its the dry yeast.. If you talked about the one in between the sugar and the yeast - its the balance of sugar that left in the bowl if i'm not mistaken..:)

shakiyla andino Thanks for watching! :)
Just got done making this and it was delicious!! 😃
My family wants more next weekend lol
Thanks
+new mommy :) I'm glad everyone enjoyed my recipe! Good luck for next weekend! :)

wow your the only person on RUclips that actually lets your cinnamon rolls rise enough! I love the tip of pouring heavy cream over the top right before backing. Many years ago I remember having dry cinnamon rolls. Why aren't people using foodprocessors for the dough making as it is easier to get a tender moist dough?
+Pia Adding that heavy cream is the secret ingredient to moist cinnamon rolls! :)
Butter and whipping cream.... so decadent. These look fantastic! ^_^
hii! I was gonna make the cinnamon rolls today but realised I didn’t have bread flour, is there any difference with using all purpose flour?? Thank uu
Hi! You can absolutely make these with regular flour, too. Just add the flour slowly and just enough so the dough is soft but not sticky. Enjoy!
@@TatyanasEverydayFood okay! Thank u soo much!will there be any difference??
@@slazivegaming You'll need a little bit less all-purpose flour. Just add it slowly, until the dough isn't sticky but still very soft.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the recipe!! The cream does sound a little crazy but it works wonders!
Can i use all-purpose flower instead of bread flower???
if you're going to use all-purpose flour, please adjust the amount. Add a little less; you want to make sure the dough stays soft.
TatyanasEverydayFood thank you, I have watched this recipe, like one hundred times and I wanted to make it but I did not have bread flour, I wanted to know if I could use all purpose flour. Now I have an answer.

Dude I’m starting to not liking to make cinnamon rolls, because I literally could put a whole extra cup of flour and even oil/grease my hands up and that dough is still sticking to my hands 😭😭😭😭
Hmm, that doesn't sound right. If the dough is sticky, dust it lightly with flour. I usually dust it lightly every 30 seconds as I'm kneading the dough.
