4 Levels of Cinnamon Rolls: Amateur to Food Scientist | Epicurious
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 16 май 2024
- We challenged chefs of three different levels - an amateur, a home cook and a professional chef - to make their versions of cinnamon rolls. And then we brought in a food scientist to review their work. Which rolls were the best?
Check out the level 3 recipe on the ICE blog: www.ice.edu/blog/croissant-ci...

4 Levels of Cinnamon Rolls: Amateur to Food Scientist | Epicurious - Развлечения
Emily is the most real person ever. I love her on the show. But I‘m happy she didn‘t use ketchup.
I think she forgot to.
if you imply that real means dumb, then yes.
I think Emily's Cinnamon Rolls are my favorite in this episode. Much simpler and way less time consuming.
yeah that would of been kind of scaring to see
I kind of remember her putting ketchup on something but I dont remember which episode it was...
Gabrielle looks like an artist or a model, she's so gorgeous.
Thats because she is
I know right
I would like your comment but it's at 420 and i wont want it to be disturbed
Is because she’s a reporter

that would have been better than what she made
I was actually disappointed when this didn’t happen. Lol
Is that a level 0? You guys are right it probably would have been better
I did--I never thought she'd be stupid enough to use pizza dough! This level one chef is an insult to amatuers! LOL!
I enjoy how well spoken the level 3 chefs are, its refreshing
Minus the deliberate mispronunciation of maRscapone 😝
So that pastry chef has been going around saying “marscapone” for 9 yrs and no one told her it’s actually mascarpone?
Like espresso and expresso?
wasn’t aware it was a Brooklyn pronunciation
@@itsgoingtobeok-justbreathe4808 if I'm not mistaken, that phonological variation is called "Metathesis".
I know. Like nails on a blackboard (for anyone who's old enough to know what that sounds like). She didn't just put an r in front of the s, she just picked that r up, moved it to a whole other syllable, and dropped the last syllable in the process. Sadly, it's mispronounced more often than not and I cringe every time I hear it. Giada pronounces it correctly. Just sayin'.

Hahahhahahhaha so true
They really need to start making the “chefs” try each other’s food
I don’t think they’re all filming their segments at the same time (or even on the same day). They’d have to wait until everyone is done before they can try it.
okay but the shade was thrown when you put chefs in quotation marks💀
For real
I would not want to eat what Emily cooks

“THAT FOOD SCIENTIST IS GONNA HAVE-SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT THIS
I’m a level one and two. I have worked in a lot of different restaurants cooking and I cook everyday at home and I love it because I love watching my family eat my meals and how happy they are!!!!Cooking helps me with my anxiety and depression
Can I just say I love the level 2 chefs. Beth, Lorenzo, Gabrielle. They come off as genuine and the recipes come from memories with loved ones.
Level 2 chefs is the level that any average person who cooks regulary should aim for
Lorenzo is my favorite
Level 2 are just normal people who know how to cook. Level 3 know that plus they experiment with the food and know what each ingridient will do to their recipe, also they can make food to their taste.
Jose Gonzalez level 2 are people who are passionate about cooking, might have a blog or something. Level 3 are paid professional chefs, likely went to culinary school.

@@iheartvikings2012 How does Emily win??? She used pre-made pizza dough, like, what? Making homemade normal cinnamon rolls is so easy she easily could've made her own dough

And add ketchup

I thought she would put ketchup on those rolls
I thought she was gonna plaster it with tomato sauce (or ketchup for Americans).

Just why Emily didn't roll her dough straight on the table, why must need paper?
Thats why they call her lvl 1
Exactly. Ugh. Total waste of parchment paper
Possibly didnt think it through and thought it might help with cleanup.
Maybe because it makes the rolling easier
@@HanHan-ds7fm no it's not, it's alot easier when she put flour and just roll it on the table

Level 2 cook: hand mixer
Emily: a wisk

Pretty sure the chefs get to choose their equipment.
I love how you didn't even write level 1 chef, instead you just said Emily

So Pro chef can shame the other amateur bakers? I'm on board with this.
I'd pay good money for that Pro-level cinnamon roll--all day every day.
