His rebound is a downgrade from me. Not sure why he’s choosing her over me but I’m done trying to get him back. He can have that woman. I’m moving on now to find a new man!

If the dumper is an avoidant, they probably left because they DO have romantic feelings for you. Avoidants will leave someone they love because of their fears. They will stay with someone they don't love and who is not so special because they feel safer. If that person abandons the avoidant it's no big deal. Ironic.

My FA ex is doing this now, he loved me madly, for a misunderstanding he jumped into a rebound . Now its 6 months for it. As a FA I was surprise how he came this far, but he hides it to me now after I msgd he misunderstood , I didnt leave him. I went NC in Feb, so he started reaching to me since March , April he came to an event in our college to see me. He acted as he came to see the event, but when I disappear he came searching me & had eye contacts to heal my hurts. He is curious abt the other guy whos interested in me. But my ex wont msg me, he wanted to reconnect desperately in Oct- Dec, now he is like he doesnt want it or he is frustrated abt me. But he checks my social media. Im in NC again. I love him so, he too. I know what u say is right, I heard it in Utube. He is not emotionally bonded wit her, as wit me. Hope he will come soon😐

Well said. I’ve seen people get back together after rebound relationships. But like you said, people need to do the work. Find themselves. Find what they really want from life. Both people need to be in the same place emotionally and mentally in order to have a good relationship

We were beautiful, planning our future, everyone around us was happy to see us so happy. After a year and a half, we had a big fight, no resolution, just stonewalling from him. About a month after the fight, he became involved with an old friend from his hometown. I always believed he had a strange attachment to his high school days and all his friends from those days (he's 52 years old!). This old friend lives 3 hours away, yet she now comes here every weekend for the past 2 months to see him and the rest of "the gang." When we were together, he immediately told his parents and his adult daughter about us. It seems he is keeping her a secret beyond "the gang." I just don't know what to think.

You're the only dating coach out there who says that rebound relationship or if they quickly go on dating app that the relationship has been contaminated and the divine union has been polluted.
I took your advice and didn't take him back, he called me during no contact. He asked me if he should stop, but I said no, do whatever you want bcos I don't care and if grass is greener on the other side, I don't care either. And I said he remains in the past and stay in his lane. Said wish him well and hung up. Blocked his private number too. The end

I am the dumper, but he cheated on me multiple times. We were 12 years together with a 10yr old kid. We were not married. We were having a long distance relationship during Covid due to work and he got stuck for 2 years was unable to travel to another country. After borders opened, we finally had each other again only to find out he was living with another woman for that 2 years. We tried to patch things out for our daughter but it was just tip of the iceburg, during this period I have discovered more cheating not just in one woman so I became toxic as I didn't trust him anymore we were always fighting. We ended up separating and after 2 weeks of our break up, he was already in a relationship with another woman (not the one I know he lived with for 2 yrs) and even introduced her to his family in just after a month. I was devastated but I went no contact and now I am moving on.

My ones cameback after 2 months. She monkeybranched me but started contacting me after a month(I was totally indifferent). She then started to chase me desperately even dated one of my enemies for a week or two to make me jealous. I took her back after keeping her hanging for one and a half month. But I saw some toxic patterns from her that she learned from being with the enemy(he was a narcissist). I kind of dumped her. She seems to be in a lot of pain. How should I help her? (She was my first girl. I was hurt as hell).

I think it would effect the dumper more than the dumpee but if both have feelings for one another then a rebound is a rebound either way. Usually want the dumper to reach out first and regret dumping you.
