Your Dad clearly did a bang up job of raising you. I'm much closer to my sons than my father was. Selfishly, I hope they mourn my passing like you do your father. Few tips from a DIY home painter. Don’t paint on dirt, lay down a tarp, make sure you shake the can for at least a few mins and let it sit in the sun for a few, have a rag to wipe the tip between passes to prevent splatter, shake can a few times between passes, 50% overlap on passes and try to maintain a consistent distance from subject. That being said truck looks much better and I’ve messed up plenty before learning all the correct hacks to achieve good outcome from spray cans. RIP to your pops sorry for your loss I lost my father when I was 15 remember the years you had with yours. Cheers

If you grin that's okay 👍. But I'm being serious. You have a truckload of memories with your pops. Be it Fred or some other truck car and other life teaching moments. I learned my fractions passing wrenches to my dad dad. I am 4 years old sitting on the steps leading into the grease pit. Maybe a tiny bit younger. It is important to get that car done. Limited looked at me and said you don't know do you? Then he took wrenches out of tool tray and set them in order. You know that's a great video to send for example why the half inch wrench was bigger than the 3/8 but smaller than the 9/16. I developed really decent Math skills.. memory skills as well. My kids all had the same 40 year veteran kindergarten teacher. She always remember how I can sit down with each child. Set things out and explain. With my children and other's. It's hard to phantom what the real number of people would be that was 4 years old sitting in the grease pit. So yes I'm glad you have your family your dog. And a whole truckload of memories to reflect upon. While you extend your father's legacy on these RUclips videos and other activities throughout life. Remember you are your father's legacy. Looks to me like he has a pretty good legacy. Who knows? Maybe our fathers are swapping some of those silly stories and as a proud moments right now. May you find some kind of peace in the words and sentiments expressed by others and that truckload of memories. Go out right now make duplicate pictures videos and any voicemail verbal messages you have from your father. Continue being a great legacy of your father. That way others will continue to know your father, even though they have never met your father.

    • @Timmy_Forget

Thank you for these words.. we definitely need to treasure the memories and try to be the best person we can. Sounds like you had a great dad.

@@Timmy_Forget I do. He's just on a different plain right now. Your dad sounds great as well.
The thing about making backup recordings came from a personal experience from a friend of mine from 20 years ago probably. He was a customer of the boss and he was a fair amount older than I was at the time. But he finally erase his dad's last voicemail. Then he could use that phone more effectively. Back then different technology. I asked him I said didn't you record it with a secondary device? Buy sudden change in expression is obvious he had not thought of that. Occasionally when I travel I'll see something that my dad would like a picture of. Oh I think I can pick that up and take it by. Then a millisecond later I remember, not that I ever forgot. I found it easier to talk about instead of not talking about my dad. Find what works for you there is no magic words that I can say.
