  • On this adventure we stayed at Lake Easton State Park. The boys and I had a blast to say the least. The park staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The park was very clean and well taken care of. The view from our campsite (41) was amazing. We enjoyed our time there by playing on the park playground, walking through the trails, and using the swimming/fishing areas. The boys spent the rest of their time riding bikes on the well paved roadways of campsite area.
Also recommend visiting the Snoqualmie Pass Train Tunnel (exit 54). It's a decommissioned train tunnel that was built back in 1912-1914. It is now available for people to walk or ride their bikes through. It's about 2.25 miles one way. I recommend you bring jackets (even in august), food and water. Flashlights are a must.
If you have a discovery pass already then it's free. If not, they have available machines to purchase a day pass.
