Thanks, we love kayaking and sharing these. We recommend this one for another beautiful, peaceful, relaxing experience ruclips.net/video/ZYFlX0jk9dE/видео.html
Thank you. I just used this video for my indoor rowing workout. I played at 1.25 speed and it’s perfect for a moderate pace. High quality video and beautiful scenery. Long videos like this are much needed for the indoor rowing community. It gets tired snd bore staring at the performance monitor screen.
I'm at the beginning, and am inspired to let you know that I thank you profusely for that brilliant orientation - this distinguishes the video from most. 3D maps, well who in my geezer generation would've hoped??? Your efforts are not unrewarded. Catch you later...🤌
Thanks for your comment and great feedback. We love kayaking and sharing these. Mountain Lake on Orcas Island is another of our favorite peaceful, relaxing kayaking spots ruclips.net/video/ZYFlX0jk9dE/видео.htmlsi=gindiEYIz4rh5oj8
@@PresenceVideography Thank you for the share, which I will play. In this lifetime, I had few chances to paddle small craft, but the peculiar tranquility and the lulling sloshing, not to mention the joy of reflections both pure and disturbed, give me a lovely way to enjoy the whole effort of filming this sense of peace. How much the world needs this!!!
It's about 3 miles so about an hour of straight paddling, longer if sightseeing along the way. Check lake level before you go at link below. We like to paddle when full or near full. It has been low this year to date unfortunately www.usbr.gov/pn/hydromet/yakima/yaktea.html
This is the best kayaking video I've ever seen. Awesome scenery. Perfect point of view. Most importantly, no annoying background music. Thank you so much for posting this
Thanks for your comment. We love kayaking and sharing our experiences, and this is one of our favorite spots! We appreciate you taking the time to comment and share feedback. Many more trips coming, it's been a busy summer and we have a backlog of videos to do! 😎
Thanks for the feedback. We are using a higher mount insta360 camera in more recent videos to get the higher perspective, and also 360 panoramic views. We're curious your thoughts on this one ruclips.net/video/ZEaPW-JLJP8/видео.htmlsi=quiCclccaTFo_b9l
@@PresenceVideography Yes the video you link is much better for me especially when the camera zooms out a bit and you can see more of the kayak as it moves through the water and over things under the surface. The sequence from 1:25 to 1:30 in the linked video is what I mean, I really like that view. 1:55 - 2:05 is great.
I live in Seattle and I am heading there tomorrow (June 29, 2024) to kayak. I got Delta 12.10 kayak and was wondering are there any spots on the lake that I should be cautious? I am driving there and I got annual WA Discovery Pass. This will be my first trip to this lake.
Lake Union or Lake Washington? Of course in lakes no tides or currents so main things to watch for are wind, we like < 5 knots, boat traffic, and cold water shock for which consider a wetsuitbor drysuit. We like paddling along the shore as that's where all the interesting stuff to see is anyway, and it's safer. Hope that helps. Have fun.
@@PresenceVideography I am heading to Kachess Lake early in the morning. I do the same on lakes, I stay within 150-200 yards from shores for safety. I grew up on water and am a great swimmer, but cold waters can kill quickly no matter how good swimmer one is. I do not wear any wet suits , but of course I always wear a life jacket. I paddle solo since few friends that I got are not into water sports.
Thanks for your comment. It is one of the most beautiful places we have kayaked. We love kayaking and sharing these experiences, and greatly appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment, and the positive feedback.
It truly is some of the clearest water we have paddled in. Feels like you are gliding over the surface especially in the morning when there is no wind or waves.
This is fast becoming one of my favourite videos on RUclips! Any time I feel like I just want to relax during my work day or even at home, I now either meditate, or watch this video! I love it. My husband has even started watching it with me! I feel like I'm there paddling along myself. LOVE that there's no music and it's just the sounds of the kayak and nature. As Smith has said in a previous comment - I love that it's the whole trip and the 4k/colour/quality is gorgeous. I also love that it doesn't show too much of the boat - too much can get distracting which puts me off some other videos. But this is ideal!! I never thought I'd get so excited about a kayak video (literally never been kayaking 😂 - although you may have inspired me to start!) Thank you so much. I really hope you'll do more videos like this!! ☀
Oh and thank you for not putting ads in the middle of the video 😂🙏 nothing less relaxing than an unexpected ad. I don't mind them at the beginning or end though of course 👍
You're welcome, thanks for taking the time to comment. We love kayaking and sharing these. Such peace and beauty in these locations. Good for the soul. We also highly recommend the Mountain Lake video ruclips.net/video/ZYFlX0jk9dE/видео.html
Such an incredibly gorgeous place with clear water beautiful trees Blue sky, ect. I wish I could live there! Prices for homes in Washington and Oregon are Crazy high!
Wow so love this video best one I have seen. I use these natural sound videos to help with anxiety and this is the best. I feel instantly calm and connected to myself. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!

Distance is about 1.1 miles so 25m at an average paddling speed. Mornings better for lighter wind. Check lake level before you go: www.usbr.gov/pn/hydromet/yakima/yaktea.html. Mid to late summer it gets low. We recommend spring or early summer.
I do it every summer. Best to go on a weekday though, that and one other spot at the north end of the lake are always claimed on the weekend. Get day passes ($5) for parking from a ranger station and park your vehicle just north of the campground and you can launch there as well.
It does sometimes get windy. Mornings are usually more calm. Check weather and I'd recommend a day with winds below 5kn. Also, check lake levels especially late summer as they can drop considerably: www.usbr.gov/pn/hydromet/yakima/yaktea.html.
@@lederppz6202 thanks for the great feedback. Kayaks can go in water as shallow as 6 inches or so, depending on the specific kayak so flexible to go in deep or shallow. Thats said, from beauty of the environment standpoint we prefer full lakes 😎 Also, more distance to carry for launch and pull out if lake levels low. Right now Kachess is 95% full so as beautiful as ever.
Very beautiful video. So relaxing. Thank you so much for this amazing video. Wish you all the best. Ameen. 😍😍😍🤲🤲🤲👍👍👍👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️

I camped for three nights solo at the waterfall on the north end of the lake. Good fishing that weekend as well
Very beautiful. We are looking to kayak to the waterfall and camp. Can you tell me how long it took you to get there. Amazing!

Very peaceful place. Absolutely beautiful lake. 👍
It really is, we love getting into nature like this to recharge.
Went hear yesterday water is very low already so sad 😞
Thanks for the update. Yes, sadly only at 57% even this early in the summer. Check latest levels here www.usbr.gov/pn/hydromet/yakima/yaktea.html
Like 15 to 20 feet lower than in this video
Not unusual for later in the summer, but this year it's happening even in June! This kayak adventure is definitely best when lake is full.
