    Great! Perfect summary of just about everything I've learned watching RUclips videos over past 2 years. I would add just 2 things: I'm using Neutral for Clog as seen plenty others recommend this yet I don't really see any difference. Then I over expose Log by 1.5 - 2 stops, I achieve this by half pressing the shutter to see what the scale shows on the bottom of the screen. Well done Tony, great channel. 👍

    For the white balance I usually use kelvin so it doesn’t switch on me if i walk around and about by seeing the control ring to control Kelvin. Great video and i find that we kind of use the same settings. Also, in Europe and other parts of the world we use the PAL system (25p, 50p, 100p) and its great as well.

    • @TonyMellinger

      You can do that, just depends on work flow. In video though, you’ll need to set white balance as close as possible to what you want your final to be because you can’t adjust it in post natively

    Hey Tony, I'm a wedding videographer looking to step up from my 5D Mark 3 to a follow focus 4k 24p camera. I own several Canon EF lenses and want to keep them. Would you recommend the R6 with the lens mount? And getting the R6 as my main camera for weddings?

    • @TonyMellinger
      @TonyMellinger  3 года назад

      Yea absolutely, I use the R6 all the time for weddings. If you want to keep your EF glass, just use the canon adaptor, it works incredibly well.

      @@TonyMellinger Thanks Tony, I'm just worried If I'm a single shooter and using the R6 the entire day it's gonna overheat eventually and at the worst time. But do you think it will be ok if I'm shooting 4K 24p most of the time?

    • @TonyMellinger
      @TonyMellinger  3 года назад +2

      @@hydropictures3012 you’ll be absolutely fine. I’d suggest shooting in 4k and if you get worried then go down to 1080p. I wouldn’t shoot a wedding with just one camera ever. Always need to have a safety net regardless.

    We are considering the R6. I see that there is an EF-RF adapter that has a ND filter built in. Have you tried this adapter? What are your thoughts?

    • @TonyMellinger
      @TonyMellinger  3 года назад

      I think it’s an excellent idea. I haven’t tried it because i have a mix of EF and RF lenses and the adaptor obviously doesn’t work on RF Lenses. I’d love for Canon to figure out a way to integrate an ND filter in to a compact mirror less. There’s only so much space to work with though.
