Hi Tonya! Thank you for the free hair care regimen builder. Question: What does it mean to moisturize your hair? Is moisturizing and hydrating the same thing? I’m embarrassed to ask these questions but I’ll be okay. Thank you for your reply. I’m new to your channel.
Hi Tonya! Love your content and your sweet spirit!!🙏🏽🙌🏽 I wanted to know if you can give some advice this year on caring for baby’s and toddler’s hair, if that looks any different from adult natural hair care. Thank you for all of your great advice. Have an awesome day!😊
Ideas for videos: (1)How to moisturizer your 4c High porosity hair if you're allergic to coconut oil. (2) What are some good products to use for 4c high porosity hair that do not include coconut oil. I am allergic to coconuts and coconut products. I recently did a big chop to start over and am trying to find products that will keep my hair healthy, moisturized, and help define my curls. Thank you.
Thank you Tonya for your hair care support it REALLY helps extremely extremely, a ton... If you may please can you touch on how we can better take care of our kids natural hair especially for parents who are beginners...thank you
Thanks for all you do for us. My hair is 4B high porosity medium density. My hair is striving however, I noticed that my hair was noticeably thinning in my crown area as well as my edges. I went to a board certified dermatologist here in the Dallas area. She examined my scalp & performed a scalp punch biopsy. The diagnosis is Lymphocytic Inflammatory Scarring Alopecia. The treatment plan is: 6 rounds of steroid injections into the entire scalp (one round per month-15 injections each time), oral antibiotics (Doxycycline 100mg, 2 per day), prescription steroid cream ((clobestasol Propionate, apply to scalp 3 times per week), AND a prescription from a compounding pharmacy of scarring hair loss liquid/oil in a 30ML dropper bottle. I know it sounds like a lot. I hope this helps someone. If you are noticing a change in your hair it’s important to see a board certified dermatologist. There could be something happening under the scalp that needs medical attention. My hair looks vey thick & healthy BUT I noticed a difference. Happy New Year 🎉
Hello, NO she gave me an injection of Lidocaine (no pain-very small pinch). I never felt the biopsy afterwards. It took 2 weeks to get the results of the biopsy. Thanks for the question.
I just left a comment on another RUclipsrs video (with a similar niche/profession as yours) and asked them to talk more about black hair lmao. I doubt they will but a couple hours later I stumbled across your channel. God works fast 😂😂
Hey Tonya.. I pray you read my message in your next live video🙏🤗 Happy New Year Curlfriend🥳 Thank you very much... I have received my regimen builder🥰🤗. Three years ago i came across your channel by FAITH. Because God gave me a revelation about hair to be plant like too... before i met your channel😊(i have watched your video on God + hair growth) and it is 1000% true😃. Though i have transitioned my hair from unhealthy overprocessed to now texturized healthy Luxious full head of hair, also thanks to your videos and hair advice too🤗... Curlfriends...Y'all it works perfectly👌👍😁 You are gifted Tonya.. Keep up this precious work... God bless you🥰
Thank you for sharing! I went natural and decided to relax again only after year last july. I loved that my natural hair was healthy, I had great growth, no breakage and was overall stronger. The only struggle I had was with styling which is the main reason I went back to relaxers but now I'm regretting it because my relaxed hair breaks so much so I'm watching natural hair videos in order to decide if I'll go natural again sighh
🌄Hi; I, M. Johnson, am so truly happy hearing you teach/explain hair (like "4c" hair even) and remedies and recipes, thank you so greatly!! Could you please continue no matter (unless sick). I need reminders and like others questions during your "live" Thank-You Tonya! Thank you ❤🌸💮❤💐💐💐🌹🌹
Video idea : start to finish hair products for a flawless silk press. Video idea: yes or no video for a few famous TikTok natural hair products and why
I always struggle with hair care as I live in the tropics. It's always hot and tends to dry out. Can we get some content for us tropical girls who struggle 😢
I think a guide to how your hair should feel according to ones porosity after you wash it; condition it and apply leave-in conditioner would be great. How does PH level of products play into this? I ask because my ends change depending on what I apply and I need to know what is happening? Sometimes they are smooth; puffy; and rough at times. I need to understand what my hair is telling me when this happens; as I am a bit of a product junkie.
Happy New Year to you and thank you for the regimen builder. I would love to see a regimen builder for those of us in the chat that are post menopausal. I'm noticing the texture of my hair has changed. ❤🙏🏾
Videos on hair care for non 4 hair types. Mine is curly and is not overly thin yet nowhere near the thickness and stretched out length of a 4a-? hair. Really enjoy your videos. You not only show how to make hair healthier, you explain why you use and the breakdown of the products or techniques.
Happy New Year! Thank you for your generosity! I would to suggest child haircare for example: Dos/don'ts of ingredients (tea tree oil) and growth issues, etc. Thanks in advance!
Happy new year! How to know when to switch hair care products? Like if a conditioner works but isn’t giving ideal results. What should you look for as signs to try a new product.
I was wondering if you could do a video or possibly expand more on some information that just came across my radar. This cosmetologist on RUclips mentioned when air drying your hair if you interrupt the aerating process by preventing the cuticle from properly swelling then contracting in a reasonable amount of time (a couple of hours) then you’re causing damage.
Thanks, Tonya! I love your videos, and thank you for my gift.:) I have your ebooks and I am excited to read the Hair Care Regimen Builder in learning more about taking better care of my natural hair. :)
Thank you for all that you do for the textured hair community. Perhaps addressing alternatives to cutting splits/single strand knots with updated hair science technology?!? We've come along way. Still reluctant to revisit a salon.
Thank you so much. This keeps me so organized Product idea: I have easily breakable hair. I’ll twist it and it’s just breaking (some shedding). After listening to some of your past videos I’ve made some changes. I’m currently using Avocado, Coconut, and Castor Oil and definitely seen a bit of less hair breakage. Can you make a video on the BEST PROTEIN/STRENGTHENING oils?

Ditto for those of us on the other side of menopause. Happy New Year!

Did the scalp biopsy hurt?
