hi nice video. I just got my netgear orbi wifi6 system rbk752 today and plan on connecting it tonight. I have several questions.I got this because I recently got the T-mobile 5g home internet box and the speeds are super slow. So i've heard that i can boost my speed by purchasing a third party router such as the netgear orbi. I understand the hetgear orbi comes with a satelite or wifi extender, but this is for myself in my bedroom only. Not planning to share my internet service with anyone in my apartment. My roommate has his own internet account seperate from mine. Do I still need to connect the extnder? Do you have a video explaining how to boost speeds with the netgear orbi? I have a mac and iphone. it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello TechJay Question - I have a modem/router provided by Verizon. If I connect redirectly to it will there be competing wifi signals. One video suggested that I disable my current wifi on my Verizon. I am not sure how to do this. Would it be better to buy an Netgear modem to replace my Verizon unit?

Hey! Normally with routers provided by ISP’s you can just log into them and there will be a wifi section in the gui to disable the wifi/wlan. Maybe search what your Verizon modem model number is , im sure there will be a guide online on how to disable the wifi :)

I thought they were too far away so i moved the half way closer and it still wouldnt connect! then i tried to connect them in the same room 3 feet from the router and it still wont connect!!! what give?!?!?

Are you getting a flashing white light? By chance did you get an update firmware for router option? If you did an update prior to adding the satellite you may have an firmware mismatch and will need to go to Orbi website to manually update firmware on the satellite before it will connect to router. Never update the router before the satellite in the future.

Would you be interested in donating the revenue from just one of your uploads to a UK non-profit I.T. refurbisher (us)? We use all donations to turn e-waste into life changing internet ready gadgets which we then gift back to the community. We'd send our audience your way in return of course, embryonic as it is. A punt I know, but if you can help us out you'll find all our details on our about page.

Hey just wondering unrelated but i was told that if you post a video that you made and someone posts that video do you get pinged because I can’t find an example of this anywhere
