    TBH, the Wifi 7 mesh system from TP link has pretty similar performance (upload was faster), but for less money. The TP link BE85 and BE95, sell for $500 and $600 respectively for each identical unit. Where as this sells for $2299 for a three pack, or $766 per unit, but only one that can act as the main router.

      Deco is pretty amazing as well. I will be doing a comparison between this, the deco and new eero max 7.

      One issue I found with be85 and 95 is it has a bug that prevents large files to download using a browser at some point the download will fail . Mainly this happens on 6ghz or wired through a satellite router .

    • @bigrexxx
      @bigrexxx 10 месяцев назад

      @@TechnologyandGaming602 Unfortunately, Wifi 7, has only been available here in Canada for a few weeks, and the new system costs almost twice as much as they do in the US. The 95's cost just shy of $2000 after taxes, for the 2 pack. So for now, I'll hold off on updating from 6e, until Bell releases it's 3 or 8 Gbps internet, in my area, when I can justify the costs to the wife.

    Excelent Video! Insane speeds but the servers are not the same. One is Windstream and the other is Frontier. Either way, Ethernet will always be faster and more secure than WiFi. I'm very excited to see the review of Netgear Orbi 970!! 👍👍

    • @landpet
      @landpet  10 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks! Yeah servers can change based on which one is under less load. My next video is the Deco PX50 which I finished a couple weeks ago but just haven’t edited the video. I should have the Orbi done next weekend or shortly thereafter but I’m done testing the Orbi already, need to film and edit for that. Moving onto Reyee E4

      What internet service plan do you have from what internet service provider i have xfinity and i have there highest internet plan which is the 1200 mbps they are supposed to be rolling out docsis 4.0 cable modems that would give us 10gbps down and 6gbps up would the orbi 970 wifi 7 increase the internet speed.

    • @captshadab
      @captshadab 10 месяцев назад

      Do not get be95. I bought and returned in 3 days. Their hardware seems good but their software sucks and worst is their customer service. You won't get speed at all over wifi and it fluctuates a lot as well

    would this setup work in a scenario where I wanted to set up a NAS in a separate room for video editing? or is the wireless communication still to unreliable to trust on a premiere/davinci timeline?

    • @landpet
      @landpet  10 месяцев назад

      I don’t prefer to edit on a NAS personally but it should provide at least provide gigabit speeds assuming it’s placed properly, realistically a lot more than that as you saw from the video but again depends on your current hardware.

    • @landpet
      @landpet  10 месяцев назад +1

      If centrally placed, one should be enough for a house of up to 3000sq ft but speeds won’t be great at the edges of the house.

  • @williamcopeland2617

    Wait a sec, aren't your speeds technically based off your Network provider planned that you signed up for?

    • @landpet
      @landpet  10 месяцев назад +1

      Your internet speeds are based off your Internet Service Provider but think of those speeds as the absolute best you can get assuming you have all the proper devices. So if I had this node connected via Ethernet to the main router, I would get those speeds but I’m just showing that speeds can vary based on how devices are connected. It also varies quite a bit on what router or mesh system you are using.

    If I was to follow this video I would never buy the nether orbi with that wireless speed thats crazy smh 2500usd router and still can't function like it should wirelessly ? If you had bought a cheaper router lets say Linksys wifi 7 and wired it it would give the same speeds, so why again we buying a 2500 dollar router if wirelessly it still sucks ?

    • @landpet
      @landpet  10 месяцев назад

      This is one of the best WiFi performing routers, not perfect but not bad. I agree with you, if you’re going wired, I would save money and go for something less expensive. I say crazy speeds because I test lots of routers over WiFi and most can’t go over gigabit over WiFi where this one on the download reaches my max speeds, in my definition that is crazy
