I reached 4 months on TSM and went from 3 bottles of wine a day to 1 -2 bottles a day. I finally had 3 AF days this week. I don't really want to drink right now so I am just going with it. I am waiting for another batch of naltrexone from India. I have 6 pills left. I don't know if I reached the point where I am going to quit. It is nice that I have that option.

I am approaching 4 months now but I am still drinking daily. I am hoping to have an AF day soon

Interesting how he mentioned about the grade and not getting 100% on an exam. I made the same shift in thinking too, if i hit 50% of my goals thats still a pass for, like it was in uni.

thankyou so much! What a great interview!! Eric I relate to so much you said. I'm 50ish (haha) and so grateful I found this method. I'm on week 5 as of today. So far, looks like a 50+% reduction (on average a week) Pre TSM 2 bottles of red a night. ...and yep..already I am inspired to tell anyone struggling with AUD about this method. I find I have less *ability* to drink wine now. I actually started drinking JD and coke as it was easier Hahahaha! Nothing like a bit of self sabatage! Going to try to go back to wine now as I think the wall I hit drinking that is very positive! Looking forward to extinction and being an occasional drinker or abstinent (not sure yet) :) thanks again

It’s one month on TSM the first few times I notified a difference but after time 4/5 I see I’m drinking the same and sometimes I feel like more times a week! But it’s only been 4 weeks I haven’t been completely mindful so I’m going to keep trying but I’m dedicated to taking the pill an hour before drinking and noting my progress! Ive missed my last 4-5 logs but I’m staying consistent on the medication and consistince is an issue so at least I’ve commited to that! And I’ve taken the naltrexone every time since I’ve started! So small steps I guess! I’m going to start vlogging my experience and hopefully I can speak e Kate on my own journey one day!
I noticed a big difference the 1st 2 weeks of medication and the last two weeks I feel I’m drinking more often but it may be a defense mechanism of the body knowings it’s healing ❤️‍🩹 who knows but I’ve committed to take the medication and will hope and pray 🙏 results are prominent down the road
But this was such a needed video I’m being a black and white thinker even though I know nothing is black and white lol 😂 just glad this truth is being expressed it’s so HELPFUL

Sounds like you have good fundamentals and you're on your way. I found that estimating for any missed logging is better than leaving it empty. We're probably pretty good at getting within 20%.

You're first months experience on TSM is completely normal.
The Sinclair Method isn't a linear reduction in your drinking and it takes time to re-wired the brain at neurological level in the brain (on average 9-12 months when 100% compliant).
Keep doing what you're doing and have patience. TSM is a marathon not a sprint. 👍
