I'm a veteran, was actually addicted to alcohol and cigarettes. Alcohol and cigarettes addiction destroyed my life. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder, got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 6 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.
Hey mates! Can you help with the source? I suffer severe anxiety, panic and depression and I usually take prescription medicine, but they don't always help. Where can I find those psilocybin mushrooms? I'm really interested in treating my mental health without Rxs. I live in Australia don't know much about these. I'm so glad they helped you. I can't wait to get them too. Really need a reliable source 🙏
Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Never addictive. Thank you for sharing this point!
Yes he's Predroavaro a professional mycologist. My daughter did straight shrooms in few days. Made her whole! after words, no more addictions, pains, ptsd and depression. It helped us.
Such a great, helpful podcast...Love it..Especially when he said I wasn't physically addicted..Me too...I'm 12 days in from a multiple times a week..sometimes daily "habit"...I'm feeling SO much better...slept quite a bit more the first week or so...Don't want to demonize anyone else or say I will never (but that is the plan/goal)....I'm 68 yr old female, in the Holistic Health field and spent most of my 20's and 30's NOT drinking much at all...life stress, financial and relationship issues all contributed the slippery slope...I'm immersing myself in as much of these types of videos..So very helpful...Thank you😇
I can vouch for more fun sober.. I quit drinking a month ago and went to my first party not drinking and I had a way better time. I was more engaged in conversation the music was better, everything was more intense utterly sober and it was awesome.. it’s own high 😎
Super helpful video, Doug and Andy! Excessive alcohol consumption has many negative health effects, both in the short-term and long-term. Some potential regrets people will have if they don't quit drinking could include worsening physical and mental health, damaged relationships, financial struggles, and missed opportunities. Seeking help early on is vital. The longer you wait before seeking treatment, the more damage is inflicted, not just on yourselves, but on the people around you.👋❤
@@bryn3457 Brainwashed people are convinced that drinking helps with that, when the truth is totally opposite. It makes it worse. Understanding how it works is the key.
I think for me, it's not even just the fact that if your life was going well when drinking, that without it will be that much better. It's that I can enjoy every day that little bit more because I'm not tired, I'm not hungry, I want to go to the gym. I don't think I realised how tired it was making me, the difference to sleep quality when not drinking even a little bit is enormous. I used to be frustrated that I couldn't function the same after drinking even one drink in my late forties as I used to after a lot when I was younger, but now I'm glad it's been the tipping point for me to stop. Anyone thinking about it, try it, and I very doubt you'll regret it.
Laughing Is Worse for You than You Think--someone should do a podcast/interview on this. "What can gain by giving up laughter--don't waste your time and energy laughing."
Almost a year here’s! Keep up the momentum. It’s hard to get back … this is my 1000th time attempting to get sober and I gave up and dared to get out of Gods way and my Lord gives me the strength to. It’s great not doing everything in my strength. God gives me the supernatural strength to fight through the fleeting thoughts and temptations to drink and my faith has built up so strong that my struggles have been so much easier to overcome. Thank you Jesus . ! He gets all the Glory ❤
I'd class myself self for many years as a 4/10 on the alcoholic badness scale, 0 bring a teetotaller and 10 being a chronic over the top alcoholic. I've got total control now, drink 4 beers a week. Are able to wait for each Thursday night for a small reward of 4 beers.

YES very sure of mycologist Predroavaro. This treatment worked for me too. Helped me get rid of my life long depression and BPD.

Sober and finally feel so healthy thank you for this positive powerful 🙏🏽 message
4 months here, can seriously see never going back. My body thanks me every day, I’m sure.
Unfortunately, I had to have some pretty bad consequences to help me to quit. I am glad I did, and life is so much better
"Sobriety has given me everything that drugs and alcohol promised me" 💙⭐
Wonderful quote!
Alcoholic wrecked my whole life .. I’ve given it up now at 70 ! Never too late and never felt better.
I'm 67. The beer sessions are devastating now. Throwing everything at it now.
Amazing 🎉 great job!

Thanks so much for this. I was a problem drinker. So glad I don’t drink alcohol anymore
I quit 2 memorial day weekends ago. 1year , 6months. ❤❤
Andy's analogy of a hypothetical gym industry is brilliant!

I agree. What people don't realize is that the threshold for excessive is much lower than they think.
The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek
Spending time with friends is fun. After a few drinks it wasn’t about fun. It was about trying to escape my anxiety and problems.
If you need alcohol to have a fun with the friends, change the friends!
Probably 80% of why people drink. Facing day to day reality is damn hard.

7 months and feeling great 😊
Thank you, for sharing, your story👍
Almost three years sober. I’m happy
Great interview👍
Very encouraging ❤
I've given up alcohol for over 90 days on a few occasions and I've never noticed any positive benefits you've mentioned.
90 days hm starting now.

What helps with withdrawals?

I just got 4 weeks, I’m so happy, but I’m going to try for 2 months. And more if I can.

I've had a bottle of wine and it makes me feel 10 times better than sobriety 😊
Until the bottle is empty and your body detox's.😢
I live in the state (WI🦡) with the once again highest % of excessive drinkers. My town is very toxic!
