Thank you for this. Though I do have some AF days I do not have a lot of desire to stop drinking completely. I have been on TSM for 10 months. It has controlled my drinking though to 1 to 2 a day. So happy. I always overdrank before. NAL is wonderful.

Thank you for this. I got a lot out of this interview. Everyone's issue with alcohol is not the same and sometimes when you see people who drink way less than you it makes you feel like you can't relate. But when I hear stories of people who were drinking on the heavy side and they were able to show major improvements it really is inspiring for me, as someone who is in that category. I found this to be a very real and honest take. Good luck to you

This was perfect timing for me. I think I'm psychologically attached to alcohol as well as dependant/addicted. My first sip of a beer (without it even having a chance to give me a buzz) is heaven! Its like my body says: Oh!! Thank you!! Just knowing what's coming next......Ive been dreading I was part of the 20% who Naltrexone doesn't work for. (of course) But Jason has given me hope that I can get my alcohol level to a respectable level and still feel happy about my progress. I've only been on the TSM a month. It doesn't help that most people in my social group think Abstinence is the only way. My Doctor and also my Psychologist had not heard of the Sinclair Method and I think they are sceptical. I'm in Australia. Thank you Katie!

Hey mate, I'm also in Australia, and this interview has given me fresh hope. I started on NAL in January 2023. But for six months I thought I could just continue drinking as usual, and the NAL would overtime do the rest. I didn't realise, you have to help the medication along, by attempting to change your drinking habits. So I stopped taking it for about 2 months. But I'm back on it now, and following the habits the TSM advises us to do. Fingers crossed I can eventually get to a few grog free nights a week. I wish you all the best on your journey. 👍

the hardest part for me was waiting that 1-2 hrs before drinking after taking the pill. Often I couldnt wait it out, Eventually I would wake myself up to take a pill.
