Another great video and points Jon! I will add some of my experience with this, First I have read complaints that the FiTech tech support is terrible and yes it is BUT it is getting better. I know everyones expectations are for them to know their system inside and out and with a brand new product, these expectations are completely unrealistic. Second, while they are improving, they are dealing with serious growing pains and it will continue to improve. From my conversations with them they grew about 5 times faster than they had planned for simply because the system works and works well. Third, this system, along with Holley, MSD, ProJection etc. they are not plug and play as a one size fits all and this is a huge misconception that they all advertise along with the self learning as that is highly misleading to the new users. The systems must be tweaked to your individual engine and for those switching from carburetion, you know all too well that your vehicle and your buddies that is identical both run and start differently, some are cold natured while others run no matter what etc. This has to be tuned into the system to account for the motor. Another huge misconception is the fact that a carb will run well on a poorly maintained motor whereas any fuel injection system will not. Any intake or exhaust leaks will cause problems big time for the unit as it accounts for everything and rely on accurate data to do its job. If your motor is not up to snuff with leaks etc. don't expect the EFI unit to overcome that like a carburetor can because a carb is static tuned while an EFI unit is dynamically tuning. I helped Jon get his motor up and running and he discovered issues along the way that he has since addressed and his motor is running fantastic. I have installed many units in my shop, Fitech is preferred for us since I have taken the time to learn it, sure we will install other systems but I have minimal experience with them so as with anything we tend to stick with what we know. A final point with the timing, this is not something that learns in the FiTech, it is the same as a CDI box in the fact that you have to program your curve. The beauty of it is when set up correctly, you can simply make changes on the fly with the handheld without ever having to pop the hood. Hope this info helps!
Tom Hyde - Hey Tom, I was excited anticipating what Fitech could offer with the evolution of my now vintage Holden Gtr Torana, six cylinder, draw thru turbo configured and had almost all brands of quality carbies on it, but this fitech carby was space age for good old school that’s been tried and proven. I enjoyed the wiring in and placement of this project, did things as neat and professional as I could, then primed it up and started first kick, amazing. That was the start of me putting all my thinking, researching, enthusiasm and what I considered to be me as a modern day rev head mechanic to the test. If you fall off your baseline then things can go south pretty quickly, that’s the multiple variable that can and sometimes does ruin a good party. I feel that with each tune, or adventurous tweak of the cpu, I can make a difference, honing in on the best tune that this car has ever felt. It simply has to beat a Vac Secondary 600 Holley, and it’s sort of doing that, and with time to enjoy in this stressed out crazy world I will have that eye catching Torana boosting straight pass you and the feeling would of been worth every dollar.
The reviewer mentions the challenges of getting started. Do you want a challenge? Try playing around with performance tuning or carb building with no prior experience! The EFI is totally the way to go. And for 90 percent of enthusiasts, be sure to go the Throttle Body route. TBI injection is not perfect but is far simpler than port injection and for swapping from carb to FI is the only way to go unless you are going for all-out HP
With the adding on to the price, all of those additions are making it easier to drive the vehicle and make it more reliable, and the intake means more power!
Great video I give thumbs up to everything I've bought four of these for customers and myself and they are 100% awesome. at first customer service was just as you said slow and wait now it is fast quick informative I use option number two and the guy on the other end is just great fitech all the way I have use the original 400 horse, yes it had some problems but fitech took care of me 100 and 10%. The fuel command system is great I recommend it it is expensive but worth it. I am using the external fuel pump on the binderbird. (UTube binderbird) I burned up a few external pumps using the stock settings and I found you need to turn it down to about 40% no more fuel pump problems using the 600 horse unit on my international 345 engine out of a wheat truck and it is pure awesome the binderbird won't do 600 horses but it sure wants to. Out of 1 to 10 I give fi tech a 20
I bought the go efi 400 with the inline pump kit already included from summit for $994. The only additional expenses I had was a fuel tank baffle for $35 from ebay and some extra efi clamps. I already had an intake and distributor so my cost was under $1050 if I don’t include the $60 I spent on noico sound deadener i put on the trunk to soften the high frequency resonance of the pump. So far it still needs fine tuning, bogs and hesitates at quick throttle and deccel. My main complain I would have to say is I wish they included the fine tuning instructions in the box instead of me trying to google them. I had no problem with the install that pertained to the unit. I think the sniper is more expensive.
I Know 3 guys with different kits from fitech one is 400hp kit on a in line 6 . Another with 800hp kit on 500ci Mopar and the last one is on 351 Windsor and all of them love it
a single plane intake manifold can be a four-barrel intake.... it describes the plenum type. also, all fuel injection units should be used with a single plane intake manifold that way the computer can more equally distribute the fuel. a dual plane has two different sides to the intake one plenum goes to the left bank and one to the right bank, they are for more torque and they have longer runners.
Fitted system was a total nightmare. Outdated software to begin with. Lack of tech help, new controller sent, again bad software. Never ran right. Spend a couple hundred more and get a real system. Believe me....
When I first watched this, I thought, "Man, what a ton of work. I'd rather just put on a quality carb and call it good." Then when I actually decided to use my brain, I thought about all the trouble I go through to get my carb set up just right. I adjust the accelerator pump, change out the jets, turn the low and high screws, then go back and forth between all of that several times to see if one adjustment is better than the other. Then I try another carb that is 100 cfm less and go through the whole process again to see if I can get any considerable gains. That's a fair amount of fiddling around and two brand new carbs is not a small sum of money. At least when you get done fiddling around with the EFI, it is done. It just runs. No concerns about going too high in the mountains. No concerns about the choke on a rainy day. No concerns about -40F. No nothing. It just goes.
1:30 "You need a 4 bbl intake manifold and I had to change mine cuz I had a single plane" I thought just about every single plane manifold was made for 4bbl's, did you have some weird single plane 2bbl manifold?
Shame they just came out with a 2bbl efi system supports up to 400 HP / Holly has one now in there sniper line and the Holly Actually looks easier than the fi tech one
I had zero experience with mechanics and mine worked great only problem was flooding I had the tach sweep causing it to flood till I turned it off other than that it worked great 600 Power adder even spraying it seems better than ever
Ever since i decided to go efi on my f100 i started watching you video.. you got some good info.. thanks for posting them. the only thing i have left to buy is the msd distributor. and your right about there customer service. i got with them about what alternative i had for the distributor after like 10 emails of back and forth they pretty much just go with msd.. which is kinda pricey. be nice you have some cheaper alternatives cause like you mentioned. it adds up quick!!
eddie rodriguez this guy is stupid. I had it. Switched to. Holley sniper and a duraspark 2 dizzy will work. And a single plane is what is needed for. Proper fuel. Distrubtion
Thanks for the honest opinions. When I was planning out my Firebird build I originally planned on that same FiTech unit but about 6 months later the Sniper came out and now I find myself on the fence because of the issues people have had and the many many videos I've watched on it. So now I don't know which way I'll end up going...
Stanton Taylor I just fitted a HP400 to a crate 302.. I called FiTech to get advice to get it through emissions.. Their response was "none of our units are intended to meet emissions tests" ?!?!? So I came to RUclips to find the answers.. FiTech just want your money.. And want you to then leave them alone.. 👎
Nashville Early Bronco ive now taken my F150 (302 motor) to a garage who know the FiTech and have an emissions machine.. Loving your videos sir!! The first FiTech I was shipped was faulty (fuel pump ran continually.. It took FiTech 3 weeks and 8 calls before they eventually shipped me another new unit.. If id known all of this.. Id have bought a different set up.. FiTech suck as a company..
I’m going to be purchasing the fitech system and already upgraded to the aeromotive stealth intank pump and I have a return style fuel system. I shouldn’t need the fuel command center correct?
I went with Ford EEC-IV EFI for my 84, Pro: I can get parts at pretty much any parts store! Con: old tech. A lot more limiting, and takes more to get running than a FITech/new efi(holley ect) system
I agree with the customer service, It sucks. I have two systems, one on my 68 charger and another on my 70 Chevelle. Every time I got to speak to someone, they were rude, short with me and it felt as if they were trying to rush you off the phone and gave half ass responses to my questions.
Hey Jon, EFI is totally worth it. We have installed both the FiTech and Holly systems here at our shop and either will get the job done. The Holly Sniper is cheaper when considering total price and more user friendly than the FiTech. While the FiTech can give you more tuning control, but over time FiTech tech support seems to have become overwhelmed so you had better be a geek if you own a FiTech. We also find the Holly system more off road friendly. Keep up the great videos.
You must be kidding, FiTech is total junk and is in no way comparable to Holley, or anyone else for that matter. I have installed and worked with Holley HP, Holley Dominator, MSD Atomic, Big Stuff 3 and use HP Tuners and all are way better and they actually have a ton of tech support and community support. The FiTech comes with junk CTS right out of the box, it has grounding issues, tuning resolution is crap, and the claims they make are not accurate as to hp support and so on. We worked with one FiTech on a BBF and we will never recomend nor work on one for someone again and if asked our opinion we will tell them they are better off nailing there nuts to a stump and having a buddy kick them over backwards.
Funny and guy's say the dual plane intake don't work with the fitech and the single plane is what you should use because it runs better with the single plane style? I don't know who to believe about this issue?
i accedentaly stepped on my sd card who sat i the controller. i got a new one and put it in but it would not work. :/ do i have to have some basic files on it to make it work? and if so. where can i get them
Other than them using the WRONG boost sensor, that goes bad with a common binder for gasoline......its great. Mine went out in 1800 miles, Fitech ignored my requests, so i un potted it. Freescale built the sensor for Natural Gas. It has a low tolerance for the binder for oil in alcohol and meth. One more tip, if your going to use it any way ( the throttle body style) pick a correct intake!!! I used several till i found one that didnt soak the sensor with fuel under boost.
Jon I have the 400 and had none of the calibration or installation issues you had and therefore did not need to call customer service. I talked with the techs over at Wild Horses and they said if they get a call on FiTech it is on the 600. I also did not need a new distributor but my timing is controlled the old fashion way, me and my timing light. Just a few pros and cons between the different models.
you and i agree on everything you mentioned in the video! customer service sucks. fine tuning is a pain in the butt! i did catch the part you said just drive it. my engine has had much more idle time than driving time maybe ill start driving my 1972 dodge dart to work in the spring to get it dialed in...
I have had one over a year and gave up on figuring it out as there is zero customer support and no actual directions from the company on setup unless you count only publishing half the steps. I’m going to give it another try after watching a few of your videos, the car does run and sounds awesome but is a total turd compared to what it was with the 750 carb
Cut out the Webbing in the manifold, FiTech needs the intake vacuum to be balanced, or add a spacer. I have installed many of them and there is videos about this too.
4 barrel intake is not related to single plane/dual plane. Unless you're building a circle track racer living entirely in the upper end of the RPM range... you're better off going with a dual plane (better drivability and better torque... power band lives where your engine runs)
I must be the odd ball, I have had three customer service experiences and all were great. One was a question about dual plane or single plane intake which I couldn't find an answer to and the answered the phone promptly and explained the rare nuances or dual plane issues, a call about options not being in menu and getting a firmware upgrade and then a question about the white screen and getting low voltage to the handheld. All in all positive experiences. I have installed a Fast EZEFI, Holley Terminator, MSD Atomic EFI and ThunderMax and Dynojet Power commander for Harley... In three cases at least 2k more was spent. More time tuning and setup, issues with Boost and timing. In two cases, returning faulty units. I have done 3 Fitech installs now and have spent way less in time and money than the others.... What I want from fitech... gauge outputs, bluetooth phone app, transmission control
What I don't like about their system is mainly lack of information. No paper work comes with the kit, you have to download and print, or view installation and user guides on their website. When it comes to the point where businesses won't provide basic instructions for the products they sell, and their customers have to download and print their own instructions and information, the greed factor and cost cutting is getting way out of line. That isn't just a FiTech problem, and sadly younger people have grown up just accepting that's the way things are. If you have any problems or issues, good luck, no where on their site did I find any Trouble/Fault Code descriptions or what could possibly cause such codes. If they made such troubleshooting information available, people wouldn't have to contact them so much for answers. Trouble/Fault Codes are something that customers should definitely have access to. How do you troubleshoot issues if you don't know what the Trouble/Fault Codes mean?
I would Never Ever buy a add on EFI to replace a carb, Never, Just go out and buy a Newer vehicle with factory EFI. IMHO your just asking for Headaches , I am a Retired Female Fleet Equipment Mechanic and Master Mechanic with over 38 Years of Experience, Nicks garage did a EFI VS Carb and the Carb made more HP at the top end, got a carb on your Vehicle, Keep it on your vehicle, want EFI, buy a factory EFI Vehicle and Be Happy :) Enough Said :)
First off thanks for posting is the fi tech system worth it with all you had to do ? To me NO!!!!! 1,700 ??? It works best with a single plane intake ? I heard this on other videos were did fi tech put this out in there add ? I didn't see it also I hear without timing control your limited like a carb basically they don't say this and the basic 2bbl 400 HP one they just came out with doesn't have it . I would not upgrade 2k just to use a fit tech system over a Holly carb to feel a slight whew I could use 2k to go on a cruise or a trip.and say whew too .
@@NashvilleEarlyBronco Well I'm glad you got yours running right although I know how it could be for those who bought this for the promise of a better running motor with less hassle and self learning then finding out you need other stuff to make it run right .
After 2 years, I'm scrapping my FITECH and putting a holley back on it. It runs better and smoother. The FITECH wouldn't run the car..Literally. It would run for 10 seconds and stall. Put an old Holley on it and it ran perfectly. UGH. Another thousand in the hole. The ECU must not be working the injectors. It had to idle around 1100 RPMs with the FITECH, and now it idles at 850 with the Holley. I will miss the no pedal starts and no heat soak, but I need the car to actually run. Their tech support is also terrible.
The system with fuel pump is listed at 995$ from fitech directly so it sounds like you got ripped off by the dealer who sold you everything separate to begin with. You could have run it on a single plane manifold, whoever said you need a dual plane was bs’ing also and fitech sells a 2 barrel efi now. Same with the distributor, none of those needed to be replaced for the system to work. Not bashing but it sounds like you got bad information from a third party and you are passing it along.
A word of warning : virtually everyone that I know that installed this system has had problems with the "CLAMP-ON" oxygen sensor. WELD IT IN PLACE and save yourself a bunch of grief !
a dual plane manifold... that's what they recommend? I think you mean 4 barrel manifold. single plane and dual plane differ in that they have either 2 separate air paths or one. I don't think this guy knows what hes saying at all.
273 miles on my new 302 crate motor and FiTech HP400.. And 2 injectors went down today.. Waited on the phone for 32 mins before being able to speak to someone.. My FiTech experience is the company is $#!t.. Personally.. Id avoid.. I'll never buy another from FiTech
I've had FiTech on my show car for over to years now and my car Still Runs Like Crap. Every time I call the company in California it's a long wait and all they do is send you a email on downloading their new software. But the software does not work on a MacBook Pro. And that's all I have, So I will never buy FiTech EFI EVER again it's junk
Haha, older vehicle, time to get a gas tank, rust, thats a killer, replacement required, more money, I can buy an engine for what this damn thing costs, I say Edelbrock carb and done!
Buy a nice carburetor like "Quick Fuel" and forget the FiTech bullshit. Also, carbs are cheaper to buy and fix, on the other hand, FiTech costs you lots of $$$$$$ to buy and fix it. I have an 81 Z/28 Camaro 800 HP with a Quick Fuel 850 CFM carburetor. WWaananggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg!!
Dude I got a fitech system with fuel command center it is absolute crap! Tech support or lack of is garbage. Please take my advice don't be like me brooke down on the side of the road because u wanted top save a few hundred bucks.
Any one wanting to buy a Fitech should think long and hard about wasting your hard earned cash on this system. Months of drama and no support for Fitech. Still not running!! Junk!!!
Fi tech not worth it.. too much glitches that causes runnability issues. like leaving you on the side of the road due to fuel starvation. and overheating of fuel pump. malfunctions of tablet bad signal to computer. fi tech terrible customer service. lack of customer service. no help. pile of junk sitting in the corner of garage.😢😢
Put 12k miles on my old ford 400 with a FiTech.... it just worked. Yea, was hard to figure out the tune because I knew nothing about it. Ended up paying the local shop about $170 to tune it properly....but at the end of the day it did what I wanted.

It is not a brand new system. It's been out for years and their is no excuse for NOT knowing what you are selling.
@@NashvilleEarlyBronco hello, so you didn't have to use the command center? Thanks

Regarding FiTech support; why am I having to watch someone's channel to learn about FiTech? FiTech should be publishing all of this stuff and more. 👎

Correct
Nashville Early Bronco ok cool i just wanted to make sure i was thinking about it correctly lol
Yeah, I would make sure the stealth pump has enough psi, but it should be fine
Nashville Early Bronco ya that’s what was recomended to me in order to run the fitech
Was there a HP gain with this system. More power and snap? Have a 77 ford crew cab with fresh 390 wanting to improve.
I think there was but I didn’t do a base synopsis to figure it out
Great Channel!!! Glad I found it!
Thank you!
You had "just a single plane" intake manifold? Somehow I doubt that... Didn't you have a factory two barrel dual plane intake?
Yeah when I made that video I said it wrong. I had the factory dual plane manifold
Yes its an awesome unit and 600 non pa works great on my 73 vette.
Anybody have info on using system with big 6 inch plenum manifold?
Thank you, found you looking for fitech vs holley sniper, not I need to see if Holly controls Timing ?

I agree with the customer service, It sucks. I have two systems, one on my 68 charger and another on my 70 Chevelle. Every time I got to speak to someone, they were rude, short with me and it felt as if they were trying to rush you off the phone and gave half ass responses to my questions.
woah you got a lot of subs I remember when you had 800 subs 🤘🏽 great content
🙌🏼 thanks man!
I'm currently having Fitech installed on my 67 cougar xr7. Curious to see how it does.
Nice!
I will let you know how it turns out
Megasquirt 3 $350 , and junkyard sensors and parts $250..... My 4.6 4V runs great.
Great info! Thanks
@@turbochevelle5641 Hooah!!! 🇺🇸
Funny and guy's say the dual plane intake don't work with the fitech and the single plane is what you should use because it runs better with the single plane style? I don't know who to believe about this issue?
Funny! I don’t know either! My dual plan works fine
I'm running an rpm air gap on my 302 sbf, no spacer, it runs fine.
Love my fitech. People bitch about tuning, well how long did it take you to learn how to tune a carb?
Also, for those interested. HP University has a free EFI tuning session. www.hpacademy.com/free-live-lesson
i accedentaly stepped on my sd card who sat i the controller. i got a new one and put it in but it would not work. :/
do i have to have some basic files on it to make it work? and if so. where can i get them
Oh bummer! I don’t, but I’ll look around
I used several till i found one that didnt soak the sensor with fuel under boost.
anybody else have a dissplay stop working?? then i got a new one paid the delivery charge and now my old one works again??
What about the fitech on board fuel pump that is under the hood?
The fuel command center? Everyone complains at how bad that is
Jon I have the 400 and had none of the calibration or installation issues you had and therefore did not need to call customer service. I talked with the techs over at Wild Horses and they said if they get a call on FiTech it is on the 600. I also did not need a new distributor but my timing is controlled the old fashion way, me and my timing light. Just a few pros and cons between the different models.
Right on, good comparison
you and i agree on everything you mentioned in the video! customer service sucks. fine tuning is a pain in the butt! i did catch the part you said just drive it. my engine has had much more idle time than driving time maybe ill start driving my 1972 dodge dart to work in the spring to get it dialed in...
Yep, that's the key. You have to drive it and get it up to operating temp.
i think the fuel command center is my issue though, do you have a part number for the electric fuel pump you used? and the fuel lines
This should have it all, let me know if it's missing anything: kit.com/NashvilleEarlyBronco/efi-fuel-pump-kit
Carter p5000 in-line fuel pump is around 50.00 bucks...
Good to know! Thanks
It’s a no brainer!👍🏼 I agree with the CS😂
When you get a chance take a look at Craig 3:16, he's says something different about the system
Will do
cid is engine cubic inch displacement
Duh! Thanks 👍🏼
I can’t get mine to idle right.
I have had one over a year and gave up on figuring it out as there is zero customer support and no actual directions from the company on setup unless you count only publishing half the steps. I’m going to give it another try after watching a few of your videos, the car does run and sounds awesome but is a total turd compared to what it was with the 750 carb
Bummer!
I have a single plane manifold on mine works grate for me.
Good to know! 400hp or 600hp?
600hp non pa
What I want from fi tech ??? A unit that works ....
Did the gas mileage improve
Yes but very little
I’m looking into EFI, customer service is huge for something like this...
Have you figured you mpg yet?
I wrote it down somewhere but I can’t find it. With the 35” tires, it’s still pretty low. I think it was about 9mpg
Have you noticed an increase in power?
Yes, but I put a new intake manifold on as well, which could have been the reason for the increased power
They dont increase power in general, they increase drivability.
@@NashvilleEarlyBronco dual planes dont normally increase total power.
Adding this to the list.......
*cubic inch displacement
Great video
Thanks!
I think I'll just stick with my factory tbi setup.
??? It works best with a single plane intake ? I heard this on other videos were did fi tech put this out in there add ? I didn't see it also I hear without timing control your limited like a carb basically they don't say this and the basic 2bbl 400 HP one they just came out with doesn't have it . I would not upgrade 2k just to use a fit tech system over a Holly carb to feel a slight whew I could use 2k to go on a cruise or a trip.and say whew too .
They get you though. You think it’s just $1,000 for fuel injection until you really add the cost up.
@@NashvilleEarlyBronco
I know but if they say that how many will they sell? They should make it a package
Haha! Totally, if they sell it all separate they sell more for “cheaper”
@@NashvilleEarlyBronco
Well I'm glad you got yours running right although I know how it could be for those who bought this for the promise of a better running motor with less hassle and self learning then finding out you need other stuff to make it run right .
Ouch! Sorry man
I’ve had a few people tell me it’s not as great for off reloading. Said it’s great for the streets.
Mine has worked great off-roading.
0 customer service means 0 sale for me.
Coming from a business owner.
He said "Cubic Inch Diameter" at 4:03 C'mon man, CID is abbreviation for Cubic Inch Displacement..after that I can't trust this review.
It’s not unusual that I said it, I say dumb stuff all the time. The part that gets me is how I didn’t catch it when I was editing! Come on man!!!
"Cubic Inch Diameter?!?" Definitely going to hesitate before trusting your advice.
You definitely should
Just use HEI with vac advance and a port vacuum signal. My cap was $50.
Hei is great if you dont want to go over 5k rpm or so.
i would not buy fi tech if i was in warm climent .. the only advantage is cold weather starts .. gas mileage is worse
A word of warning : virtually everyone that I know that installed this system has had problems with the "CLAMP-ON" oxygen sensor. WELD IT IN PLACE and save yourself a bunch of grief !
Agreed! I welded mine on after some headaches
a dual plane manifold... that's what they recommend? I think you mean 4 barrel manifold. single plane and dual plane differ in that they have either 2 separate air paths or one. I don't think this guy knows what hes saying at all.
Dual plane manifolds are what all the cool kids are running these days 😂
273 miles on my new 302 crate motor and FiTech HP400.. And 2 injectors went down today.. Waited on the phone for 32 mins before being able to speak to someone.. My FiTech experience is the company is $#!t.. Personally.. Id avoid.. I'll never buy another from FiTech
I've had FiTech on my show car for over to years now and my car Still Runs Like Crap. Every time I call the company in California it's a long wait and all they do is send you a email on downloading their new software. But the software does not work on a MacBook Pro. And that's all I have, So I will never buy FiTech EFI EVER again it's junk
sounds like RUclips has more neg than pos about Fitech ???
Sweet Bike
microsquirt it does it all is the best buy love it usa made i use ford edis box n coil diy auto tune com
Fuck that fintech. Edlebrock carb all the way
Any one wanting to buy a Fitech should think long and hard about wasting
your hard earned cash on this system. Months of drama and no support
for Fitech. Still not running!! Junk!!!
Great vid but fintech fi tech whatever the hell it is no
No the fitech is not worth it wish I would have bought a nice carb
Dont buy china parts for your expensive engine
Got the 1200hp fitech i dont have no where near that much hp on my 90 Silverado but my oil smells like gas
Ouch! What’s your AFR?
Nashville Early Bronco
Idk i never messed with it i got it back from the shop the way it is what should the afr be at
-35.2
It should be between 13-14
Nashville Early Bronco
Would be nice if u emailed me ur number lol
Save your money for a coyote.
😂👍🏼
Could do what I did and make everyone mad; 5.3 LS. Put one in my 79 f150 and everyone gives me dirty looks when I mention it.
😂 I’m sure you do get dirty looks. But it’s yours, and no one can take that from you
Fi tech not worth it.. too much glitches that causes runnability issues. like leaving you on the side of the road due to fuel starvation. and overheating of fuel pump. malfunctions of tablet bad signal to computer. fi tech terrible customer service. lack of customer service. no help. pile of junk sitting in the corner of garage.😢😢
Lol...funny hahah!!
You guys are to easy to please. This stuff is junk! I had it on my race car and it is total garbage. It's cheap for a reason!
Put 12k miles on my old ford 400 with a FiTech.... it just worked. Yea, was hard to figure out the tune because I knew nothing about it. Ended up paying the local shop about $170 to tune it properly....but at the end of the day it did what I wanted.
