(I wouldn’t comment at all if I thought it looked bad) but I think your hair is super cute! Definitely keep the bangs but I liked the longest layer a bit longer! You have great hair no matter what though! Thank you for another great video as always!! 💖 Your videos reassure me and keep me going! Very much appreciate you doing them when we know how super busy you are with so much! 🙏🏼
I also actually just had a hysterectomy 3 weeks ago and kept my ovaries - strange that this just popped up on my feed. I was wondering if I would keep cycling emotionally around that time. I had massive fibroids that were causing anemia. So glad I did it.
So it's OK to keep working towards full recovery (eating lots, resting, etc) even after getting my period back? Like the return of your period is not the end of physical or mental recovery? This is probably the one thing that holds me back the most right now - fear of what comes after my period returns.
Absolutely, my period came back after about three months into recovery and at that point I was no where near rewired. Permission to eat unrestricted is not only for those who don’t have a period, that would be crazy! That’s a trap the ED will get you in if you’re not a step ahead and plan to carry on after your period returns.
How continue recovery when you feel really ugly? I feel like I at least should weigh little to weigh up my ugly face :( If i could cut it of i would :( Did you have thick skin before recovery? How did you develop it?
Separating your happiness from how you look is invaluable, and necessary, if you want to live a life free from the fear of judgment from others. How to do that?? Just like anything new, it’s a skill you must develop and you do that by behaving different to certain stimuli that has to do with your appearance. Controlling your weight, extreme obsessing about hair, clothes, make-up, refusing to be in pictures etc, all of those things teach your brain you’re not ok as you are. So instead, shift your focus on strengthening your relationships, personality traits and building character. Hope that helps, it’s a journey, but one worth taking!
