Is that a problem
Saw them twice at the legendary El Mocambo in Toronto in 1979. They had 4 albums under their belt by then. It was Peak Ramones. The place was packed. The crowd, the energy in that small nightclub was off the charts. I've been to a lot of concerts of all types in my life. Nothing comes close to those shows. Sheena is the anthem of punk rock.
We have opened a real punk channel! It's now time to become a veteran! Whether you appreciate it or not depends on your taste!

I personally think the Ramones are the greatest band of all time. Bass, guitar, drums, singer, great songs, all rolled up into one.

Small story:
So my dad grew up listening to punk music (he was born in 73’ so) and he eventually opened his own punk club where bands came to play.many famous bands came to play there. So I was born in 06’ and the ramones were played around me as a young baby along with any other bands. They’re one of my favorite bands have been for so long. I’ve grown up with these songs and I love them. I have memories of being in the bath and this playing. I have so many memories of the ramones songs when I was little. I know all the lyrics to so many songs. Thank you so much dad for introducing me to this wonderful band!!💕
What alot of people didn't know about joey is that he was struggling mentally/emotionally and physically but he over come it all to become a rock god of a voice, LOVE THE RAMONES 🖕✌️🤟4.

When Joey died he took a piece of my heart. The Ramones are everything about my childhood/teen years. I always feel free and 14 again when I listen to their music. I will forever love them!

Saw them 7 times and met Johnny, CJ and Marky once in a Hotel Lobby in the Netherlands. My eyes get Moist, remembering this greatest Band of all time. I miss them so hard. But it was a hell of fun seeing them performing on stage. RAMONES FOREVER!

When this came on the radio in the UK around 1977, it was the first Ramones song that I heard - It was a case of instant love for me - I got to see them about eight times and played their records to death.
Even my Mom, a die hard county fan, would smile so big when I'd play Ramones, especially this song.

@Zed Saw them at the Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin, TX. They were huge in the late 70's for those of us living in Central Texas. But then I'm one of those "late 60s" type of rock 'n roll children. I remember Buddy Holly being played on the radio because he was new.

Saw them in Boston in 1985. They had just release a new album, but they lead off with this CLASSIC. It was the best concert ever. The only time they stopped playing was to take off their jackets, and then it was "One, two, three, four!" and into another classic.

I love the way Johnny is just rocking out and jumping all around on the stage just getting down. This in my opinion is the most underrated band in the history of rock n roll period. They were true to themselves and never sold out. The Ramones were the REAL DEAL. God bless them all and may they all R.I.Punk Heaven.
