My Mother is the woman playing Sid's Mum in the audience in this video. She was made bed-bound 5 years ago and its been my pleasure to be her carer through that time. She passed away back on the 11th of this month (11/12/2022). I will miss her a lot.

Bullshit heroin doesn't give you confidence like that. Maybe not you because drugs effect different people in different ways, but opiates always made me feel like king of the world. Actually, there was the top of the pops, the oldest ancestor of Mtv. But the videos they played weren't music videos, i would describe it more as a visualised version of the song. It was called "Promotion Clips" back then and the bands didn't get paid for the network to play their promotion clips. Been clean since 2012 and never want to go back to using, but I can't lie when I say I miss the confidence I had when I used. Stimulants for me never had that affect. Always made me paranoid instead. But I have known people that did feel that way on them. But yeah opiates definitely have that affect on some people.
