My dad was an accountant, but he loved this kind of music (much to some people’s surprise). When my sister and I were young, he would take us for drives in his 20 year old Porsche 911, with this song playing at the maximum volume. Such great memories. He unexpectedly passed away on June 3rd, 2022 at age 57. We requested this song to be played at his funeral, but my family forgot we requested it! So when it started playing, everyone instantly burst out into happy laughs and smiles from memories of a bygone era. RIP Dad.
My mum's favourite too, she died in her mid 60s. But if I think of her - this song sums her up - she was fearless! Reckon if she hadn't had children young she'd be back on the road!! Respect to your dad.
On the other hand, my parents were the ones dedicating this song to me 😅 ((wonder why!)) And my mom passed away on 2020. Easy Rider,. My husband's favorite movie of all time! Born to Be Wild' by Steppenwolf,,his even bestest song! I think he thought this song was written just for him! My husband passed recently, We had a simple service for him. I was asked, what one song would he liked played...And so it was 'Born to be Wild'. Perfect send off to get him on his Harley as he crossed over the Bridge to Motorcycle Heaven. Thank you!
Thank You Very Much for the download . Bring back so many good memories during my teenage days jamming this music on my dad's JVC Vacuum-Tube Wooden Cabinet Stereo Player
TheBonScott33 Glad to hear it.. exactly what I did following a bad one many years ago that wasn't my fault.... It got me through the bad times.. I actually asked my family to bring in the then video I had of the film when I was allowed up off the spinal bed and I would go to the day room that had a tv and video player.. back in late 90's.. I ended up doing the advanced bike test to get my confidence back when I self discharged.... Hope it all works out for you.. I was in the NSIC at Stoke Mandeville, five months following NHS negligence after the accident.... told I would never walk again but ignored that and can stand and move now just limited mobility and heaps of pain, I still ride.. Once it's in the blood to ride it's usually there for life... All the best for a 100% recovery. Keep your sense of humour I was told and it worked.. good advise I am happy to pass on to a fellow fallen rider.
Song reminds me of the best trip of my life, on a ‘89 Honda Goldwing 1500. The ladies I worked with scoffed at the idea of me doing “it” Haha. Rode from Portland, Oregon 🇺🇸 to south central USA. Went along the whole Beartooth Highway between NE Entrance of Yellowstone Nat’l Park all the way to Red Lodge, Montana. Elevations of 11,000’ & mountain tops in every direction “Big Sky’s” all around. Caught hail at the summit in July above tree line, slick hair pin turns all the way back down. Thank you Steppenwolf, for this groovy tune and my chance to “be wild”… ✌️♥️
I took my son to see “Easy Rider” last week on the big screen because I love this movie. Thank you Peter Fonda for this powerful film. It speaks to tolerance, individualism and bravery. I see you now on your bike Captain America. Blessings and strength to your family.
My dad was part of an MC back in the day and one of my earliest memories was him taking me around the block on the fuel tank of his '95 Fat boy. Suffice to say that when I got my first MP3 player, this was one of the first songs he helped me put in it and I used to play it while on my bicycle. Fast forward to now, the song STILL plays in my head while I'm taking the Harley's out.
I'm a 23 years old laws student... I'm trying hard with my career and fighting to get my title but also... I'm savin some money to get my first bike, and when the time comes... Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure
And whatever comes our way
Yeah Darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space
I like smoke and lightning
Heavy metal thunder
Racin' with the wind
And the feelin' that I'm under
Yeah Darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space
Like a true nature's child
We were born, born to be wild
We can climb so high
I never wanna die
Born to be wild
Born to be wild
Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure
And whatever comes our way
Yeah Darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space
Like a true nature's child
We were born, born to be wild
We can climb so high
I never wanna die
Born to be wild
Born to be wild

The official WWE Summerslam 2023 theme song
The theme song of Born To Be Wild by Steppenwolf is the 1969 movie Easy Rider
Easy Rider,. My husband's favorite movie of all time! Born to Be Wild' by Steppenwolf,,his even bestest song! I think he thought this song was written just for him! My husband passed recently, We had a simple service for him. I was asked, what one song would he liked played...And so it was 'Born to be Wild'. Perfect send off to get him on his Harley as he crossed over the Bridge to Motorcycle Heaven. Thank you!
RIP Peter Fonda thanks for the movies!
Im sad that he never came to Lon , wouldve loved to have meg him at a con , re-united with his buddy Dennis , his father and also Mr Rooney

I'm now a 42 y.o. engineer driving an SUV but, hey, I still pump this one and my daughter loves to mimic like we're riding on motorbikes!❤️
в этом клипе упущен важный момент: главный герой выбрасывает часы,
этот жест - символ начала свободной жизни,
ведь фильм именно о свободе!
Had a big crush on him way back when...
Now, he is gone. Shine on, Peter...

Hope you will be fit soon bro!
- a biker bro
TheBonScott33 i love you
TheBonScott33 Glad to hear it.. exactly what I did following a bad one many years ago that wasn't my fault....
I listen to this song while i m working in the Hospital
La canción más escogida para series y peliculas, imposible resistirse😎🔥

great song thanks for the tunes. RIP Peter Fonda good movie.
I brought my daughter home from the hospital, with this jamming!!! ;)
1969!!!
50 years and this song is still really good

One of my dad’s favourites, same for me. This is what I imagined he was doing in the early 70s

I took my son to see “Easy Rider” last week on the big screen because I love this movie. Thank you Peter Fonda for this powerful film. It speaks to tolerance, individualism and bravery. I see you now on your bike Captain America. Blessings and strength to your family.
Did you use a time machine?
Heck the only way i can watch this movie is once every three years on tv re run
Thanks for introducing the next generation.
Excellent song 🎵 🎉and incredible video 🎉🎉. That's when music 🎶 🎵 was actually music 🎶 🎵
Love this song reminds of my Wild Child Days of the 1970's! No regrets! Pure fun!

Celebrated my 70th birthday in Port A on Texas coast last weekend and beach DJ asked what song I wanted played. Without skipping a heartbeat, this one exploded in my head. Been feeling the wind in my (now thinned) hair for 53 years. Right after the snare cracks open the song, I'm 18 and a true nature child...
