I did 4-way window pane with Jim & Ray in 1968 & Jim was incredibly lucid for doing the full 4-way pane. I did 1/4 & i was seeing trails and the walls were melting & the floor turned into a river. I was treading water as Jim bought me a shot of bourbon & a miller beer to chase it down..

My mom loved the Lord with all her heart and died early at 51. As a small child I would see her in the kitchen doing dishes and she would be singing this old song. My how I miss her tonight. Hug your living loved ones and tell them how much you love them because when the Lord takes them home it will change you forever. I am 65 now but I still remember her singing this like it was yesterday. May this song bring you hope and comfort!

I was in undergrad in the early 90s, and The Doors movie had come out, my uncle Chris had introduced me to The Doors as a kid, and me and a couple fellow college students who worked together serving as waitstaff would go to an extra room of my friend Nancy's Heritage Hill rented home... she had blacked out any light with paint and put up glow in the dark stars...there were tons of pillows and we'd go up to the room, smoke a little herb, and play Riders On The Storm....what a gem of a time!

А у нас это началось с развалом Союза. Причем лавинообразно во всех сферах.

I loved this song when it first released and I was a young lad finishing up his senior year and looking forward to graduate school. Still have all the words memorized to this day, but had not listened to it for probably 20 years. Listening to it today, I realize: Jim really was a wise man. Просто эти люди такие как Моррисон, Кен Кизи в литературе, очень сильно прочувствовали этот процесс дегуманизации, который начался на Западе примерно на рубеже 50-60-ых - хиппи это как раз молодежный протест против всей этой материальной культуры - и выдали свое отношение. А у нас это началось с развалом Союза. Причем лавинообразно во всех сферах.

I loved this song when it first released and I was a young lad finishing up his senior year and looking forward to graduate school. Still have all the words memorized to this day, but had not listened to it for probably 20 years. Listening to it today, I realize: Jim really was a wise man. Such a shame that he had to move on from our world so early.

@@lantingliu7886 I found the Doors to be a bit weak , probably because they lacked a bass player . The material was a bit thin too . On this song however , all four played out of their skins . Even the session bassist came up with a killer bassline . Pure magic
