I'm getting back into dancing after a 10 year break (lol) and I'm so grateful for your channel! I already feel more flexible and capable and I'm excited to keep going ily :)
I really need this talk and stretch. Lately, I've been receiving a lot of hate and negative comments on tiktok and they've made me avoid tiktok altogether for the past week. My confidence took a hit. This video and your advice was just what I needed. The thing I'm going to challenge myself to do, even though it's scary or kinda silly, as you mentioned, is face tiktok again and start posting again. Thank you so much for this! I'm a huge supporter. Keep up the great work. The dance community is blessed to have you!
Perfect timing, I was about to watch one of your most recent stretch routines to unwind after my sports session, and I clicked *so fast* when I saw there was a new one. Loved the chat about confidence too, it's really heartwarming and comforting. I'm trying to get better at drawing (and it's a bit like flexibility, a lot of practice and small steps at a time), but I'm always really scared to share the result for fear of being mocked. I guess I'll work on that! Thank you for the video, and take care~
I used to be a pre-professional dancer before I decided to study something different but ever since I stopped I've missed it. I think getting back into dance, ballet, and stretching without judging myself or what my body may or may not be capable of anymore is how I will build some confidence.
i recently got tendonitis in my foot (idk how to spell it lol) and i have hypermobility which makes it a lot worse hahaha but ur vids have been helping me gain more strength for ballet/modern/contemporary so ty sm!!!
Hello Kayleen! This is very helpful!!! Currently in my front splits, my inflexible side is able to keep my front leg in contact with the ground. However, my back leg still needs an inch more to reach the ground. This hasn't really been Improving ever since. Got any suggestions? Have a beautiful day Kayleen! Reverence🙏
thank you so much for the alk and your videos. Its nice to listen to good advice while stretching other than our own voice that tends to judge before anything.
First of all, thank you for this amazing stretch! Second, my confidence boost I’m going to do tomorrow is go to the front for petit allegro! I am a ballerina, and petit allegro is my enemy haha! I will report back tomorrow if I did it! Edit: I did it!! Yay!! It’s nowhere near as scary as you think haha!
take action when you feel like you are ready otherwise you will shake your confidence. not 'needing' to put yourself in uncomfortable situations to prove you are strong, or anything that doesnt feel right. when your are already strong.... confident, well being and all that is easy and comes.
Let me know if you liked this style of stretch routine and what I should chat about next! :-)
I love it, thank you :)
maybe you could talk about what dance means for you
This is probably my fav RUclips channel! I feel like this video has given me a bit of a confidence boost, thank you :)

Thank you! Please don’t stop making these videos. It’s great to stretch with someone
