I think it's great that you're doing your traveling while you're young I'm in my early 60s and was planning on traveling during these years but because I became disabled I can no longer travel like I want to. Always believed middle aged was 50 but its not. Not every one lives to 100. You get so tied up with work and things and put your life a side Live your life as soon as you can. Go where you want to go.

What a wonderful video and fantastic celebration. My favourite country and feeling old as was around 40 years ago that I was in Cappadocia! Turkey is a fantastic country. Back then don't recall they did the balloon rides but certainly remember crawling through the caves/underground cities.

Luckely you... One of my brothers got balloon ride as a birthday present, turned into his 50th. The group hunted for the right wind all over Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. At 9 pm, it stoped, causef by wrong wind. They told us, that it is illegal to fly balloon when it is dark. He did not get money back, either came back another day. He was so sad about it, so he never went back. Neither did we.

I've been lucky to have spent one night in Cappadocia and our group were so mesmorised by the landscape, vistas and the smurf like hotel we were staying in we would have given the world to stay longer if we could but unfortunately we had to get back to Istanbul for a meeting. Didn't get to experience it in any of the depth you did so thank you for the insight. I agree it is well worth going, the landscape was like nothing I had ever experienced, it is unique, stunning and stretches for miles.

I was lucky enough to go up in a hot air balloon years ago over Wiltshire and it was amazing, although we did have a crash landing and I thought I was gonna die; but I didn’t 🤗

I went caving and potholing on a school trip in the 80's in Brecon Beacons and at one point we had to squeeze through a hole called The Letterbox, which was sooo small, underground 😭
I got stuck and had a massive panic attack (which was so embarrassing in front of other pupils).
After being reassured by the guides and calmed down I eventually got through, such relief!
Even thinking about it now gives me palpitations.
It stems from being locked in a suitcase as a toddler by some neighbour children 😭
I wouldn't even step one foot in those caves 🥺
