The Bath Christmas Markets run from 24th December to 11th December and are free to enter.

🍆The Miso Glaze was brushed on top of aubergines for baking or skillet:
- 3 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp white miso paste
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp chopped ginger
- 3 tsps sweetener (we used date syrup)
Baste the aubergines as they cook
We stayed for the whole time in Charlotte Street car park, which cost just £1.50 for an evening. Or £17 approx for 24 hours. We believe it was guard patrolled as opposed to ANPR

Beautiful place I always wanted to try the baths,lovley food,fab as usual awwwa Liam your so lovley,the thought behind your grandads inheritance I wish my son was as thoughtful,well not him but his wife she thinks I'm a one arm bandit.
I know you will put a lot of thought into how you use it bless you,maybe your grandad had a favourite place he liked on his travels maybe you could visit in his memory.

Good to see you had a 100 billion pounds of respect & Gratitude for ya Grand Father mind you His Soul is at Liberty to go on his next adventure within the Fourth dimension where only special few can go. While half of your fathers DNA is all about your grand father and atleast 25% of yourself is identical to your grandfather for it is true He can never leave you feel not forsaken nor never without his presence within every cell of your Flesh & bone there your grandfather walks with you in every step & every breath & every new horizon your adventures breach so on every adventure you take you walk with him

All said and done, could you see this as a permanent lifestyle (assuming you had enough money that you didn't need a job etc.) I've been considering doing just that, but can't help wondering what 'purpose' there'd be.

I had an inheritance from my parents last year, and am buying a campervan for the first time. So grateful to them,and I know they would be pleased❤️
I absolutely love watching you both and am so envious of your travels! Liam when you spoke of your granddad with love and appreciation for him I understood your feelings. My dad passed almost two months ago in an horrific battle with cancer. My mum passed two years ago and dad was totally devastated, as I have been but she was his everything and the sorrow, I feel, was part of his passing. Your granddad would be very proud of you. Bath is somewhere I have been longing to see. I hope to go there ASAP. Xx
The Roman baths actually are worth a look. I was there with my wife in 2006 and found it very interesting. Considering they are over 2000 years old there's still a lot to be seen and you get a good sense of how the Roman technology and society worked.

Hi Guys, hope you are well, regarding your oven i have the same one and mine kept doing the same thing my gas pressure had crept up on the regulator to the bottle, now i’ve reset it (i’am a gas fitter) it works fine the other thing it looks like the burner needs a service as its a bit of a yellow flame also the thermocouple needs to be checked at the same time, also why is the ignition not working as continuously lighting it with a match could leave debris in/on the burner, So the best thing to do is get things checked by a good Gas safe registered fitter. Hope all goes well Keith.

Hi guys. Learnt to swim in the Roman Cross Baths in the 1960s when the water was was very green and the bottom slimy. 9 years ago this month, my wife and I got married by the main Roman baths…..steam rising off the water, centurions around the parapet silhouetted by the Abbey’s lights. An amazing venue. Thank my lucky stars that I am a surveyor in the city, and have been checking the properties here for decades. Glad you too also enjoyed our city. Safe travels.
Sorry to hear about your grandad Liam. As far as your inheritance goes I can completely understand. My grandmother died just after I got married and it would have been so easy to spend it on stuff for the house but decided instead to buy National Trust Life Membership (individual pays for you plus one other). Every time I visit a property or NT carpark I can remember and thank my Nanna. We did the same for our daughter when my mother, her granny, died. With all your travelling around I know you would get good use of it and it lasts your lifetime! x

Oven thermostat, blocked ventilation or low on gas/ faulty regulator.
I'd probably start with the safety thermostat. The one that shuts the gas off if it doesn't light. . Obviously it's lighting but if it's faulty it's not keeping the valve open. I'd get it serviced by a gas oven engineer.

Great video and so glad you enjoyed the Bath Christmas Market. We visited for the nth time on Nov-28/30 - had a super couple of days even with the River Avon in flood and quite cold/foggy. We've been to Christmas Markets in Birmingham, Montreux, Berlin (Gendarmenmarkt & Spandau) and Brussels, over the years. Bath certainly deserves to be rated in the top 8 and for us is tops in England. The city is also great to visit in the summer, too. 👍

I had the same thing 18 years ago when my father passed away, 18 years on I'm still on the journey making sure I do the right thing.
Just like to point out I'm not wealthy but comfortable. Still have to work to pay the ever increasing bills and if I could I would give everything up to have my dad back for even just one day ❤️

Like your channel. About your cough. Wear a scarf & when you go out cover your mouth, breath through nose to protect your throat & lungs from the chill in the air. Then you can pull it down when your body gets use to the cold to talk. I was known for my cough till a doctor told me this. I haven’t had the cough for years now. Protect your lungs from cold blasts from the first change in air temp.

What a great vlog. I was in Bath in October when visiting the UK. Second time I have been, I absolutely love the place, it is beautiful. We took a boat trip down the river Avon which was great . The first visit we did the spa but this time we stayed at the The Gainsborough Hotel opposite the spa and that has the spa waters pumped straight into their spa area which was amazing. I will definitely visit again when I have a place in the UK next year to see the Christmas market. Thanks again to both of you for doing these videos, I really look forward to them. So lovely of your grandad to leave you that money Liam, I agree that you need to think of something really special and memorable to use it on to honour his memory. ❤

The first town I lived in in 1992 when I left school in Australia and moved to the uk was Bath. 9 hills and in the centre the Abbey and pump rooms. I lived on 333 Newbridge Rd

I lost both my grandma's in the space of about 8 months and am now grandparent-less. It was really sad, but they both lived very long lives and I am lucky to have had such great people in my life! I am sorry for you loss, but hope you do something fun to honour his memory! 💜🫀

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your grandfather, I'm sure it brought his heart joy to see that you have carried on his lifestyle of adventure and exploration, and that you have such an amazing and beautiful wife to share and enjoy your life with.
I have just found your channel and watched several of your videos which are absolutely brilliant. I have know idea how you manage to find the time to create such professional editing and create such good videos. Do you share the editing. I am also super impressed with the foody bits of your films. After my wife passed away a few years ago I sold our bigger van and Iconverted a Renault Kangoo just for me. It could fit into the back of your van. However, the North Devon and Exmoor area, which I know very well, is quite doable. I spent a a whole month in mid Wales during September which was brilliant. So the Elan valley, the area North of Llandovery, the Brecon area and the Black mountains are all worth a visit. Well done to you both.

Such a lovely Christmassy video. The spas sound amazing. I can’t skate for toffee either Janine. My friends think it’s funny to drag me to the middle and watch me struggle back to the side, usually on my hands and knees. The food looked amazing. The Christmas market looking wonderful. The wooden duck gifts looked beautiful and so kind of him. Janine, I hope you get your cough sorted soon. With your Grandad’s inheritance you could perhaps buy something that reminds you of him, or something like a St Christopher medal or a mini engraved picture of your Nan and Grandad medal for Morgan that you could hang on the rear view mirror and see every day when you go on your next adventure. The water comes out of the earth super hot , the Bath Thermae have to cool it before they use it !

Hi see your cough is back. I’ve a thickly cough all year round. Try this to soothe as it really helps. Ginger Manuka honey and lemon. Cut a chunk of fresh ginger, peel it abs grate it onto a kitchen sheet. Scrape out the ginger from the grater. Then gather up in kitchen roll and squeeze out juice into a cup. You will get a teaspoon of fresh ginger juice. Mix with fresh lemon and Manuka honey with hot water. The ginger is antiseptic and warming for the throat. Joanne x

it looks like your oven probably uses a thermal coupling , make sure you have a good pilot flame going to it. The thermal coupling could be going bad. what it does is when it gets heated up in the flame it produces millivolts which goes back to the gas valve and allows it to stay open. this is a safety feature , you don't want the gas valve to dump gas into the oven when it's not lite. The gas valve on the unit could also be going bad . hope that helps
Glad to see you managing another city park up with no dramas, although I know the feeling of getting a knock on the door especially when tired and that’s drama enough! Thankfully they turned out to be friendly.
It sounds like you need to plan a special adventure that your grandad would absolutely have been happy to see you enjoy. £2k doesn’t go far but memories that you can treasure forever are priceless.

Sounds like y have a bit of bronchitis ... that may be set off by spec dry or moist climate.
Air the van at least 3 times a day for 10 min... 😊 some may need an inhalator to help.
