OUR JACKERY POWERBANK
We are in fact travelling with a Jackery Explorer 1000 and we LOVE IT! Does what we need. But Jackery have just brought out the NEW Jackery Solar Generator 1500 Pro - which is more powerful and it's quicker charging too. Here are the links to check it out:

Our overall plan in India is to travel via rickshaw/tuk tuk from the South to North (if it's possible?) The next leg of our journey is to travel the rest of the way through Karnataka and then up to Maharashta
We feel like we have only just arrived in India, after a crazy time back home doing van life and living full time in our camper van conversion for two years in the UK. But after some serious engine problems that cost us a fortune, we came to India on a mission to honour Liam's Grandad's legacy who sadly died earlier this year. With the inheritance money Liam got from that, we bought the tuk tuk and named it after Liam's Grandad.

Keep heading North, to Haridwar where the Ganga picks up speed gushing over rocks and bolders, then board a labouring bus for 3 days zig-zagging higher and higher to Badrinath. On the way there are places you look out the window and see below where the bus has climbed, counting 8 hairpin bends. Staggering! At night looking ahead out the window you think you are seeing twinkling stars in the night sky. But they are people's house lights high up in the mountains!
The road is only open at certain times of the year. Along the way many sadhus are walking on the road. And when the bus stops and passengers get out for a stretch, you see marijuana plants growing by the sides of the road. Once you get to Badrinsth there may be snow but at the temple there are natural hot springs where you bathe.
I don't even want to hazzard a guess where you will meet your greatest travel challenge. India in summer is a huge challenge! August seemed the most steaming. You pray for storms and rain😂
My son and myself visited India in 2005, seeing the Taj Mahal for the first time made the hairs stand up on the back of our necks and lots of sights of Incrediable northern India and then on to Nepal.
I like how you and janine are always happy and smiling, that's the reason I subscribed after your van life video. Good vibes you people.
🙏🥳
Fantastic and thank you for bringing me your journey through India. Being disabled I am unable to visit personally but in a round about way I feel I am travelling as well but through both of you.
Awww. The way Liam looked at Janine in that lift.......❤
Great spots!
Every part of India is different and diverse!
So true
Thank you guys.I have always wanted to see the Taj Mahal and go to Rishikesh and The Beatles Ashram .This is the next best thing .💚💚💚
Proper pilgrimage for us
@@ThoseHappyDays 💚💚💚
Thank you SO much for your videos of your trip in India! I LOVE watching them every Sunday...Will you go back to posting twice a week? I anxiously await each Sunday! I have never seen such beautiful videos of India...I really feel like I am there with you! Here's to one day I visit India!:)
Me too, it’s been groundbreaking. Considering Liam has a surprise for us where he next visits. I hope it’s not America 🇺🇸 because touring America is so samey and boring after Tread the Globes brave tour around America and to the Arctic Circle ! Also the Roaming Radfords has shown us the Glamorous side of American Touring Life. Perleaze do not inflict America 🇺🇸 on us after this powerful Series 🙏 .
Lovely way to spend a Sunday morning in the UK immersing myself in your Indian journey.
I agree Kevin 😊
I too agree
Loved this , you have completely opened India up to me . Can’t wait for the next part , take good care both of you x
Thank you, pleased you enjoyed this one 😄
Ask them for NORTH EAST india please
@@ThoseHappyDays I guess you guys are going to rent a bike and do ride to Gangotri or Kedarnath. And if you are not going to do that then I would suggest you consider doing that. Have a good time.
@@ThoseHappyDays Sorry to correct you but these two words are mispronouced a lot by foreigners Punjab and Ganges and yes that is not totally your fault becuase these words ahs been mis-spelt that is why this confusion occurs. So here is the correct pronotciation or you can search for hindi pronounciation of these two words on google. The Punjab is pronouced as Pan-jaab and Ganges is pronounced as Gangaa or as Sanatani Hindus say Maa Gangaa where Maa means mother.
Never knew Inda had so much to offer, thank you for sharing.
💃💃💃
@@ThoseHappyDays hi loved to see your video from Melbourne australia and recommend you tallest statue (statue of unity)and lion safari in gir forest where 500 lions but must book lion safari in early morning
Then please! Pay a visit to india and go to North east india as well
We have so much to offer!!
Liam another fantastic video, so professionally done. You sure have opened my eyes to India. Cant wait to see the next one. Stay safe.xx
Thank you, pleased you enjoyed this one 😄
The Taj Mahal is extraordinary, like poetry in marble. I have been twice, at dawn. You approach in the dark and go in as the sun rises and the light and color changes. Amazing!
Call us crazy but things are going right! So grateful that y'all have taken us on this trip, it's just been so fun & informative, Thank You!
Also, how Pretty is that water? Emerald, teal, blue water! I love that India is so Colorful everywhere 🛺🌈
So true, most colourful country you can visit 🇮🇳🙏
You going on a Himalayan mountain trek? What ever it is sure to be another great experience. Very interesting, the differences between S and N India. Thanks for this and see you next time.✌️🙏
A latitudinal line drawn straight around Mumbai is kind of the boundary between the north and south, now-days.
You can see the culture change drastically like a slider bar for contrast/paint settings , as you go further up from south to north or north to south. And like a paint pallete, there is a lot of regional diversity between neighbouring provinces and the same province, in terms of culture, people, practices.
India is a fabric of contrasting diversity. Unity in diversity is often the topic on the minds of many Indians.
Another brilliant video. Thoroughly enjoying your India adventures.
So pleased 🙏🙏🙏
Wonderfully presented again, wow the country is so vibrant and the colours are epic, just wish I could be with you both, well I am really virtually, never thought India could be such a beautiful country, how wrong was I !!! Safe travels, can’t wait for next Sunday’s surprise??? 😅xxx ❤
Your preconceptions about India probably reflect the false British media and academic presentations that India was a land of eternal poverty and famine [I have lived in the UK since 1967]. Prior to British occupation, looting, deindustrialization etc. India was the richest economy in the world, producing the best steel in the world (wootz), a major shipbuilder, amking guns and cannon as good as in the West and dominating the world market in cotton textiles. As Prof. Jason Hickel tells us in his 2018 online article "How Britain Stole $45 Trillion from India: And Lied About It", it was Britain's development with its Industrial Revolution that was financed by 'loot' (the Hindi word for plunder) from India whilst India was left pauperised. As Hickel indicates, they also killed tens of millions of Indians by creating some three dozen manmade famines, taking India's foodgrains for British Food Security and Profit. No wonder that George Orwell wrote in 'The Road to Wigan Pier' (1936) that 100 million Indians must be forced to the edge of starvation so that the British can live in comfort.
Lucky to not live in
I've never really fancied going to India, but your videos have really opened my eyes. It's so beautiful! I really want to go now!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
This has made my Sunday morning! 😊 Thank you, brilliant video. Rishikesh is my happy place. 🇮🇳🧘♀️🕉
😄😄🥳🥳
Liked your videos very much. You are such good content creators and North India is a superb place to be. Wow. Thanks
So pleased you enjoyed this one
I envy you both. Great filming, great narration, great production and a great chemistry between you both. What a journey 🙏
Nice to see the locals looking after you with the taxi driver.
✌♥️🇬🇧
I wish India showed more of its temples that are so amazing in architecture and date back 100'5 and even 1000(+) years that are spread out across India. There are far more fascinating in scale, size, architecture, history and even mystery than the over rated Western designed tourist attraction that is the Taj Mahal while ignoring everything that surpasses the Taj Mahal.
What a wonderful video. Really opened my eyes to the wonders of India. Thank you xx
💃🇮🇳 so pleased you enjoyed it
Two very nice people sharing the best travel documentary I have seen. So good and so uplifting. Thank you.
🇮🇳💃
Great video guys as always! I'm guessing you'll be heading into the foothills proper? I visited the other side of the foothills during a visit to the USSR as it was then in the 80s. Around Dushanbe. Tingly and lightheadedness too. Enjoy! Looking forward to next week's ❤️🇮🇳
How things have changed. in 40 years, II visited the Taj at dawn, midday and dusk, at times I had the place to myself, never charged a thing. !!!
Absolutely love India .. i reckon you will be trekking the Himalayas 🙂
⛰️ 🌄
Wonderful Dears.. I am a South Indian- AUSSIE.. Not been to North India In my life...
Thrill to watch you from SOUTH to North...
More live and direct emotions on your each & every visit...

Pradeep.

Really appreciate the honest feedback
Really enjoyed your journey around India.
Thanks so much, so pleased you enjoyed it 🙏
Yippee! Can't wait to get to Rishikesh (with you). Very glad you decided to take the long ride taxi to Rishikesh😊
💃💃 let's see how we go 🇮🇳💖
Thanks for your videos.
North India is very different to South India.
People in the south are much more hospitable and trustworthy in my opinion.
It would be great if you guys put out a video once your entire trip is over detailing the pros and cons of different parts of India including people, food, weather etc.
We'd love to do this, and just might do it based on your great suggestion
That's a good idea
Have you been to India before?
That's a very, very, very broad generalisation pal.
Except Delhi agra Jaipur. Rest places in north India hospitable and trustworthy too, just like South India and north east india.
Delhi has foriegn refugees, rohingyas, other migrants from all over the world in Delhi working so they have different culture.
Well done to Janine for powering through the physical drains of all these huge travels. Thank you for sharing such amazing places I may not get to visit.
Thank you and Janine do pace yourself. We will wait for videos if needed. Thanks again
Guys a big thanks 🙏🏻 for going to Tapovan in Rishikesh. I needed to see it as I was there in 2019 and will be staying there for a month This coming October. I've been visualizing being back there a lot recently. The "Tingling" energy you felt I felt as well. It's because of the innumerable sadhus, yogis and rishi's who have been there doing their meditation for thousands of years.
Jai Rishikesh 🇮🇳😎🙏🏻!
Great video, wonderful area with the Taj, lots of tiring travel to reach the wonderful Ganges, but I thought that there might be more things to do with the Beatles,ah well never mind. Thanks for sharing your experience and journey, take care both.
I enjoyed my Sunday morning travels with you. Always sorry to get to the end of the video but looking forward to next week. Haven’t a clue what your big adventure is I’m afraid. Safe travels as always ❤

With all the people visiting the Taj Mahal. It makes you wonder how they got the photo of DIANA by herself... Magnificent ❤️🙏
I think it's gotten so much busier over the years
they briefly close the place for regular guys when eminent people visits
Its been a few years since we were there, but we went for sunrise ine day, which was much quieter.

Great video! Thanks for taking us into the Taj. If you were carrying more gear l’d say you were heading for Base Camp but maybe you’re going to see the Dalai Lama. Whatever, it will be a wonderful surprise for all of us counting the days until your next video. Blessings. ❤

Hi Liam and Janine, I just watched your latest vlog, absolutely brilliant production once again what's an adventure you guys are on. The Taj Mahal looks amazing. Looking
Forward to the next leg of your fantastic adventure around India. Well done guys👍 it's going to be so quiet when you come back to the UK 😂 safe travels❤💙 Steve 🏴
Hi Janine and Liam been following you for 2years, I’ve seen yous go from strength to strength on you tube, fabulous couple I look forward to sundays, your India travels have been amazing, can’t wait to see you back in Morgan, stay safe and look after each other.
Amazing documentary man. Your description on Rishikesh was too good, Impressive
FANTASTIC... thank you yet again!!!!!! :)
How exciting you made it to Rishikesh and the Beatles ashram, it's a tad sad to see it abandoned but glad people are still allowed to visit. My guess for your next adventure is that you will attempt white water rafting but I'm also wondering if maybe you'll be taking some extreme yoga class haha. Whatever it is, looking forward to it. Keep safe, have read North India is experiencing very strong heat.
As always your travels are so amazing. Although, I am sure more than what you show is very difficult to move about from one place to another. Oh, that long train ride. As you continue in India and prepare to return to the UK I and know others are looking forward to the many cooking times that you shared so much with us. I discovered your channel several months now and has changed also my eating which is a plus with the type of foods Morgan and your van had. So there is Pete the Rickshaw (so cool), Morgan (the big green machine), and forgot the other campers' names. My Mom named our vehicles as we grew up traveling also in a military family. We had a VW Bus in Germany and with then 6 children went about when Dad was off from the Army to various places. Ate and slept in it. So, much fun.
Your videos are amazing, I love how informative they are x
Every time I watch your videos, it just makes me want to travel. See you next week . Love you guys
Looks fantastic 😊great video 😊thank you
Oh my word Liam and Janine, your videos are so amazing. Following you as your tour through Inda has been brilliant, and I feel like I am experiencing India through you both. The sites, the people, and the vegan/veggie amazing foods. Love it. What an amazing country. I am already looking forward to watching your next video but I have no clue as to what it is going to be about. Oh well, no metaphorical prize me Liam lol 😉😁❤ xx
So interesting thx guys!! 🙏🙏
