I can't even describe how much I love Turkey, Turkish people, Turkish culture and history. It was my first foreign country I visited in my childhood and I remember how I was impressed! Such a beautiful country!
And 4 years ago I visited Turkey with my husband and son. One thing in turkey made me love it's people forever. Their endless and unconditional love to children. My son got a loooot of attention and when we came back to Moscow, he seemed to be depressed because nobody was smiling to him.
I miss Turkey and wish to come again but now with my husband, son and little daughter ❤ in sha Allah

I'm a British Turk born in Istanbul yet I've never been to Cappadocia but I've always wanted to. There are too many distractions especially when you have family there. I'm definately going to go I'm determined. It was lovely seeing you take your mum there and I see you had a great time. It's an amazing place! I do photography and its definately a good location for that... Lots of love

It's funny to see this now. Michael Palin's series exploring eastern Europe included a trip to this area - and the Beeb put the series out a few weeks ago. He took a trip to this area and met a German guy living there with his Turkish wife. That was probably 20 years ago - but I wonder what has happened to them.

When the Emperor Constantine split the Roman Empire in two, he moved to a city called then New Rome. That name was changed to Constantinople, and later Istanbul. He himself chose to live in Turkey because he had spent time there as a Legionnaire and had fallen in love with Cappacocia. He said the best horses came from there.

You are full of surprises, Eli. We never know where you are going to take us next! What an amazing part of the world. And again the people are always kind and welcoming. I was amused by the fact that though those stone homes look ancient, they provide modern conveniences like WiFi! (In America we would call the parallel grooves in the walls "corrugated.") Art is always unique and beauriful no matter where you go. Who would know they have a hot air balloon convention there? Those overhead drone shots of the hot air balloons were amazing! Nice to see your mom!! She raised a terrific daughter. Always love your comments at the end.
