I've gotta say, you guys came suggested by RUclips when you were searching for Morgan. You became one of my favorite channels pretty much instantly. A few days ago I went back and started watching since the sale of your caravan (I think that's what you call it?) And I think you're doing amazing. Morgan is definitely more well suited for you guys (edit to say I meant more suitable than Frida) and I love that it's more like a tiny apartment on wheels. He's beautiful ❤️

Thank you for showing this. My grandparents had a small hotel in Blackpool for many years and the illuminations is one of my most favourite childhood memories. We moved to Canada when I was 5. The first trip I took my kids to England when they were 2 and 3 was to see the Blackpool illuminations. That was 25 years ago. Nice trip down memory lane😊

Hi Guys, I saw morgan parked up on Southport prom Saturday evening. I was there for a car meet. I walked up maybe half a mile to come meet you both (not easy with one leg) and I got 50ft away and you drove off..lol Maybe next time !

Loved the video guys but St Anne's (the huge beach with sand hills) and Blackpool are two totally different places 🙈
Lytham, St Anne's is a quiet little seaside town perfect for van lifers. Blackpool is where the illuminations are and it's a lot busier and more built up.
If you carry on up from the sandhills towards Lytham you'd have come across even more park ups and Fairhaven Lake which is beautiful, also the cute town of Lytham with a windmill and huge green. You should definately visit again and do a proper adventure around the area 😊

Hi guys I've noticed you've got a GB sticker on Morgan which you'll need to change to a UK one before going into Europe or you could get fined.
Also you may carry them anyway but you'll need your V5, insurance certificate, driving licence, Hi vis waistcoats, Bulb kit, 1st aid kit and fire extinguisher and possibly snow chains in the winter.

Janine: Best thing for frizzy hair is a few drops of Jojoba Oil on damp hair. Seriously, better than all the commercial anti-frizz products I've tried. Jojoba oil can also used to cleanse and moisturize skin. I refill a small bottle in natural food stores.

Plenty of work going on with Morgan, think you have to carry spare bulbs and breakdown triangle as well as stick on headlight lens that direct you full beam slightly to the right instead of the left, you probably have checked that out but thought I would mention it just in case. Blackpool lights were lovely, happy travelling and hair drying😊

Get an external gas filling point fitted on outside of the van as alot of petrol stations won't let you fill a gas bottle even a proper refillable one, and with external filler they will just think the van runs on LPG.
As an fyi, Tesco have advertised that they will not apply Roaming Charges when using mobiles in Europe for the time being.
I had a 3 month tour of France, Spain and Portugal recently and did not have to worry about connectivity or have the worry of a surprise in my phone bill. 😄

It was 93F here in Florida yesterday with loads of humidity. So envious of your FALL. Well we are going to start being in the mid 80'sF so Fall is beginning for a change Here also. I spent the whole day cleaning my van yesterday after getting it back from her very long stay in van hospital. I get confused with watts etc and how powerful the inverter needs to be, so I don't use it lol. you need the power Janine for hair. I ended up watching your video in bed late last night. Great content guys, you will feel secure when in Europe knowing that all your equipment/van in peak condition. Can't wait to follow your journey. Michelle x

Hey guys, its me again 😆. If you'd habe continued through the lights, past the tower, through to Gynn square you would have come to the roundabout with a replica spitfire plane in the centre, onwatd to that follow the main road down the same coastal road sognposted Bispham, there you will find huge tablet style lights that are anamatronic. Have a search for a page called the rambling rose (type shorts in too that will help) afew videos on there. ✌

Loved the vid guys. North Wales is on the left! Barrow in Furness not Solway and the hills you see to the north are south Cumbria. The bit of Wales you can see is Prestatyn, not Anglesey. In between Southport and Prestatyn, you can see the very northern tip of the Wirral. The St Annes beach you were on isn't Blackpool beach it is St Anne's beach. If you carry on along the coast you can visit Lytham which has a beautiful walkway. So glad you came to the North West of England. 🤗🤗 WOW - what amazing photography. Your are the best. xx

Remembering childhood spent with visits to the illuminations! Then there were so many more - all humorous or fantastic scenes, they were all sold off a few years ago as they wanted to change to led.

You need a quick dry micro fiber hair towel .. for when you are off grid etc . Always good to have a back up! Pleased for your upgrade though 😉
Looks like you'll need more solar panels to charge that battery - about 700 watts should do it. A Victron Orion battery to battery charger is also an essential bit of kit

We had our moho from Oaktree they also fitted our Solar and lithium batteries and inverter they are brilliant. Looking forward to your travels we are in Portugal at the monet for 8 weeks in our moho

the fylde coast is literally 20 minutes from where I live. I've yet to use Viv-i-van due to adblue probs again but lytham is where I'll do my first wildcamp. Next time you come up, you can also stay at Fleetwood for a fiver a night. I've been fascinated with the terrific 360 camera work and the video editing was brilliant. I can take or leave blackpool but you made it look epic. Cant wait to see what you guys get up to with the legends that are Neil and Emma from "Urban vanlife" ( I'm a huuuuge fan of them like I am of you both) in your video on sunday. It will be epic....all the best-Kenny.

Janine, I know it's a thrill for u to be able at last to use ur hair dryer in the van any time of day and cannot believe you were unable to use one over those cold, damp winter months! wow! maybe, the cough you had at that time was due to having a wet head! Now that you're good on electrical power, you may consider purchasing/using an air fryer. I use it to fast cook anything deliciously, including fresh cauliflower, broccoli and other cruciferous veggies, and potatoes that would normally take time to cook on a gas burner. It's great for heating up leftovers as well (Indian curry--panek paneer, tamales, enchiladas) and even making chocolate chip cookies late at night (lol). I experienced the stunning illuminations in Blackpool for the first and last time way back in 1975 (visiting from the US) and later, it reminded me of a scene from the novel, "Remains of the Day" when on the pier, the lights turn on at dusk (in the gloaming) and everyone awaits for the darkness to settle in. With the far-tide beaches, Blackpool has a memorably dramatic and haunting landscape. I'll never forget it. You and Liam get so much done in one day I feel like a slug. Thank you for all the work and love you devote to producing such quality videos. Your trip to Europe will be a relaxing and enjoyable one because you'll be so well prepared! Aww I love Blackpool. It’s where we always took our 3
boys. We even went there on our honeymoon 25 years ago. That was so my Mum & Dad could come, and we could take our young Son too. He was only 3 at the time, so Mum & Dad being there meant we could still have lots of fun with our Son, then his Granny & Granda could have him staying in their room with them, giving us newlywed couple time too. 😉👰♀️🤵🏻💍So the best of both worlds for us. It’s where I holidayed as a child, so it’s a place close to my heart. Even this year, it was one of my main reasons for battling sepsis, after family of course, as I’d love to see the illuminations one more time. So I kinda have now, thanks to both of you 🥰
Janine, please do try to get back to Blackpool some day. There’s so many fun things to do. Going up the Blackpool Tower and walking on the glass floor, the circus, Tower ballroom, Pleasure Beach, and there’s a new horror tour at The Pleasure Beach at night, which looks fab!! 🗼🎡🎢🎠 Maybe after touring Europe! 😀

I was wondering why you’d left out the north west coast, glad you came! I have to point out though that where you parked was St Annes, not Blackpool! The beige bricked blocks of flats behind at 22:35 are called Royal Beach Court which were built by my Dad!
Next time you come park at North Beach Car Park which is next to St Anne’s Kitesurfing Club. Just a bit further towards Blackpool from where you were. The club is currently undergoing renovation and is due to open as a beach cafe with seafood and live music. The North Beach Car Park is specifically for motor homes and is £10 per night, £15 for two nights and there is direct access to the beach.
St Annes is a fabulous town with lots to do, an expansive beach, Victorian pier, lovely promenade, beach huts.. we’ve even got a cinema which is on South Promenade near the swimming pool and another motorhome car park which is on the beach front. A little further down the road, towards Preston, is Lytham which is also fabulous with a great buzz, lots of shops, eateries & bars. In between is an area called Fairhaven, the home to Fairhaven Lake which is definitely worth a visit. As well as the lake and lots of birds there’s an RSPB shop, cafe, tennis courts, bowling greens and crazy golf. You can take a boat on the lake too. There’s car parking which is by a coastal walk.

With all the attractions in Blackpool like the Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Tower & the Circus, the Golden Mile and all the shows there’s plenty in the area to keep you occupied for a few days!
PS: From North Beach Car Park you could walk along the beach or Clifton Drive (25mins) or get a bus to Blackpool Tram Depot at Squires Gate and then get a tram into Blackpool
