I enjoy watching the ‘craft workers ‘ who are so talented to bring the chateau back to its former glory . Amaury is the backbone of the team yet so understated , he doesn’t want to flaunt himself all the time , he just gets on with what needs to be achieved.

Stephanie, did you mention a while back that you’ve been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis? If so, the shivery feeling you get that makes you feel as if you’re coming down with flu is a symptom of rheumatoid arthritis. RA is an autoimmune disease, and it comes with a lot more symptoms than painful joints. Dry skin, flu like symptoms with no actual fever. Picking up bugs and germs at the drop of a hat, fatigue. I’ve battled this for the last 20 years and it still surprises me that there’s more to it than you first think. Really feel for you, if it is RA. It’s your channel, and the rest of the chateau channels that bring me joy and distract me from ‘the thing’ as I call it. Hope I haven’t depressed you. Watch Chateau Diaries if you feel a bit down, like I do. ❤❤❤❤

All of my husband’s grandparents came to the States from France having English as their second language with their first language being French. My family roots are surprisingly only British and a bit of Scandinavian even though we have been in the States since the 1700s… Our unusual family histories and our love of history, antiques and diy make us feel as if we could fit right in at Chateau de Lalande!! 😊 It’s always a joy to see such beautiful historical places come back to life!! It was great fun and I know you have no plans to do anything like that but there is definitely a place for pespto bismal colored paint. Just thought I'd share.

May want to check for COVID. The titers go up in the summer when people are out and about in groups. There are specific meds for COVID I hope it is just a cold. Either way, I wish you well!

A,Stephanie, your Mum looked lovely on her wedding day . I'm sorry, but I did have to laugh at your basin haircut as a child. 😃 I had to suffer it too! You do look sweet though, beautiful eyes. Love watching Chateau Diaries makes my day. Look forward to everything that goes on. X❤ x

Stephanie, I hope you get better soon. If you are still looking for a nice „pink“, rose color for the bedroom I can recommend I color I went for for ours. It is from „Painting the past“ the color „Oyster“ (number 89) we have it up for more than 10 years now and are just repainting it, exactly in this color. It is absolutely beautiful!

The chapel is looking magnificent! I love your walks through the secret gardens. I living in the wilderness of Montana will never have such a garden with a large herd of deer who eat everything in sight and an extreme over abundance of ground squirrels who take anything left 😂 so I enjoy your lovely gardens very much!

The chapel is just a work of art..it's obviously expensive but you can see how much is involved. The teams working on it are truly artists and please share with them just how much their work inspires awe and admiration ☺️

We once had a Pepto Bismal disaster in my living room. It looked much browner in the store and in small patches on the walls before the main disaster.
