Hey, I have an additional question for the Switch controller. Assuming you have a Steam account or play regular PC games, would there be a natural way to input both controllers the same way there or no?
Crazy Luigi Probably because on Steam you can use Playstation 4 Cotrollers and Steam Controllers and im also like 80% sure tou can use Xbox 360 and Xbox ONE Controllers. So Yes, as long as the Joy Cons have Bluetooth in them they should work! Hope I helped!

This is music to my ears! Honestly, the Switch Joy Con on Grip dock is by & large the most comfortable Controller I've used thus far - I can't wait to try this out for PC Games like DFO.

my computers bluetooth says they're connected, but it doesn't register any input at all. ive tried updating the drivers, but it says they are already up to date.
Well, that was nice of Nintendo to support this. I am sure those people who will inevitably be looking to create a Nintendo Switch Emulator will appreciate the fact they can use the official controllers. :P To be fair, it would still need to work to get full analogue support as well as support for the motion camera, amiibo reader, etc. but they've got a pretty good starting point.
It's a shame we don't have custom drivers yet. I was hoping to use the motion controls as well as take advantage of all the rumble features offered by joycon controllers.

I'm having the same problem, it connects and pairs fine, but then there's no input regardless of what I do. searching around there's been a lot of mention of a driver called vJoy, that seems legit enough but judging by everyone else comments and the video itself it shouldn't be necessary. edit: it may be surrounding the computer thinking that the controller needs to be physically plugged in
I have a program installed on my laptop called JoyToKey that allows me to map all keyboard controls to any connected controller. That could let you use the analog sticks to their full potential like for the mouse.
so if the joysticks read as a d-pad input. set them as wii mote for super smash bros Brawl as The wii mote has the least buttons used, D-pad for the Joystick 1 = A 2 = X, A (wiimote) = taunt button A+D-pad right/left = side taunt A+D-pad down = downtaunt A = uptaunt, then theres Grab and dodge Grab is minus so SL=minus and B is shield so SR, and taunt isn't needed so get those joycon wrist straps, for the other joycon the setup looks the same, so yeah I would NOT use any other setting, setting the joycons as wii motes is a MUST until the proper drivers are put into place
You can also use a program called UCR to remap the button inputs (joycon) into keys on your keyboard. e.g. the "A" button (joycon) becomes "D" on your keyboard. That way you can use both joycons *if your emulator doesn´t support two controllers at once*
1:23 Most important part but you rush it. My joy cons are recognized but nothing works with the keys. Even the calibration does not work. It's plugged in, but there's nothing you can do with it. Help

hey, this used to work for me but a couple months ago it stopped working. now the lights stay on the p1 spot and stop blinking (the home button also lights up) and inputs arent going to my pc anymore
I've been screwing around getting gamecube controllers to work (wich on some games, they just dont for some reason) meanwhile I just had joycons laying around and I didn't even realize I could use those!
I can only get one to pair. both show up in the menu but the lights aren't flashing on the second one that I pair and no inputs are read by that second joycon. the first joycon works perfectly
So something I found out is how when using both joy cons together, it won't be possible to play Melee completely accurate as there's a slight delay when using both that it won't register a smash move properly and keeps using dash attacks.
so like, this might be over-speculating, but because the joy con analog sticks are moreso a directional sort of thing, does that mean that if you were to play a game of smash melee or something, you wouldn't be able to transverse between walking and dashing easily? and if that is the case (which it probably isn't) that'd probably mean smash for the switch is deconfirmed. thinking emoji
Someone made a driver to allow the use of the gyroscope, and combine the controllers in a small GUI. Just google Joycon Driver, and download it from GitHub. Its pretty easy.
I did this and checked that all buttons work but only the right joycon works. I can’t move any characters in game, only can pan the camera and jump. Any suggestions? 😢
My laptop didn’t detect the joy con, it was on and searching but nothing was coming up on my laptop, I know it supports Bluetooth because I connected my Wii U pro controller to it before
Its asking me for a bluetooth passcode. No one else seems to be having this issue.. I also was able to connect it to a house hold laptop without it asking for a passkey. Any idea how to fix this?
Occasionally bluetooth adapters will require a pin even when none is provided. Could you try "0000"? Otherwise, I would suggest that you make sure your bluetooth adapter driver is up to date. Let me know how it goes!

Jacob Dinwiddie The pro controller has deadzone issues on pc. Pushing the analog in a certain direction won't register correctly on pc.

Pro controllers can sync to any PC but normal are just, well normal

You can play mega maker using the joycon sideways. I recommend using the left joycon.

Nintendo sells pairs of Joy-Con in Gray, Blue, Red, and Blue/Red. :)
