Hey everyone! Thanks for your patience with the upload schedule this week. I had some personal stuff to take care of which impacted my work. Hope you guys enjoy the new vid!
Was pretty different than most peoples formats on doing this show, but I liked it; you need to play more random NES games though so you're better at guessing what they're clones of lol.
CutieFakeKirby - הערוץ הרשמי oh well, that's sad, but I'm glad they stopped, anyway, which console were you supposed to buy and what type of bootleg did your parents bought?
I opened the cartridge for my gb station, and there is nothing other than a jumper wire on a pcb that connects 2 pins in the slot. In other words the cartridge only unlocks another menu and games that are allready on the console.
Same. I've got some old Gameboy games laying around that I use on my Gameboy Advance SP but I don't really play them because the lighting on the AGS-001 is disgusting in my opinion. Not to mention I've never owned something that looks like a Gameboy Color, so might as well go with the superior version :)
@Jiggolo! Or expect parents to realise that the thing that costs alot less and has a different put similar name and different but similar look is probably cheap and Chinese
The first ever "console" I owned was a bootleg Wii system called the Zone 60. It was the weirdest thing, but I remember having a lot of fun with it as a kid. Eventually it probably got thrown away but to this day I wish I still had it to entertain myself with some nostalgia, and then come to the realization that it sucks fumbuckets and that I was a naive, tasteless child.
Bro Nah, it was a Famiclone type game system that played these old bootleg games with "motion controls", but it wasn't real motion like, at all, a swing of the controller just imitated a button press. So it had bootleg motion controls too.
Oh...I see. Was it super expensive? Some of them are dirt cheap, like the PolyStation (which actually retains less features and gets worse with the newer and newer models), and then there's things like the 9800 MiWi, the WiWi (not lying about these names...) and there's also a red one with a name I can't remember...anyways, these ones had actual wireless controllers, which was cool, but the freakin' thing costs like $150 for that function alone.
I literally just finished watching JonTron’s video on bootlegged Pokémon games and saw you posted a video about bootlegged things as well! Haha what timing. Great video as always!
If you take a look at the menu of the PVP, these Angry Birds are from a RUclips Video called “Angry Birds Rio Trailer”. You can also look them at the thumbnail so it means it’s made after year 2011.
1:45 That smile says it all. "Whatta piece of junk !" This may or may not be helpful. I suspect those games that are listed with the exact same title may be the same game but may also play at a different level or player stats. You should check that to be sure.
@@johnnywheatbread4385 I love Adventure Island personally, though 2-4 and the SNES games are far superior to the original, and Wonder Boy is better than Adventure Island.

The GBASP bootleg is so well made it would fool anybody who doesn't know anything about consoles back at the time But hey, i wouldn't be mad if i received a GB Boy Colour instead of an original GBC

Imagine if it actually had 9000 different games and you loved or wanted to play the game at 4500... Imagine scrolling through all that to reach your game lol Btw, how can they use all those games withouy permission and not get sued?
They're all produced and shipped from China, where copyright/trademark law is much more lenient (as I understand) and there are thousands of manufacturers so it takes a good while for them to get through the process of banning sales. I think that's the gist of it. 😛
+VlogingwithCreamchiz 5 Colour is the British way to spell it. Though, it is odd that it's spelled as such for the GB Boy Colour when it's an unlicensed Chinese bootleg product.
Just found your channel the other day, I don't play Nintendo products anymore, but they have charm no one else has. Great channel. I love seeing knock off products. Makes our legit products look even better.
I remember my mom baught a game clone console (it was literally just a controller that looked like the n64 that connected to the tv with av cables) from a flea market. Supposedly it had like 1,000,000 games. It really only had like 30 but they repeated. Surprisingly it was really good for $20.
I remember as a kid my neighbor had something like that, it was an n64 controller with AV cables. I remember the different "games" would just be different levels of the like 30 games. These consoles used to be much more impressive before i discovered emulation.
This is hilarious, I love hilarious bootleg names. You should do a full playthrough of Donkey Kong 5: The Journey of Over Time and Space, because that sounds awesome.
Am I missing something? His name's Drew and he talks about Nintendo - is that really all it is? Because that's not even close to regular genius, much less super grade. If he was doing an internship with the company so he called his channel Ninterndrew, that'd be at least gifted but genius?
The GB Boy Colour is definitely the best way to play GB/GBC games! I have an EDGB with mine! The best way to play GBA games is on a modded GBA with an Ags 101! With a FlashCart IV it's even better 😁
I'm not sure there will be a GB boy advance, at least not in the west. You can buy an Advance Backlighting kit for £25-£30 (not sure what it is in dollars) and you can get a GBA or SP with a broken screen for around £10. At that price, the GB BOY version probably wouldn't have many benefits.
OMG I LOVE NEW ZEALAND STORY! Its made by a Japanese game company called Taito made back in the 80s. They made a game compilation of their best games for the PS2 called Taito Legends and New Zealand story is on it. Taito also made the beautiful Bubble Bobble. My father has a different model of the PVP bootleg console, and the music heard in "Anger Bird 3" was used for the homebrew "Plants Vs Zombies" and it never stopped playing, just like in "Anger Bird 3".
Actually Nintendrew, in the UK and other PAL regions River City Ransom was called Street Gangs. So maybe the GB Station Light or whatever it was called was made by English people. Also yes, Super Mario Bros. 3’s sounds and music weren’t working properly and it’s colours were way out. It looked like it was using an unused palette option which had yellow sky and blue-green background blocks.
Harry Warburg Yeah good point. Maybe they pirated a UK Rom because they couldn’t find a US Rom. I remember I couldn’t find a US rom when I downloaded River City Ransom so I went for the UK Rom.
lol the crash 2 was a hack of monster in my pocket nes, out of curiosity could it be possible to erase the duplicate games & fill it up with other nes roms?

interesting fact about those cartridges in the famicons is that they sometimes seem to not have any tech inside, only pins that push buttons inside the port and it just opens up a different menu on the console
you should have been in Seoul Korea back in the early 90s. they had a whole district of those games, and the game consoles. The had multiple consoles for the Famicom games and there were a few games that on a technical level pushed the graphics and sound on the Famicom. As for console clones, the had Batman and other characters, and there were more than a few that were built into TVs. And this was in 1991-1992
Aladdin 3 on the PVP is Magic Carpet 1001, which was released as a typical unlicensed NES game, or as one of 6 games on the Caltron 6 in 1 / Myriad 6 in 1 unlicensed NES cartridge. With the Caltron version releasing in 1992, before Caltron went out of business, and myriad bought their assets, that ended up leading to the more valuable myriad version. The only difference between the Caltron version and the Myriad version is the sticker on the cartridge.
I really like this guy. Recently discovered him. Chill out, laid back, no screams, no anger, quite relaxed. I still enjoy my good doses of AVGN, but this is a different approach.

"Aladdin 3" is actually Magic Carpet 1001, it was on the Caltron/Mryiad 6-in-1 cart and was released as a stand-alone game in some markets. I forget who actually made it but it's not a homebrew or hack, it's a true original NES (or likely Famicom, I don't think it was ever brought to the U.S. as a stand-alone cart) game.

I have the exact GB Boy Colour as you have @Nintendrew, Green and everything :P think this is even better then the original game boy color
Bruh my mom so called “accdently” bought all these when I asked for the real one.. yeah I don’t think that’s true
The PVP contained Spy Vs Spy which is the best multiplayer game on the NES
Aladdin 3 on the PVP is Magic Carpet 1001, which was released as a typical unlicensed NES game, or as one of 6 games on the Caltron 6 in 1 / Myriad 6 in 1 unlicensed NES cartridge. With the Caltron version releasing in 1992, before Caltron went out of business, and myriad bought their assets, that ended up leading to the more valuable myriad version. The only difference between the Caltron version and the Myriad version is the sticker on the cartridge.
I love the video Drew.
Btw I am that batman guy you know about on discord wink wink
Anger Bird 4 👍👍👍
Mike N Anger Bird 2 was the best of the series, Anger Bird 3 and 4 are just mediocre and don't capture the same magic as the first two games.
Cleavster Anger Bird 7 Was A Great Game Too Because The Original Creators Of Anger Bird 1 And 2 Made It

I really like this guy. Recently discovered him. Chill out, laid back, no screams, no anger, quite relaxed. I still enjoy my good doses of AVGN, but this is a different approach.
GOLVELLIUS have you watched Scott the Woz
@@goofy9697 Heya! Yes, now and then, recommended by YT, but couldn't remember his name X-D Thanks a lot! Know The Gaming Historian? SNES Drunk? PatmanQC? Hope you'll have a good time if you watch them... if you didn't know them yet.
