Good stuff. A thorough, balanced and cautionary review. The best kind of review is one that doesn’t railroad a consumer one way or another leaving them guilt free and informed enough to make up their own mind. I will be picking these up along with the Nyxi Wizard and Hori Split pad. Thank you for your services.
The thing is…I concluded the joycons are best, and with the Satisfye - ZenGrip Ronin, the comfort concern has been fully resolved. These controllers are great, though, and I would definitely try them out if they are as comfortable as the Pro controller.
Oh, yeah, I feel like these would be a bit of a side grade if you're already comfortable with a Satisfye grip. Personally, I do tend to like the M6HD more than the Satisfye grips we have lying around, due to the bigger buttons and sticks. (Though, I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the compactness of my Joy Cons + Switchmate grip.)
@@kekw9958 Nintendo still operates under the principle they are selling to Japanese kids. And they are, for sure, but also millions of grown-ups with larger hands. The joycons can be made comfortable with accessories, they couldn’t be made smaller with accessories if they were designed for big hands. Hence here we are.
Why you comparing hori split pad to m6 hd when you can get m6s which is almost the same as hd without hd rumble and same price and times better than what’s hori offering.
You mean beyond the context provided in the video for why this video was created? Well, the Split Pads and M6HD are two very different approaches to controller design. A comparison between the M6HD and M6S would begin and end at "the M6HD has more features, so buy it if you want those features." Meanwhile, a comparison between the Split Pads and M6HD allows for discussions of whether the differing approaches actually feel different in practice. Ultimately, I care about user experience most, and that's why the conclusion's framed as it is.
@GameXData cool I was double checking. The main reason I wanted the black controllers over the white controllers was the fact white face plates were included with the black controllers.
I've watched a few reviews for these joy cons and this was honestly the most in depth and non-biased. The mention of the clickiness and sweaty palms is something I never really considered before but now I'm thinking about it. I probably am still gonna get them though. Seems like the best joy con alternative available at the moment. Great vid!
man you should have way more followers!!

Solid review!
I’ve been using the mobapad m6hd since shortly after the release. I have had no interest in anything else, since

Great review! Love your on camera personality. Very informative
Just out of curiosity, were the spare face plates white or black?
I got a spare pair of white plates in the box. Mobapad sells a bunch of other colors through their store

@@joeygutierrez3I can confirm that, I was so glad to find a couple of white skins in the box of My black mobapad m6 hd 🎉

Awesome review! I like how these look but the harsh clicky sounds is a drawback.
Glad someone finally mentioned how these will make your hands sweatier. I have the same issue with mine.
Glad to know I'm not alone! As much as I love using these, it's so awkward to come away from a long play session with sweaty palms.
I was pretty interested but those super clicky face buttons seem loud and are a bit of a deal breaker
Honestly, fair. As much as I enjoy clicky buttons, I'd honestly love to see a version of these controllers with softer (quieter) buttons.
The loud buttons are the only thing I don’t like about these. They can get a little annoying after awhile. I still think they’re worth it though.
Anyone think he sounds a bit like Patrick Bateman?
