I restored this car! I replaced the rust in the chassis so it has a whole new floor in it. I am on to restoring the nose and tail in the coming weeks. The car is in Southern California now. I recognized it from the clear window louvres and the new york plate. I didnt expect to see it here
@@WeAreCurated definitely has great stories and also an amazing inventory of history. I moved from puerto rico to Miami fl just to seek opportunities with a great shop like yours hopefully one day i can be part of CURATED!!!!
I have a drivers side rear quarter panel off of Bob Wallaces 1971 S that I never used when my Miura got bumped by a Bronco. I also have front springs and exhaust tips, box of parts left over.
This is a real car channel! Just finished watching several of your videos. Very informative and full of sense. More power to you guys.. great job! Looking forward to seeing more great content. You guys deserves more subscribers than other car channels with trash contents.👊✌️👍
Chris in St Cloud MN hope you and yours are doing well! Hope you got the Motortrend issue w the Cizeta article. Your content is top notch (as well as your building and furnishings)! Tske care.
I can see the growth in you...How many people are probably lining up to invest with you..You set the tone in your voice..I know if you were to raise funds now you would more than likely have a long long line..But I love your model, big enough to keep it exactly were you have. Btw great story!!!
In 1997 someone in Cape Town had a Miura as a daily driver. I used to see it regularly just parked on the pavement in the rain for the night. I can still pinpoint the location, but the car is long gone. Never discovered the story behind it.
Earl Morris a 86 years old man let me sit on his 1971 orange Miura when he tried to sell his 886 acres Hidden Valley Ranch in Oregon back like 18 years ago. I took a bunch of pictures. Later Bernie Zieminski bought the ranch for 1.5 million with the Miura and the other car coming along with it for like 100k so it was like $50k for the Miura?! Then it was sold to this realtor's brother in south CA for like 300k and he has the final laugh? so this is my Miura barn find story! Few years ago Bernie showed me his huge barn of antique cars and told me how he got the ranch when there were like a dozen offers!!!
Hi Mr. John.T I don't know if you know about the 4 rear Lamborghinis. The first two are Lamborghini golardos with the same rear colors. And the other two are Countashs with the same twin turbo's. Let me know if you did hear about them. And all four (4) of them came from the factory.
Damn what I wouldn't give to find a Miura in a barn lol. We have tons of different Lamborghini models here in Japan but I've never seen one even once. Its kinda bad when you've seen a McLaren F1 but never a Miura.
Hey I saw you first on Vinwiki, but now discovered you channel and saw almost all of your videos. But I have one question why you buy and sell and talk only about Miura, Contache and Diablo. Never about other models Ok may be 350 get and 400 gt are very rare but there are Urraco, Jarama, Espada, Islero, Japla, Silhouette etc. What about them?
Would you ever be willing to tell the financial side of the story. Purchase price, sell price etc love those types of details being kind of a financial nerd
Someone just bought an additonal S badge. There is no Miura SS, just Miura S. Same as buying an additional M badge for an M3 and having an MM3. Doesn't exist. Lol
Cmon man...sure you bought it but found on eBay. Also, it’s entirely possible other saw the car when buying a snowblower. You said it was in a barn with a bunch of farm equipment
@@WeAreCurated Hey John, Nice offers on Hoovies Diablo and Countach.....hope ya score them! If i have more money down the line i will be in touch! For now my Shelby f-150 will have to do
SStaggering SStory, John! I don't think that you could've made up a more unlikely or more entertaining barn find launch to curated. Right down to the endless cornfields and the Stones cassette. Launching your business on such a bet sure took some ballSS. The rest is history... And your YT followers and business partners are all richer for it. Best fortune in life and cars for 2022...
@Curated hey john. U speak of your dad often but it always seems when it comes to helping you etc. he doesnt want too? U have to beg or ask often. Does he not like to be bothered or? Asking respectfully. Not speakin harsh of your dad. My dad is very similar. Its like walkin on egg shells when it comes to him. Lol.
My neighbor, big collector, is selling his Miura. If you’re interested...antilleslp at hot mail...and I’ll get you in touch with him. It’ll be in PB in a few days
when your vintage supercar business gets an early start with a real barn find Miura, you're destined for great things!

Awesome to hear the story continue!
We would all like a follow up story about the restoration.
Its at Bobileff's
That interior leather work is top notch!
Did you do that too?
The 70s restoration is better than the stock black interior by far.
Absolutely love these stories!
Thank you so much!

What a car! Love those! Just my opinion but most beautiful car ever produced by any Italian manufacturer. And great story too! Thanks for sharing
Another Incredible Story John! Thanks for sharing.
Another great story. Love to hear when cars like these get unearthed after decades of dormancy, and get their opportunity to hit the road again.
The photo at 8:43 is just epic. There is something so amazing about a supercar sitting in rustic surroundings. It just whispers "Let's go for a drive"
My favourite channel by far!!!!!
I enjoy watching the stories again and again. Can’t wait for the next one.John you rock..Μπράβο σας

Miura, a must for every farm hand!

So it appears the reason why the seller called it a "SS" is because it appears in the photo to have a "SS" on the rear of the car. Can you explain?
yea....I see SS too....
I was waiting to hear the explanation on that too....
Fabulous news and really feel I was with you on this journey
I love when you talk with your hands and clear your throat when you change subjects
Love the stories, keep them coming!
You said there was no such thing as an SS,but there was definitely an SS on the back of that particular Muira. Please explain.Otherwise a great story
He is right there is no miura ss. Someone has added an extra s badge to it
Great story, I imagine there are a few more Miura’s out there hidden..

What's the deal with the SS badge ?
yeah, I guess it was an SS after all...LOL
Lovely story!

Great story
I’m sure I’ve heard this story before. Was it on VinWiki or has it been retold by Curated with better editing?
Great story anyway! Love the history.
It was on VinWiki. He mentioned this right at the start of the video. A great story in both versions!
The Best Channel in the word! Um SALVE from brasil!🤙🇧🇷
Such a damn cool story. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

But why are there two " s" markings on the back of the car? I also know that there are no miura ss's only s and sv.
You should try and buy hoovies 25th anniversary countach white on red I think it he said it has 17,000km or 19,000km
Keep your eyes peeled on his channel. We made him an offer.
@@WeAreCurated hopefully he does sell to you would rather see him keep the Diablo
@@WeAreCurated had a feeling that once you heard he bought it that you’d be in touch with him
Hoovie the guy who fakes being socially awkward for views
The white Countache is the wrong car for Hoovie I think John would be able to find the right buyer for it.
Beautiful Saint Laurents
This channel should have more subs
why do you only have pictures and no videos?
Miura Barn find:)
Who was the NHL player who bought the Muira?
So the original ad was correct. It did indeed have 'SS' on the back. Why is a different quesstion.
Wait so what was the SS logo on the back??
Someone had stuck an additional ‘s’ on the back.
He had it serviced at a Maserati dealer
Where in New York? Was it near hyde park?
this is the first time seeing john with a fitted shirt lol

Would you ever be willing to tell the financial side of the story. Purchase price, sell price etc love those types of details being kind of a financial nerd
Businesses don't tend to publish that kind of information. Its not the best idea. I wouldn't share financial info either.
It clearly says SS on the badge ?
Someone just bought an additonal S badge. There is no Miura SS, just Miura S. Same as buying an additional M badge for an M3 and having an MM3. Doesn't exist. Lol
@@AshMixes yeah just pointing out that’s why the guy stated it as an SS
Great story. Love u videos, but the sound of ur leather jacket is driving me nuts lol
Okay... I am waiting why it had the name Miura S S.
Somebody stuck on a second S badge. Probably some old nazi that escaped after the war.
Find a car on eBay says hes discovered it who does this guy think he is Christopher Columbus
Why was it not an SS when it has SS on the rear?
Anyone can add a badge. Lamborghini didn’t make an SS of any model, so it’s pretty certain to not be an SS
Am I too high or is the leather jacket ASMR too distracting 😂
All I've is my Miura P400 SV Hotwheels '71 ID, can I get an offer please?!
🔥🔥
