    My PING 7 Wood has been a terrific add to the bag. Good review. I was playing a par 5 the other day . Used the 7 wood on the tee. Used the 7 wood all the way to the green. I was on in 3 total shots. Then took one putt into the hole for the bird. 7 wood stays in my bag.

      Agree 100% will be really hard to get that out of the bag any time soon

    I bought a new G430 7 wood after trying several. They are all point and click clubs. They are easy to launch from nearly all lies. I previously used a 4 hybrid but was more erratic and I also missed quite a lot to the left. Love my 7-wood. It is the easiest club to hit in my bag. Love the new format.

    I switch off between my hybrid & heavenwood (basically 7 wood) and the way I got to fix my dispersion from hitting left with the hybrid is by making my shaft slightly stiffer. Idk why it works, but it definitely helps

      I stopped trying to rationalize fittings a long time ago, sometimes the best answer is, it just works.

    I really enjoy this style content, hitting into a screen is nice, having stats is nice, but I think seeing it out on the course has value as well.

      Thanks for sharing the feedback I definitely enjoyed getting out from behind the desk and although our editors have twice as much to do I’m kind of in agreement.

    Spill the beans John! Spill the beans on this one! I’ve quickly became a total fan of my 7 wood after my full bag fitting with ya and absolutely love evey opportunity my rounds give me to play this club! It still amazes me how easy and accurate it seems to be to constantly hit the numbers and work the ball. Thanks for another great video from you and Dakota and I was definitely all 👀 at the title of this one when I seen it pop up! 👍🏼

      Thanks for sharing bud, I might go as far to say that the seven wood is this year‘s, new Swiss Army knife, more people should consider this bad boy, as it’s a nice way to mix it up.

      @@SwingFit oh man! I soo thought about saying that when I typed that because I am only comparing it to my 60-04 and that’s my favorite club in my bag!

    I replaced my fairway woods with the Callaway Utility Woods - 17 and 21 degree. Then I bag the 23 and 26 degree Mizuno JPX Fli-Hi hybrids with the same shafts as my irons.

    Definitely like the on course content. A wedge video demonstrating bounce and grind options from various distances and turf would be nice. Maybe even including different delivery styles. Not many RUclips fellas do wedges in course. Whether the mizuno or vokey either way.

      Fellas I feel ya on this topic. I have to be honest I was most concerned on this with my full bag fitting. John opened my eyes on something that the industry standard just doesn’t do and I knew as soon as we got in to it that he knew his shit. All my wedges have one thing in common and it was a light bulb moment that worked for me.! No reason I should ever change my swing because of a different wedge!…something to his insight. Go see him for your wedge fitting..You won’t regret it 👍🏼

    Used to have the Callaway 7, 9 and 11 woods in my bag 25 years ago. Discovered hybrids before all my playinjg pals and used those ever since, but could never get used to the more "wood-like" shape of the newer hybrids. I preferred the older looking original-looking hybrids, such as the TOUR EDGE Iron-wood and later Ping G15. I'm starting to move back to the woods, though. Picked up a Ping 7 Wood over the winter and have a Ping 9 Wood arriving via FedEx tomorrow.

    • @SwingFit
      @SwingFit  Год назад +1

      The ping woods are definitely in my opinion cut from a different cloth. But I also know they aren’t for everyone. Thanks for sharing.😀

    I'm a slow swing speed guy so I go with fairways (including a 7-wood) to get a little extra ball speed and height.

    • @SwingFit
      @SwingFit  Год назад +3

      I’ve struggled with hybrids for far too long and fell in love as soon as I hit it. Now I think I need to compare to other 7 woods to see if there is an even a better option.

      We fit more 7 woods than hybrids. In fact we didn’t buy that many this year in way of stock but did double down on 7 woods, just so damn good.

      That’s a great observation this primarily is in attempt to overcome my hip slide but it is something I’ve been working on in the off season, this way I can compress the ball more. My swing thought is trying to keep my lead shoulder behind the golf ball at impact.

      Is that how you hit your long irons, or is the should slightly forward for them?
