I love that you seem real. I’m a nurse of almost 30 years and have met many surgeons/physicians through the years; not all seem like regular folks that you can sit and chat with. I’ve had dozens of orthopedic surgeries; from Achilles’ tendon, spine to knee replacement etc.. and I knew the best surgeon, who not only rocks his surgeries but is an amazing human being. I’ve seen him make house calls to folks who are struggling, to spending as much time as they need, to explain things. I then decided to become a charge nurse for the orthopedic unit, in the hospital. You remind me of that type of doctor. I can’t give a higher compliment. God bless you all, who actually care for the patient. I also have an ER doctor, that I worked with and he listened to me, when I passed out at work. I was extremely sick and he listened and I was able to be diagnosed with MS very quickly. Again, kudos to the docs who listen and care! 🙏🏼❤️

Im a nurse and have hypermobile ehlers danlos sydrome. Orthopedic problems are main issues often with poor healing. MS is also common, I just felt.compelled to share. I also agree with your assessment on surgeons! I believe neurology is still the most unpersonable specialties beside some surgeons! ✌

Indeed, if you find such a doctor these days, tell them that they are wonderful. And if its your doctor, pray he/she never leaves. I am so glad that my doctor is invested in my city. Argh, I am almost afraid that I might now have jinxed it.

I have so so much respect for you. thirty years is a long time (rn here, too).
I often think of the RNs before me (not necessarily your age range), definitely older than you are as trail blazers. everything they had to put up with.
in the beginning, it was a choice, nursing or motherhood, imagine that. I'm sure you have some unbelievable stories, too. anyways, these early nurses, I respect, and I thank them for all of the changes in which they influenced what nursing is today.
I know that there are MANY problems today that need fixing, but they sure made life easier for nurses today, i.e., just in salary and respect 🙏
I will thank you here because I just know you don't get enough from others.
it's funny, I just commented along the same subject as you did re physicians in another video of Dr Gary's, too 😊 :
I said something like, I would NEVER just go to any surgeon for a facelift because I couldn't afford it. you see with all of the horror stories, I would HONESTLY, NEVER go to a plastic surgeon UNLESS he was Dr Gary's caliber.
there are too many risks associated with the outcome.
I also said that through the years. of all the physicians I've ever met or had to deal with, plastic surgeons seemed to be kinda rude. I don't know, maybe it was just chance.
recently (5 years ago), I went to sit on the couch, absolutely exhausted after having washed my kitchen floor by hand. I somehow managed to herniate a disc in my lower back, lumbar L3.
it was excruciating PAIN. my family physician referred me to a neurologist. they called and I made an appointment for the next month - I guess for him, business was good.
what an experience!. boy oh boy, I was waiting to see him in the waiting room, and he walked out to get me. he looked as though he had just graduated from highschool, I swear! I expected to see his lunch kit on his desk or in his backpack with an apple juice box....
as we went through the appointment, out of curiosity, I said something like, you look so young, what year did you graduate.
OMG! he acted as if I deeply offended him. I really know myself, and I'm ALWAYS respectful of everyone and especially him because he was going to be potentially MY doctor.
I went over the conversation in my mind so many times trying to decipher whether or not it was rude to ask what year he'd graduated...
      >: (
and he was jerky throughout the ENTIRE rest of the APPOINTMENT.
honestly, I just could not believe it.
I thought to myself, buddy, you are going to be entering my spinal cord, I felt that I was in my right to ask.
in the meantime I ended up having a cortisone injection. although painful at first - shockingly so, it ended up working, and the pain was gone, HALLELUJAH 🙏🙏🙏
the neurologist's office assistant (also very disrespectful), phoned me and left a message saying that they had an appointment for that coming Friday. I never called back. then 8 months later, she called me back, left message again. I didn't phone back and they haven't called back since, lol.
anyway, sorry I rambled a bit or a lot 😊
the only type of surgeon I'd trust with a facelift would be along the lines of Dr Gary, so I doubt I'd ever be able to get a facelift which after watching some of Dr Gary's videos, I'm okay with.
      anyway, take care 😊

After having COVID in January 2021 (hospitalized in ICU) I lost a lot of hair with it. It went on for months. Wondering how many others had the same thing happen to them... I was diagnosed with MS back in 2007 and when I had Covid, I became a type 1 diabetic. I’d never been pre diabetic before that. So 2 autoimmune diseases now. My doctors said that there is a chance of developing further autoimmune diseases, which is a bit daunting. What are your thoughts or have you seen alopecia in regards to Covid?

How many procedures do you think Tom Brady has had Dr.? His first super bowl win was before i had my first procedure and I have seen his entire hair transformation as he was almost as bald as I was when I began to notice other high profile figures who had severe hairloss due to my severe balding hairloss I had.
By the way during my two procedures my doctor had to double to almost triple his typical amount of numbing frequency whlst he was grafting. He told me my metabolism was extremely high and was twice the rate of the typical or average. He also said that it was a sign of good health. Many many years ago now.
Do you by chance perform sideburn area procedures? As i have aged my sideburns ive has since i was in 9th grade have now at 48 has begun to majorly thin and I never thought nor expected that to ever happen. For some reason having sideburns are a must for me. Is the hair too course or are sideburns viable or possible and if so would the grafts be extracted from my sides and back donor area? I was curious if sideburn grafts may have to be grafted for example from like chest hair since it is more similar and more course in nature? If you do sideburns, I would definitely like to schedule a consult with you if you are taking new patients.
Thanks for your time. Would love to hear your thoughts on Tom Brady and even a video on him. He for absolutely certain had extensive transplant procedures done. I just cant tell if he had strip surgery or not. He has neither denied it nor admitted he has had multiple transplants but hes been repeatedly seen entering and leaving medical buidings that hair surgeons occupied and worked. I just was curious the extent of his work and your thoughts on how he was able to totally have it all done in such sexrecy as he did.
