@@saurabhjain507 it really should not because it has aged like milk. RUclips has this feature built in, the progress bar is now segmented with section names.
I passed this exam today using only this learning resource. I listened to (not watched) this video two and a half times. I'd listen during my commute to work and when doing chores like the dishes. I also took a few free online practice tests. I've worked in IT for 4 years.
@@hannagirma2849 The video and some practice test. However, you can use other resources as deem fit. I did not use the 13 hour video, it is the updated version of the 4 hours one. In my opinion, either will do it.
I just wanted to thank you for making this video , i just passed my exam with 867 score. This video helped me fill in the gaps in my knowledge. Incase someone is wondering what material i used to study. 1- AWS's skillbuilder course that is free 2- this RUclips course 3- stephan merek's exam questions on Udemy (paid) First time i did the exams i only get 50 and didn't pass on any of them, i kept doing them until i passed most of them , and i did the exam. And i just got my badge.
This video is spot on. Studied for 1 week, 1x a day. Focused on 2:45:00+, gives you most of what you need to know. Passed, no prior in-depth experience with AWS. Thanks for the great video!
so are you saying the first 2 hours 45 minutes is a waste? or its just simple knowledge that everyone knows? cause i have been hating this first 2.6 hours not because of this guy but because its boring info ... Andrew Brown is a great voice and love listening to him talk...
@@sunny86ization yes there will be scenario based questions as well, but they won't be too complex. Just in the given video pay attention to similar sounding concepts like CloudFront/Cloudformation, because there would be many questions like these to throw you off.
Andrew, my sincere gratitude to you, freeCodeCamp, and your entire team for marking this video available to people like me. I passed my CCP exam by watching this video and practice exam questions( exam date: October 25, 2022). With no prior knowledge of AWS, I studied for only 2 weeks and watched your video 3 times. Thank you all.
@@damianneetam613 this course is still relevant. Yes few things have changed, but not enough to stop you from passing. Do practice exams like he directed, go over the video more than once if you have enough time. Good luck bro.
I started studying on Christmas Day (12/25/21) and took my test on Jan. 7 2022 and passed. Thank you. For those who would like to know, I used only this video, along with practice tests on his site along with an app on my iPhone to take practice exams. Many of the practice exams had a few questions that weren’t covered in this exam but I just chose to learn them anyway and wrote them down. I firmly believe after taking enough practice exams you get a great feel of what the test will be like, how things are worded, and what to expect. You’ll be in great shape with this video to take it. When taking the practice exams, I only did fairly well, and sometimes even failed others. But I believe it prepared me for how to take the real test. So don’t let practice exams be too much of a determining factor for if you think you are ready. Just let it be a guide. Good luck to all!
Hey I don't know if anyone will see this, but this guy seriously helped me prepare. I've always loved IT and cloud tech, decided to practice while also watching this video and some other miniscule tutorials....in 2 weeks I got my AWS cloud practitioner certification and honestly dude, thank you. You're so clear and precise and straight to the point with info. It helped me on parts I was struggling and I'm now certified. Thank you so much! I'm currently watching your video for solution architect associate! Wish me luck and good luck to all of you out there!!!
This course is still relevant in 2022. I have passed my exam today. What I did: I watched this video in three sittings (about 80 mins each), taking notes yesterday
Your video is still relevant. I went through it once, took some test questions, quickly looked at your slides again and then I took the exam and passed. Did all that in 6 days. Thank you! (12/20/2021)
Hello Everyone, I also would like to share that I passed my exam today! :) I only used this video, nothing else. A very great content, thank You Andrew!
What date did you pass AWS Cloud Practitioner Exam ? Reason I am asking is because I am thinking of giving it this coming week most probably on 18th June 2021. The problem is that this course is approx. 2 years old so not sure if this will help or not...that's why asked when did you pass this exam ?
@@toshibaanand I just passed it yesterday. I have had the same concern though! I would suggest to watch this course and check the AWS site afterwards if You feel like, even the whitepapers than You will be 100% covered. But as I wrote, I did not check the docs so accurate... Good luck to Your exam! :)
Alinka Molnar Thanks for quick response Alinka. I am not sure where to look for the white papers ...I just started watching this video so may in the end it might tell where to look for white papers..Will get back to you if I don’t get it. Apologies for bothering and thanks for helping.😊

Andrew - You are doing a ton of service by providing free AWS content. THANK YOU!!! I cleared the exam in my first try with absolutely no background of cloud whatsoever by studying about 2 hours everyday for 6 days and giving 3 practice exams on the 7th day while also taking the exam the same day. My study plan was as follows 1. I went through your video twice and all hands on once to understand the AWS console (strongly recommend to do the "follow alongs"). 2. Went through the AWS cloud practitioner essentials (2nd edition) videos once (It's free and is present in the AWS portal). 3. Gave 3 practice exams before sitting for the main exam. In my opinion this much should be enough to clear, however consistency is the key. I would suggest everyone to study everyday for at least 1-2 hours in order to not lose momentum. Hope this helps.

@@aden5247 Yeah, first two days I spent watching the video and took some notes. Then the next 2 days I studied the notes and got familiar with everything. Then the next two days I took multiple practice tests to get a feel of the type of questions. Then on the last day I took the test. Keep 2-3 hours aside each day for this, and you should do fine. CCP is easy to attain as compared to CSA.
Just passed the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam on the first try. My steps: (1) Watched the whole 4 hour video in 4 different sittings @ ~1 hour each (2) Did a practice exam ($20) (3) Skipped through this RUclips video again to basically read through concept/high-level definitions. (4) Took the Pearson VUE online test and passed in about 43 minutes. I greatly appreciate this video. Thank you! Note: Since many of you ask about prior experience, I did work with AWS in 2011-2013 in selling it to the public sector. I literally held meetings with clients, presented our Professional Services capabilities, wrote proposals, and closed the deal. So did have some background knowledge which I was able to build upon from 7 years ago.
I passed my exam today. Thank you Andrew Brown and Team for this content. This really helped a lot. Few more topics were added that are not mentioned here. 1. AWS Transit Gateway 2. AWS Global Accelerator 3. Amazon Cognito 4. AWS Xray 5. AWS Abuse Team 7. AWS Consulting partner 8. AWS concierge support This video is still valid today for anyone who is studying for AWS CCP.

@@monikaray5744 Hi Monika I basically just watched this video 2 or 3 times and on the day of the exam I watched from the 2hr mark till the end of the video because it is the most technical portion. Other than that I went on examtopics and did like 170 practice questions just to get in the test mindset before the exam. It took me about 35 min to complete the exam. No prior cloud experience either
Finding this with the exam scheduled 7 hours from now. After having prepared via Sybex books etc., I confidently say this is the best resource I've found. Thanks for doing an excellent job!
Another satisfied customer. Followed the tutorial, took notes, and reviewed them before exam time. Passed the test. Keep up the good work. People like you make the world a better place.
Thanks, just passed! Guys who wanna do it, watch the Cloud Practitioner tutorials on AWS training + watch this spectacular video twice! That’s it and thanks again 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
@@jagritshingarijs Just go through this video first and get your concepts in. Then complete the AWS whitepapers (as this video is old and many things have been updated). Practice some Udemy practise tests and you are good to clear the exam. 👍
Passed my exam first try with help of this video and chat. Thanks. PS: This course does not cover everything on the test, they update some questions and topics every few months. Check the exam guideline on aws and check for topics the video doesn't cover and do a quick study of them. Good luck everyone!
Huge thanks to Andrew, I passed my exam yesterday! I was totally new to AWS and cloud computing. Other materials make me feel frustrated at first, but Andrew is a lifesaver! Along with some online mock exams (I used BrainCert) and Andrew's other AWS videos, I passed the exam on my first try. Andrew has created the best study materials ever!
Folks, I took the AWS Cloud Practitioner Exam this morning and passed it. I was nervous as I had been failing in all the practice papers (below 70%). 😓. I wanted to thank this You Tube video as it is one of the best resources.Special thanks to the instructor Andrew for making the learning interesting and easy. God bless the folks who set this up. 🙏🏽
Hi just wanna know that ... The real exam and exampro practice tests which is harder.? I heard the real exam is updated and become harder . am getting like 60-80 % in the practice tests.
Hi everyone, i want you to know that i took the this course in 3 days and i passed my AWS certification today in 45 mins. This course help me a lot, thanks so much for this amazing guideline.
Passed AWS CCP from the first attempt. This video helped me a lot, thank you to Andrew Brown, okay! My background: almost 1 year in high-level experience with some AWS services: EC2, IAM, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway. My CCP preparation roadmap: 1. AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials (Second Edition) course (it's free). You have to completely understand the information from it. 2. This video. I was noting the main information during listening. 3. Certified Cloud Practitioner course on Exampro ($20) 4. Overview of Amazon Web Services whitepaper (read it basically) In my opinion it would be enough to pass the exam. Good luck!
I passed my certification today and I used this course. I will say if you are taking this exam please try to setup a free AWS account and actually provision most of the concepts such as EC2, ELB, s3, rds etc (this will help with leaning most of their basic features). This video alone without any lab work may not be enough as the test was a bit more technical than I originally expected but I work with AWS at my work so I was comfortable enough.
Buddy, thank you VERY MUCH for your time building that video. I stood days cleaning my house and making dinner listening to it and nailed the test today! Thank you again! It was so nice to hear the video, the voice, the flow....
I just passed my exam today. Really thankful for these videos. I would suggest future takers to do this course along with some questions from recent questions which may have come on the test and you shall be fine.
Hi Nagasesha Reddy, Congratulations for clearing the exam. I'm also planning to start learning AWS. If you don't mind May I contact you once to know how to start as I don't know anything about cloud computing, Networking basics. Thankyou
Thank you sir! I just passed the exam first try after having little to no experience in IT or knowledge about cloud computing. Took about two weeks to fully grasp topics. Tip for everyone: Use this video, Amazons learning module and udemy practice tests will make you pass the exam. I did 6 practice tests from udemy until I scored around high 85% consistently. Learned alot from those as they had good explanations if you got a question wrong.
Hi, there, I passed AWS CCP exam few days ago. I spent about three weeks during this lock down and used the following materials: 1) Watched this Video (several times & did the labs along) only selective portions. 2) A course from Udemy by Digital Cloud Training (got full length practice exams as well) really helped me a lot 3) AWS white papers (just overview of AWS Service, AWS Well-Architected Framework etc. ) Got quite a few questions regarding VPC, Direct Connect, EC2 instance pricing, shared responsibility model. Thank you much Andrew and ExamPro for creating this valuable content. Good luck everyone!
I just passed my Certified Cloud Practitioner exam, and highly recommend this video to anyone preparing for the test. Outstanding, easy to follow overview of all the services and everything needed to know to pass the exam.
Thanks, just passed the exam. Watched the video, failed the $20 sample test, watched the video again and passed the test. In total spent 3 nights study. I want say the content here is very good, covers most of the stuff but not everything.
I have just taken my exam this morning, and passed the AWS Practitioner Cert on the first try. My primary study material (over four days of studying) was taking the AWS Practitioner 6 hour course, and repeatedly taking the final exam in that course (I think I took it 6-7 times in 4 days). That final exam mimics the actual exam I took very well. I did watch your course above last night which was helpful, but got into the "weeds" at times. I would say that your examples of logging in and manipulating an AWS account is great for users to manipulate our own accounts, but the manipulation of the account is not part of the exam I took. My exam was all about knowing the names of the services offered, what they do and knowing the AWS verbiage (which you do cover in your course). I will use this course as a reference, as I work within my own account. "The how to instructions are excellent" Thank you!
I passed the Cloud Practitioner exam yesterday. I started going through this video in the morning and took the test at night and got a score of 792/1000. Honestly this has almost everything you need even in 2022. There are obviously a few more additions that are not covered here like AWS Ground Station, AWS Managed Services, etc but those are kinda intuitive in its name. Thank you so much to Andrew Brown for making this available for FREE! Absolute legend! P.S Yes, i have used AWS Beanstalk,Auto Scaling groups, security groups, Load Balancers, etc for building out a Web Application for a College Project so i am not an absolute beginner to AWS. But this video has 90% of the things necessary to pass the exam in 2022
I just passed, I only can say this is the best course of aws cloud practicioner. Thanks for all. PD: for everyone who want to pass the exam studying a week, it's totally possible. Only for recommendation, finish this course and dedicate 2 days resolving exam questions, THIS IS KEY to get 90-100% percentage of score. Good luck to all guys
Passed my exam today all thanks to Andrew's video and the one from Tech Talks, dedicated a week to it, made notes and went through the question dumps thoroughly on certlibrary and whizlabs :))) Edit: scored a whooping 915, if anyone needs my notes, let me know and I shall send you my notes on your mail!

Passed! 🎉 a couple days ago! Watched this video but not the only resource used. However, this was course cemented my studies and I would not have passed the exam without it! Thank you, Sir!
Been using AWS for about 10 years. Never got any certs, but been using AWS off and on for a long time. Watched your 4 hour video, took 2 sample tests from udemy, and got a pass score for the Cloud Practitioner in 25 minutes. Thanks for the video. I had studied to take the Solutions Architect Associate exam about a year ago, but never took it. I suppose I'll finish studying and take that next.
Passed the AWS CCP exam. This video was helpful, paid the $20 to access the mock exam. Practiced the flashcards, took notes, read, took the practice exams everyday for about two weeks with another Udemy test questions to mix it up and gain further knowledge. I recommend the follow alongs and diving in the AWS console. Cheers and good luck to everyone!!
Heard about the exam on the 26th, booked it on the 27th, watched this video once through then hammered practice questions. Just sat the exam an hour ago and passed (29th). You don't need courses. This video and PRACTICE questions are enough. Thanks.
Thank you!! No prior AWS experience worked through this entire video + took lengthy notes, reviewed my notes for a day and passed on my first try 2/9/2020! The test was a bit more difficult than I anticipated but everything was covered in this video! Thanks again.
Hi Sir, I sincerely thank you very much for this post. I just followed only your session ( i mean this video). I took 3 days to complete this session in parallel to my office work. Attended the exam on 4th day ( 17th of March-2020) and successfully passed with 88 percent in first attempt. Now I am planning to take up AWS ML, searching for same kind of sessions on internet for the same. I once again whole heartedly thank you for this post.
After about 3 weeks of taking this video at my pace and cramming the 10 dollar practice exams on udemy the day of the exam, i passed my first try! This guy is an awesome teacher, so so appreciated for the effort put into this.
Just passed with a score of 917 yesterday! Thank you for the video, especially being able to picture in my head the slide on 1:36:10, that is super important to know up and down but I would not have passed as well without other resources. This series barely touches on the Well-Architected Framework and what Cloud designs are such as Elasticity vs Scaleability etc. Seems AWS wants its CCPs to preach and teach about why AWS is best more than how to best implement best practices. I hope this helps anyone.
Good afternoon, from what I'm translating from the comments, it must be a great video about the platform class, I'm very sorry you don't know English to understand and take this test, I'm Brazilian!
@@thumpertorque_ I had a job using it already. It was to just get a Cert to accomplish a goal for the year. It helped mainly in saving my company a lot of money but other than that, the technical value is super low and the value for a beginner is high.

Ok Average guy here. I took the exam late last night and passed. All I did was watch this video once but I spent about 5 hours in all to watch and absorb it. CS student here; I followed this video, read up some online documentation (Shared responsibility model, Well-Architected Framework, S3 storage classes, etc.), and gave 4 practice tests (Udemy course by Mozdora Education) before appearing for the exam. I passed the exam within a week. Thanks Andrew, and all the best to everyone taking the exam! :)
Congratulations Aqeel! I wonder have you took any udemy courses or something? I wonder if watching those videos will be enough to clear up the exam. Thanks!
@@dilaraserefoglu2886 I only watched these videos , made some notes, followed instructions to creat AWS account and further practice as per the course and after finishing the course, did some pearson vue practice exams. So to pass the exam, these viseos are enough. Thanks
Thanks for this wonderful video. Passed my exam just this morning 27/7/21. This video was helpful, played it so many times in my car and now my kids keeps saying hello this is Andrew Brown from Exampro..lol 😆 this video is still legit and it can help you to pass.. Now onto Solutions Architect... God bless.
@@TheBizBoutique I used Neal Davis' Practice Exam review on Udemy.. He will take you through all the 2 sets of Practice exam questions that is 130 questions and will explain them to you. I also join The AWS Cloud Practioner Challenge which was also good. Please the whitepaper, especially the Well Architected framework.. There were a lot of questions on Database which made it a bit tricky. With good preparation you can make it within 1 to 2 weeks..
@@TheBizBoutique Yes there are few services added to this cert.. Also they are trying to make it look like the Solutions Architect questions by using scenarios. I will advise you to prepare well and also write the exam soonest, they may change the format soon. This 4hr video might not be enough for you to pass.. Get some practice exam questions on Udemy or search through the youtube... Good luck
Passed today after 8 days of studying. Got the most information out of this video, although there were some weird questions about services never mentioned in any study guide. Thank you for the very informative video !
I watched this video twice, made notes off of it, studied from AWS.certification source and I cleared the certification. You have done a wonderful job Andrew. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. After watching this, I have a great interest in Cloud Computing even though I have no skill or knowledge about IT. 🔆🤓

Passed the exam today, the material is still very relevant but definitely not everything. I recommend that people check the missing services from the exam guide on the official AWS website, just understand the basic functionality don't go in-depth. I studied it in 1 day using this video and understand the missing services. Thanks Andrew!
Passed with 2 days of studying, thanks Andrew. Some other things that came up was Amazons Route 55, and alot on Databases, really know the storage stuff as well. Good luck
I hope everyone saves this while you are doing this course, make sure that you know this course is a little bit old (Though still great), thus there are some things that have changed. TCO calculator is now just a simple calculator. Also, AWS AVM - Account Vending Machine is now called Control tower, however you still use Landing Zone and they are pretty much the same. Feel free to reply with any other changes you see from this course, its super helpful to others taking it, best of luck!

This material is still very relevant! Started this video on a Saturday, watched it three times, and took the test on the following Monday. Sure, there were some newer services not mentioned, but process of elimination with the services covered here was more than enough for me to pass on my first try! Thanks for the course!

Today I went for the cloud practitioner exam.. honestly speaking your video is very useful. There were many questions related to AWS organization, cost explorer, simple shared service model, on-premises and aws Support plans. Thank you very much for providing easy to understand explantation. I watched this video 2 times. Apart from this I also followed aws best practice white paper. Just passed the exam in less than 30 mins on first try after watching your course. Thank you so much for the time and effort the took to put this comprehensive course up.
Just passed my exam today. The material here is more than sufficient. 1. Watch this once for the notes and the walkthrough (Make sure to do the hands-on material) 2. watch it again with your notes as a reference point and redo the hands-on material. 3. Take a few tests and you are good to go
This is the best online content for preparing for cloud practitioner certification. Its very crisp, and to the point. This helped me clearing the exam with ease. There were around 60% of the questions directly from this course. Thanks for your wonderful work, Andrew.
Note: DO NOT DO THE FOLLOW ALONG FOR RDS. "turn automated backup retention period to 0 days" does NOT stop RDS from immediately taking a snapshot. There WILL be a snapshot created if you do this follow-along, and it WILL soon start to charge you (even under the free tier). In 2 weeks it has cost me 4 cents on a completely new AWS account. If you delete the DB instance it does not delete the snapshot -- you have to go to the snapshots section and delete it.
I passed my CCP exam today. This video was very helpful to me, however, there were few topics I saw during my exam which are the latest and not covered in this video, but that we all can explore under AWS training material. The exam was easy (really thanks to Andrew). I took 3 days to prepare this and use this video and free online practice papers to understand the type of questions in this CCP.

Thanks a lot I appreciate.

My study plan was as follows

Where you all are giving exams??
Passed AWS CCP from the first attempt. This video helped me a lot, thank you to Andrew Brown, okay!
My background: almost 1 year in high-level experience with some AWS services: EC2, IAM, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway.
My CCP preparation roadmap:
1. AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials (Second Edition) course (it's free). You have to completely understand the information from it.
2. This video. I was noting the main information during listening.
3.
Certified Cloud Practitioner course on Exampro ($20)
4. Overview of Amazon Web Services whitepaper (read it basically)
In my opinion it would be enough to pass the exam. Good luck!
Hi
Mариbella, Could you please explain me what is

Hi, there, I passed AWS CCP exam few days ago. I spent about three weeks during this lock down and used the following materials:
1) Watched this Video (several times & did the labs along)
only selective portions.
2) A course from Udemy by Digital Cloud Training (got full length practice exams as well) really helped me a lot
3) AWS white papers (just overview of AWS Service, AWS Well-Architected Framework etc.

Thanks, just passed the exam. Watched the video, failed the $20 sample test, watched the video again and passed the test. In total spent 3 nights study. I want say the content here is very good, covers most of the stuff but not everything.
How i can give exam for cloud practitioner certification. I m from India please let ne know.

2. watch it again with your notes as a reference point and redo the hands-on material.
Hi Mudit,
First of all congratulations for your exam.
Can you please share those topics which are not covered in this video but they came in exam? since this video is about 20 months old.
Do you have a job now? What is salary?
Just wanted to say thank you for doing this video and putting the resources together.
I passed my exam last week after 2 weeks of studying, and following this program!
Thanks for your help, Andrew. I was able to get 929/1000 on the CCP! Much appreciative of you making this content available to us at no cost.
