This is great! While I'm no longer in school, I certainly appreciate the education. I ride and compete on horses in a Western sport called cutting. We do tons of cuing of our horses with our lower legs and feet. I know the motion I need to make but am having difficulty performing it. Anyway, this video showed me what muscles are at work and therefore what muscles I need to strengthen. I am also going to work on more hip mobility and stretching. Thank you so much!
I couldn’t tell you because there are a lot of books that are good depending on what you’re looking for some have better drawings. Some better inside best is to go to a medicine university and check out what they have. But books from thieme and elsevier Are really good and if you’re looking for an anatomy app, I would say complete anatomy is the best one, but it’s pretty expensive
Your videos are just fantastic. The best one I´ve seen on this topic. Now I can visualise the muscles while I´m exercising or even in simple daily tasks. Thanks!!!
Great video! I love the way you explain everything and make it simple to understand, thank you! I did want to comment about how some of us when standing, even if our feet are touching our knees don't, not like bowed legs ( i understand that's another thing) but just perhaps a half a fist of separation. Once there is hip flexion (like squatting down) then the knees do touch. Is that more related to hip width and hip socket positioning? Thanks again!
I can’t answer this question we would have to look at each person and find it out through testing,.. femur shape, torsion and so forth. your question really illustrates my point again looking from the outside you can make assumptions, but you really have to thoroughly check in order to be Certain because we all have different skeletons,.. Thanks for your question though have a good one Julie
** What abous Psoas and Iliacus..? You always forget them.. Psoas the king of movement🙌 Think about the fact mechanicly speaking, that your legs 'starts' at T12 😉.. Psoas (Iliopsoas..) adducts the hips. You cant miss him....
This video was excellent & extremely helpful! Thank you
A real GOAT. Keep up the good work
lots of love from Abu-Dhabi

I always get abduction and adduction confused...
just think about adding or addition when you think adduction. you re adding your legs together- if that makes sense,.
