  • Welcome to the Muscle and Motion RUclips channel!
Today, we're talking about the anatomy of the knee joint.
The knee joint is a complex joint that connects the thigh bone (femur) to the lower leg (tibia). It's made up of a number of different bones, ligaments, muscles, and tendons that work together to provide stability and allow the joint to move in multiple directions.
We'll go over the different components of the knee joint and how they work together to make walking and running possible.
*There is a small mistake in this YT video that you should know about.
In min 06:52, we wrote "anterior superior iliac spine," which should be "anterior inferior iliac spine."
    We are sorry about that!
    Thanks for watching!

Hello, just to let you know that the origin of rectus femoris is the Anterior Inferior iliac spine, not the Anterior superior iliac spine. Thankyou
