One of these (EX prob) will be my next car. In my 2016 1.3 Se I get 38-42 in town and 55-65 on motorways (speed dependant) so given that most of my journey are local, happy days.

Don't despair, car not run in, tyre pressure should be ~35psi, headwinds, 70mph all the way! I regularly get 150 miles out of 1/4 tank, mi
Mpg over 1 year (real calculation using always fill tank to top and spreadsheet calc) is 61mpg for 7,000miles in 1 year. A brilliant car, smooth drive, reliable and sometimes locally 70mpg! Good luck ( lots of details on some of your comments on the Honda Jazz forum)

Thanks for the feedback. I love driving the car and am giving updates as I go. I got much better consumption at motorway speeds coming back (48 mpg), the strong winds did make a huge difference !

      Further update - I get 50 mpg at 70 mph - 67 mpg at 60 mph and a whopping 82 mpg at 55 mph.

@@mouse-hondajazzcrosstardri240 It's a great car to have, especially with the price of petrol and some difficulty down here actually getting it!

@@mouse-hondajazzcrosstardri240 I’ve had a gen 4 Prius for 5 years and at 70mph I’ll get just 50mpg as at that speed you are mostly on the petrol engine so not much benefit from the battery but at lower speeds or in town or extra urban you are on the battery much more so 55mpg up to 70+ mpg. I used to run turbo diesels and for motorway journeys only they will get better mpg than a hybrid so it’s a balance. You’ll also get into maxing out regen using hills and making the most of the hybrid drive train. Apart from motorways you should be getting 55-65mpg on average. Hope it improves for you.

@@mikesaunders4694 Hi Mike, yes I am doing a new video. If I drive on the motorway at 55 mph I get 83mpg, at 60 mph I get 68mpg and at 70mph I get 52 mpg. You wouldn't have thought you'd get that much of a difference!!!
