Everyone said... "Buy a 03 Ram 5.9 Cummins, it will last forever!" Engine, yes... rockers & bed wells not so much :'(

  • @josephlangs8781

This is a great tutorial. The beauty of doing my 03 is its already done most of the removal itself, haha. Thanks again

Great video. Those reading the comments, remove the negative cables from your batteries before you start welding and have a fire extinguisher near by just in case.

Nice work! On grinding the spot welds out, I use the air powered belt sander 1/2" x 18" with 80 grit 3M belts,...better depth control and less sparks.

I’m a so glad I came across this video! I starting to doubt my decisions I have made on my own 2006 2500. Your inside skirt panel is where I was struggling and you made a simple but a effective replacement for that. I could send you pics of my rockers and the trim cut’s are the same. Thanks for an outstanding video for this repair.

Awesome work brother awesome. Thank you so much for showing how you do this. I have my 05 dodge cummins same truck. I have the same job to tackle. I rather buy the equipment to keep and have forever than pay someone 6k to do for me. Guess it's better to screw it up several times than pay another to do. Again thank you for sharing your knowledge. It doesn't really look that bad, just gotta dig in and get after it.

Currently working on my '08 Cummins shipping crate. Great video 👍

Man, I wish I had the money and or Knowledge to do this. I have a 07 mega cab that I would love to keep but it is a money pit. The rockers, cab corners and upper wheel wells are toast. Awesome work! If I decide to tackle this job, I will reference your video and pick your brain for months, I am sure.

Those oval holes are where all the salt gets inside. Zbart used to be the way to prevent rust like that. If I lived up north, I'd be treating my NEW cars and trucks to prevent rot that like. Nice repair job!
