You should be wearing a proper mask that seals to your face for when your cutting grinding and sand blasting. For anything to do with painting you should be using a proper mask with filters that filter all that crap. I’ve done a lot of sand blasting and grinding. I don’t like blowing black stuff out of My nose. Just imagine what’s going into your lungs and bloodstream.
