this confuses me further, but then my question is if there is solenoid, this should move when u exert pressure at the port, if its not the waste gate is said to be in closed position due to diaphragm damage or bad solenoid or vacuum leak.. i feel like i am on right track and main problem with this is more fuel get dumped into exhaust and have black smoke. mine got into a point of dilution with engine oil.

You must disconnect the rod from the wastegate lever to evaluate correctly.

Will I be able to move the Westgate lever if I remove the rod. And also if I add air into the line and then release the air should the lever move back into position?

It depends on the system you use, solenoid valve or air pressure.

@@car-parts2.011 You must check the wastegate without the lever attached to insure it is not stuck and operates fully. You then must check the Actuator solenoid or air pressure actuator etc to insure it is working correctly. You cannot just do what this video says.

Hello Sir,
I have one question.
I test my wastgate but when i put pressure in the line from turbo to wastgete valve open but i saw also there was air escape from the rod that goes in the wastgate. Is that normal or this wastgate is broken ?
