It turns out, I was MEANT to draw these based on the translation, IE the name "Brachyanax thelestrephones" translates to "Little Lord Nipple Twister" - so it's safe to say not only did I do this WRONG, but I missed a wonderful opportunity... or DID I?! Smash like and comment if you want to se me do it again, properly!
Watching Jazza realize the trilobite was named after Mick Jagger and then immediately give up on realism and make a sedan camel was hilarious 😂
Jazza starting out in a fairly serious manner drawing an angry cat. Then quickly realizes he'll never be able to guess the actual animals and says F* it... Fat camel with car seats on top it is. 😂
Next challenge: drawing animals based on the description of exotic animals done by early European scientists and adventureres. Could Jazza get elephants more right?
I think jazza trying glass blowing would be a cool and interesting medium to watch him try ( I know it’s dangerous and hard but I mean like a video like the chainsaw horse where he helps and assists a professional and learns how to do some of it)
What a wonderful idea to draw animals based on their "translation" of the scientific name. Being a scientist myself, I am used to work with these species names and would have never thought about this interpretation. I really love it and would like to see more.
you should try to draw animals based on their medieval descriptions. Drawfee tried this and it was hilarious.
I love it. Jazza draws a grumpy cat, then discovers the critter is a trilobite. 🤣Just lovely!
You are SO funny! As a science teacher, I am dying laughing over here at your attempt to dissect the Latin meaning for these names! I love your art and marvel at your talent! You are so blessed with at amazing gift. Thank you for sharing this wonderful opportunity with us!
Loved this format xD Hope we get to see more ASAP.
For next one please draw the mythological gods of different countries as described in their rituals book.
I really love the idea of a big ox-like creature that wanders around with plants growing out of its back! It would really fit in a lot of cool settings; a bit like those swimming island guys in Subnautica, but the terrestrial version.
I absolutely loved you combining the camel, lapras, headphones and vehicle. It was the perfect amount of ridiculous. I think I need more like this.
Jazza dissecting the Boselaphus name literally had me laughing out loud … Laphus, like the Pokémon! 😂😂 Top shelf sciencing there!
Now I want a Princess Mononoke style movie with these creatures in it.
Your last one is my favorite! I'm glad you added flowers. I was yelling flowers when you were doing that one. You made a real life Pokémon that's realistic in our universe.
This was fun. I think it'd be cool to do this again, but also give Jazza the latin/greek translations to see if he gets any closer (I have no idea how accurate/helpful they are).
As a biology student I find it incredibly funny that Jazza obviously doesn't understand how scientific names work but he goes along with his interpretations regardless of that
This was such a Drawfee episode!!! You should collab with them if you want to do a part 2 or a translation version ❤
This reminded me how badly I want another Jazza and Drawfee collab
